Roofe showed the benefit of actually looking where you’re putting the ball with that first half cross. 🤞he stays fit. And all Greggs shops empty of humble pie due to Matondo😊

CRAIG CASSELLS

Decent first half capped by a Tav wonder goal. Utterly dreadful and forgettable second half where it looked as though we couldn't find a man with the simplest of passes. MOTM for me was Barasic

Good 1st half. 2nd half pretty sloppy in patches and most of Countys chances were down to our slack passes etc. But Lawrence back and Roofe scoring huge positives. Lammers, not sure he does enough as yet. 3 points onto Wed and a massive game.

Gary Shaw

Barasic best player on the park and Lundstram had his best game for a while…Matondo absolutely doing himself no harm at all….careless ball retention again in the second half ,too many thinking it was easy…that’s when we miss a Ferguson type captain for me,to get everyone back on it

Russ

You've got to give Borna his dues to be fair, he had the left hand side on lockdown with John Souttar.

I understood Dessers playing up against the big defence and his assists and couple of goals lately but I'm looking forward to seeing what a roofe/danilo partnership would be like. He seems to be playing certain players until they produce something but not with Danilo, it's a strange one considering the outlay.

Gregg

It’s amazing the difference in the number of comments when things go well, just a thought. Happy Saturday

Misery loves company - I hate all ‘in person’ company mainly, but like forums when they are positive, but I’m in the minority it would seem.

Butland is a massive difference, wish we'd got hime 2 seasons ago

Can't help but thinking Matondo being used on the left, the position he played before he signed for us, is playing a factor too. If I recall last season, his best (only?) decent game came when he played there. Think it was and early 4-0 win but can't remember as the red mist had descended in pre-season and never lifted.

Graeme Glennie

Roofe is the difference for me. He is absolutely key to have on the pitch (when fit) there's no one in our squad that moves like him. So good to see him back.

Bob MacCallum

David, no need to praise the ref for the amount of added on time - that's the job of the 4th official. He just does what he's told.

Gary Shaw

What a sight to see a goalie come as far as the penalty spot to claim a ball 🙏

Rona Bluebell

If Roofe scores Sunday, dust that tune off for the Monday show

Jim Milne

Got a feeling with Roofe being in his final year that we will see him fit for 90% of the season. It's a real shame, he's Daniel Sturridge 2.0 for me.
