There is positive signs from this side and those of us who see this have every right to be enthused by it. Most of the negative crap is Facebook/Twitter. Most of that is from people watching their televisions for coverage, perhaps that doesn't show the positive signs we see at the game who knows. I often find logging out of these sites helps me no end.

Much better periods of play tonight, can see the team needs to get know eachother though. Should have been 3-1 if it wasn't for their keeper pulling off a save Shagger could have produced (and then claim he never touched)

Get behind the players and managers. We are moving in the right direction

Billy McCormack

Yip alot of good things up until the lammers sitter then after that it was poor.

Russ

Pleased enough, it's going to be slow going with huge upheaval in the squad to be fair. Agree that they aren't that great, I don't think they're UCL quality (not entirely sure we are either to be honest).

Colin Gardner

Lots of good stuff in the first 30 minutes. What is frustrating though is when we fail to break teams down we resort to flinging the ball in diagonally from the edge of the box.Im no tactical genius but the hardest cross to defend is a ball cut back from the bye line. When was the last time we got a player there and cut one back. Also I know its early and I hate critiquing new players but that's 4 games I've watched Dessers and I've not seen anything that gives me hope that he will become a 25 a season goal forward. Hope I'm wrong.

Positive until they scored the pen then we regressed. Game slowed down, going sideways and backwards. Terrible decision making in the final movements time and time again. It’s like a negative chain reaction takes place throughout the team and you can spot it right away when it happens. So frustrating. Thought the subs could have been brought on sooner tbh. Jack was blowing out of his arse for a while before he got hooked. Happy with a win but disappointed we’re not all but out of sight as it was there for the taking. On to Livi now and I’m not banking on that being easy on the eye either.

Norm

Your not wrong, he's anything but the rampaging no 9 we were told about. Waste of good money.

Angus Mackay

The manager is right. It's obvious that the players are all trying to understand the nuances of playing together. What I like is that a lot of players are instinctively doing things quickly, it's just not quite clicking yet. I think we'll get where we want to be a lot quicker if people relax and just get behind the team.

Rona Bluebell

I was pleased. We won! We showed signs of what is to come. People, this was a good night and result.

At least they were better than saturday..and hopefully get better as each game is played...we go away with a win and we should get past this round ok...thought the ref let some pretty dodgy tackles go by ...boy do I love Todd everytime he runs with the ball the other team gets nervy...now if we can only keep the tempo up longer than 30 mins we are on our way..

Peter Hosie

Sorry I thought that was an awful watch and can anyone explain why all the seats were empty around the directors box?

Gary Shaw

Better than Saturday but the bar was pretty low….my main concern is how heavy legged some players look only 2 games into the season and the amount of basic 5-10yd passes that we misplace is astonishing

Cody

Some good play in spells but again some worrying play, Lammers shooting for outside the box doesn’t seem to have that technique and it’s early early but in Dessers I’m struggling to see any basics of a footballer

Norm

Bring the Buff back

Gregg

Haven’t been on socials for a few years - I don’t miss it.

Think your comments are spot on David, you have to acknowledge both positives and negatives there were both tonight. Jacks drive is noticeable compared to a Lundstrum and as you say Souter was excellent, he has been the best CB so far this season. Lakers again good and green shoots of some kind of forward shape tonight. My disappointment comes from them not being good but more importantly significantly weakened by loss of the man in game but more importantly all the suspensions / injuries. That was a good a hit as we were getting at them. Maybe given they already showed they are good at collapsing a game when they go a man down we shouldn’t have expected much but that was a great chance to show our ruthless streak. I suspect them trailing by an odd goal isn’t the end of the world for them, us being a goal up isn’t the worst for us….it’s in the balance, it could have been dead and buried which is where the anger comes from.

David Baillie

My thoughts entirely David. I’ve been calling for some time for someone (anyone) to attack the front post when balls are coming in from wide areas so it was good to see 2 (can you believe it) strikers in the 6 yard box at the 2nd goal. Onwards and upwards.

Spoon

Your also not a happy clapper…..the optimistic side of realist but no more 👍🏻

Graham Leatherbarrow

The lad from Brighton doesn’t deserve any more game time, I’ve seen enough already
