Douglas McIntyre

Rabbi should’ve stood up, sang Don’t Rain on my Parade, dropped the mic and sprinted off.

Gordon Mac

@David Edgar can you get on the tunes for a Friday mate? 😕

Haining84

They can’t refuse us tickets based on the SPFL rules.

Paul Kerr

Safety concerns when they regularly bottle kids... Aye no bother. 👍

Colin

Indication seems to be that they will withhold tickets and just take any fine they get for doing so. Not like this league is going to dock them points or anything is it?

Russell McGhee

What do we, as a club,do if the SPFL decide to go back to the old allocation?

Mark

please take the keys to the heart and hand hi-fi away from Colin.

PR__92

The 2 clubs need sort this ticket stuff out people think the TV deal is bad just now wait until you see the next one if the clubs continue to dilute the only fixture of value in the league

Tamus

"celtic football club are used to people bending over for them". *. Yes they are

Gazza G

We already have safe standing! It’s called the Broomloan front where we need to stand every game due to front rows standing. Sair feet every week!

Gregg

The tv deal has been shit for years regardless of away allocations. There are a lot of arguments for increasing allocations but I don’t think this is one.

JM

Rangers should for a lol offer to sell 800 tickets direct to Celtic fans - would split their support and give them no excuses.

Gregg

Would they not have to change their own rules? And given hearts have reduced allocations can see them going for it - Aberdeen as well potentially and you normally need 11-1 so seems a dead duck?

PR__92

True it has been but the product is shit so if I was a TV company I would only be offering buttons too the rivalry will become irrelevant if it keeps up not to us obv but outside the bubble which then has a knock on affect with advertisers ect but just my opinion see how it plays out

Gregg

It’s not uncommon to have little or no away fans at big derby games throughout Europe. We were an outlier - for years we were told by the media how it was Scotland’s shame/ poison etc. it changed and now they want it back.

John Whyte

Why can’t away fans be put up into a corner of the club deck and fenced in like away fans are in europe. Out of sight and out of mind like a certain club put our fans, well when they give us tickets

Bryan Scott

Why do you only see the broomloan an Copland as the only option for a singing section, why not the centre of the Govan?

Russell McGhee

Dunno, as far as I know their decision is final if 2 clubs can't agree and you know the influence they have with the SPFL. Just putting it out there.

Tamus

I like Colin, he is a serious podder. However his Music selections are Bad Aids for the Ears

Mark wood

Is there anyone else I can contact from the club about the new seating arrangements for the disability area.i sit in the back row of the copland I am going to get moved regardless of the signing section,I have sent 3 emails now and nothing ? Cheers

Scott Cameron

good luck trying to police that and the CD for away fans has rarely happened in my experience

Piggott

David was right yesterday when he said banfield won't tell us much, he is a wily old fox

Douglas Wright

Interesting about the singing section copland thing. I sit in the copland and would love to put forward my views but never heard anything about it or got an email about registering

Alastair McGeoch

Got to laugh at Celtic saying they have safety concerns..but that was the only thing they could say given their “we not part of anything”, “goal to opposition” “no old firm” crap. They can’t come out and say we want more tickets to a game we don’t care about and see the same as any other league game! Clowns

David Rome

They do it as they feel that as long as they win both their home games against us it ll be enough win the title as we will drop more points than them. It then trying to gain out it. That’s how I see it.

David Rome

Ps your tunes are brand new colin! Don’t listen to the above! 😂

Jock Paterson

I’d rather we campaigned to close down The Paedophile Club rather than to get tickets to the Theatre of Shame off them.

Iaian

Singing section should be front and centre of govan IMO.

Jock Paterson

Never happening for many reasons. Financially not a great idea, visibility for the rest of the stand, nuisance to hospitality, and probably loads more of it was thought about

Iaian

100%. I agree it’s never happening. I’ve always thought it would be best place. Front and centre. Allows it to grow etc. Totally get it will never happen though. But I live 5000 miles away. So what I think matters not a jot. Haha

Owen Scott

OK so they refuse tickets because they feel that 800 of them are not safe but they want to send 8000 instead. Makes no sense.

Steven L

Let’s not kid on the decision is made on the UB move.

Graham Jones

That lot can’t complain about any of this because they started this years ago when they slashed our ticket numbers and moved us out of the way. I can remember the days when we used to take around nine thousand there, but they started this nonsense when Desmond and O’Neil moved in and started this nonsense. Lawell drove the bus for them and now his wee boyfriend is trying to keep the whole nonsense afloat. Frankly, they can go fuck themselves if they don’t want the tickets. They should think themselves lucky for getting offered what we put forward. They have an obligation to offer some tickets, as the rules state. If they don’t want to take any from us then that’s up to them. We did offer.

Fraser milne

Can't understand why Colin thinks the Govan front should be exempt

Bryan Scott

I’m no expert but surely the acoustics will be better from centre of the stadium

Ron Jeremy

Do they? I’m not being funny but the Union bears singing in bf1 gets maybe a few rows in bf2 singing,do people expect moving them to another part of the stadium is all of a sudden going to get the whole stadium rocking? We are the most entitled support going and bar a few games the atmosphere at ibrox is pathetic with or without the singing section, stadium starting to clear out at 70 mins as well isn’t a good look either

stefan strzelecki

UB have engineered their place into the fabric of the club., you almost have refer to them as a separate entity of our magnificent support. In my view there shouldn’t be a compulsion for any fans to do it. The club could offer a free membership of an exclusive VIP event on annual basis. We win the league , there is an after party invite to the supporters who relocated their seat , in the pursuance of progressing the vocal platform for the UB. Incidentally, UB aren’t entitled to attend the said event. Which will have first team players and management in attendance . I’m sure everyone would agree to this .

I would take issue with the club subsidising any move to the club deck. I sit in CD4, this season I paid nearly £800. Why should I pay more than others. Nah. A lot of factors at play here but looking at how it may impact me…you can’t appease some to the financial detriment of others.
