There are lots of good teams in the EL, no guarantees we will be racking up the wins as everyone seems to be assuming. Bad luck in the draw and we could easily find ourselves floundering.

No but unlikely as a pot 2 EL side to get the quality we would in CL. It’s not an unreasonable expectation to expect us to look to get out of the group.

You'd need to win an EL group to advance or potentially get a CL 3rd place team in the play-off. You've got teams like AC Milan, Lazio, Newcastle in lower pots, as well as potential Pot 2 teams who might finish 3rd like Man Utd, Dortmund, Atletico and others. 2021-2022 was a massive accomplishment that we can't take for granted.

Andrew I completely agree. Our fans go way over the top about Raskin, I don’t see it. I thought we were awful tonight. I hate to say it but Beale isn’t a Rangers manager, I would love him to be a huge success but I just don’t think he’s that man. This isn’t a knee jerk reaction to tonight’s shambles, he’s been here long enough and there’s no real improvements. I know some fans think we are better but from what I’ve seen on the park are we really ??? I sadly don’t think so. There is no clear strategy or style to our play, he doesn’t make changes to influence or change a game. We paid 5 or 6 million on a striker but he sits on the bench, our defence is awful. I hate being negative but I seriously have major concerns about our club right now - I hope I’m wrong

How does that make sense tho? We have a fairly modest budget but spend 10m on 2 attackers only to keep one on the bench?!? That’s mental. Especially when we’re so poor at the back and lack creativity in the middle….. why spend a huge percentage of our budget on the frontline when (it would seem) the two big money players can’t play in the same team ?!?

We only lack creativity in the midfield at champions league level, we don’t domestically and have by far the best midfield in the SPL now as will be proven sunday. To get creative top class midfielders for the level we played PSV we need to be spending tens of millions per player. Domestically they are absolutely brilliant
