Angus Mackay

Great show Alan, love Newcastle and the north east , people are fab but not so the football club , brought up to favour the Mackems

Always enjoy the rambling Alan, and the choice Alex Harvey track Framed. AC/DC before AC/DC. We managed to see a few games under Paul Le Guen’s custodianship and remember willing on Sebo to become the next Maradonna. Nearly. 😟 Rosalyn Chapel is a fab day out in Summer, Spring, Autumn. My Aussie in-laws will confirm the winter wind chill factor. Lovely gardens for the wee ones. Apologies for rambling. Regards.

Gregg

Ian black - fuck sake Alan. Shudder 😂

The free kick Bayern got was a complete dive - never a free kick

Great stuff Alan but whenever I hear the words Billy Urquhart I have to go and lie down. Missed a couple of sitters that got us knocked out the European Cup against Cologne. If you’re a Robert Fripp fan I suggest you tune in to Robert and Toyah’s Sunday Lunch. You’ll love it. 👍🤨😂

Dougie McAllister

Very good listen again Alan... and you managed to get a rare moment when Dale Gordon sends in a great cross.. (other than his debut at Dunfermline when he looked a super star) Interpol wow 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 😁Heinrich Maneuvers is a great song from the album our love to admire.. keep up the good work 👍🏻

Honestly felt that was probably our best chance of winning the European Cup that season, so disappointing that night at Ibrox. I’ll give the podcast a listen pal.

David Baillie

Greigs team played some fine football that season but ultimately fell short. I agree with you on it being our best chance to win the European Cup. I would have fancied us against any of the teams in the semis. Forest were a fine side mind you. Urquharts misses really hurt us that night. You’ll find Toyah and Robert on YouTube. Enjoy. Loved the PIL tune.

chris smith

Another cracking pod Alan! PIL and Interpol!!! ;-))

John Walker

Ah Michael mols what a player. That game in munich is one of the most frustrating ever. Glad to introduce you to Interpol, public image one of my fav songs had it as my ringtone for years.

David Baillie

Thought you would like it. There’s some crackers going back a couple of years.

Derek Killin

Can't wait for your show. Brilliant. A sprinkling of Northern Soul music would be the best.

Thanks pal. Next week’s already recorded Derek, just let me know which song you’d like and I’ll use in following show.
