Hi, extremely cheeky I know but! if anyone knows of a spare ticket and takes pity on a bear in east anglia who’s leaving home at 2am Sunday morning! Traveling the 330 miles knowing he’s got the slimmest chance of picking up a ticket outside the ground? Think of me please 🤷🏼‍♂️😊🤷🏼‍♂️ if you don’t ask the question you’ll never know the answer! 🔴⚪️🔵

So many times to get Shankland and good as he is don’t need him

I just think the loan for Hagi is essentially what Bayern did with Tillman and us except we haven't dangled a mythical £6m carrot infront of Alaves' face. We're well stocked in that area and the player isn't in favour, let him play and assess his value at the end of it - if it goes well then it's a winner, the only issue is around his wages for the season and if he subsequently flops. Best of luck to him.

Hopefully there is a contingency in place for the team not to be caught up with flight delays!

Shankland for me would be like a year 2000 version of billy Dodds

How will the team fly out to the Netherlands if there are air traffic control issues?

Does window not “slam shut” on Thursday night going into Fri 1 Sept?

Graeme Hanna

The plane is currently on the tarmac at Stansted. Due to run up to Glasgow tomorrow morning then over to Eindhoven.

Cheers G. Looks like the issue has been resolved, but there are knock-on delays. Hopefully it won't disrupt our plans for tomorrow.

Hagi going to Alaves in La Liga is the perfect fit for us and him. Providing he does well and plays enough games, then he can get volume into his legs and we either get a player returning from a season in a top five league, or he sells himself over there in front of a host of scouts, including Barcelona, where there is an obvious emotional tie for him. Really smart move by the club. I think our result in Eindhoven will determine what player we go for before the window shuts. If you look at the ins and outs, and from what Beale said himself, the Kamara deal will put us at break even for the pre-season, which makes me think the board want to hoard the cash for a possible stadium expansion. Maybe not this season, but in the next couple of seasons. I don’t know what it is, but they gave a lot of detail at the recent CEO meeting recently, and it’s stuck in my head that this is the sort of project that Bisgrove would like to get his head into, so I’m not expecting huge sums to exchange hands again this window. Maybe I’m completely wrong and just imagining it.
