Third warm up game and the toys are out of the pram already. Do we really deserve a good team with all of the reactionary whinging and minute-by-minute fickleness? As always, I refer you to "Ally, Ally get tae f*ck". Expecting so many new players to gel immediately is simple stupidity.

A long diagonal ball over the top, Borna and Tav running (badly) down the wing, a centre back going on a mazy. The season hasn’t started yet and I am fucking sick of Barisic already. I watched the game in the house and I was closer to his man than he was. The style of play needs sorted out fast.

Before I start let me say I 100% appreciate this is a pre season friendly and I do not want my comments to be considered an over reaction, but we must be allowed to critique what we see ….. I thought we were awful tonight. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t a fan of the Beale appointment and I continue to struggle to understand how he wants us to play which is a major concern (obviously I want him to be a success) - what is our identity?!? . I didn’t see it last season and I still don’t see it this preseason. Our build up play is still very slow and we don’t close down and press high like the top teams do. The gaffer talks really well in pressers but I don’t think we see that on the pitch. I hope he is a huge success and I am absolutely backing him - I just have these small concerns in the back of my mind 😬

He’s not the tactical messiah he’s made out to be for me. Your right it’s early, maybe the signings euphoria has raised expectation to a level that’s a bit false for guys only being here for a few weeks at best but the season is starting soon and there isn’t a lot of time before Europe. I just don’t get the plan, it’s a group of players that are all decent individually but not sure how he expects to score goals with this set up. Hopefully it clicks, maybe the new 9 or midfielder will make the difference, either way it’s been uninspiring so far.

The judgement is on the tactical plan and preparation. Ofc its pre-season and players are getting fit but there seems to be no discernible plan while the same faults (from the same players) as last year continue to lose us games.

That was simply awful. We seem to be playing with no midfield bar Raskin and just let five forward players run around like headless chickens. Early days but red flags aplenty.
