Steady if not spectacular improvement. Starting to gel. A lot more positive than this time last week. Note to self - don't ask players to take risks if you're not willing to see risks not always get rewards. Trust between players and fans is key. A bit to go but signs we might just get there.

Comment spot on David and good to see something to get positive about, manager also right in his analysis and comment after game. The key now is to put the same into the next run of games and make it the norm, consistently showing progress is what people need to buy in and the aim now has to be to make this the baseline in terms of effort, increase the duration of the ‘good spell’ from a third to the majority of the game and to add that bit of polish. There was a plan today, the players showed much more than recently and that can only be positive even if there are still areas to improve. Time to kick on.
