Davie when are we going to start asking some serious questions about this absolutely shambles of a team performance yet again

Colin

I just don't get this good twenty mins how many chances did we creat an a professional footballer missing from 3 yards out

james whyte

1st half hr was good. Thereafter reverted back to deep balls into the box and too much slack play. I understand the need for the new guys to gel but I expect Rangers players to be able to complete simple 10 yard passes. Anyway, a wins an improvement, onto Livi and another game where we will have to break a team down. Should be fun!

Colin

Iam sorry that mob would have taken about 6 or 7 from them

Mark

I also thought that part of the problem for MB on Saturday was tonight's game.

Mark

How did Brendan get on when he played his first European qualifier?

Gazza_Hendo

The negativity is pointless. Get behind the team and management. Players are getting fit and slowly sussing each other out. Should have been 3-1 and we limited them to very few chances. Yes we could have played better but it’s at least some progress..

Mr J K Murray

champions league changes next year where all teams play 4 games[8 in total] before last 16 play offs and no break in the football if you are preceeding, calling it after a Swiss Model, lol, we do the mud tripping games agian this year,we are going to drop down to the eufa cup, when ever, but the main issue is winning the league. Players in have decent contracts, & at the moment,do not look like they could be sold on,like issues we have with Morelos ect, win next games like pulling rabbits out of hat hic, ship be in better shape, under a week before we play again 'are these players properly registered in a full house of 30 thousand, should be fun, comment on Mr Dressers hand ball , what are you doing like, hic

Trev @JimmyBell_Loyal

We soon won’t be allowed to hassle the ref if we follow the EPL

Douglas Innes

When they went down to 10 men we really shouldve taken Hagi on someone to open them up with a pass or take a shot

Graham Jones

An improvement form the weekend but a disappointing second half. We have what ti takes to go through, but we have to keep improving and not make mistakes in these games. I’m hoping the forwards can find the target on Saturday, as it would help move things in the right direction before next week, in what will be a tough away leg. We need to go there in numbers and take over their stadium, make ourselves heard and give the team as much chance of going through. They are a side whose real danger is in sticking with you and keeping it tight, so we have to be alive to that threat and match them all over the pitch.

Euan Dover

I agree. We’ve been decent in about three games since Beale came in. Totally unsustainable.

Think the assessment from you guys is spot on in terms of this game and the lead up / fall out. The issue that the manager and some fans seem to gloss over is this isn’t his first time here, it’s not the first time we have had these issues and until he is willing to acknowledge them he won’t start to address them. In isolation there was a bit more blue sky tonight, the fear about our lack of cutting edge remains but there is a legitimate view that this time it’s about new players getting up to speed more than having guys who have been proven to be ineffective. We talk a lot about the demands of the club but in recent years we have shifted our expectations significantly. Time to get back to expecting 20+ goals domestically from strikers 10+ from midfielders and a few from the defenders. Time to stop excusing players who turn up every other game if it suits them, I think we have gotten a bit soft and reliant on excuses. Let’s admit we aren’t quite back as people have rightly said this week, I can live with flawed players and us developing as long as the manager isn’t then pretending it’s all rosy. A win is a win in Europe and if we get our act together we could get the same score over there and kick on. Problem is these days it’s an ‘if’.
