John Smith

I’m not giving up my dream

Allan Airth

Shitebag Borna is another one who can GTF, let’s be honest.

Bigticket

Could it be possible that Beale left Barisic out for Sunday BECAUSE of him demanding to come off on Tuesday? Beale hasn't said why he was actually left out.

Jim Milne

I keep hearing Beale had to rebuild, etc. and we should be judging on only this season. 99% of the players in last season's team were players he worked with during his time under Gerrard. He couldn't win important games last year with players he'd previously coached and can't beat a decimated team at home with no away fans. He's a nice guy, I wanted it to work but he needs to go and go now.

Jim Milne

Great tune. A lot of us could do with a hash pipe after Sunday.

Graham Roy

Well I haven’t listened to anything since Sunday so let’s see if I can make it through! 😂

chris smith

Australian sources quoting Muscat … as for timing, it was the same with Gio … we all thought the time had passed and then ‘boom!’

Andrew Hillis

Any truth David in Muscat links??

Steve Stewart

Would love the club to act and show its ruthlessness

Greg

Super fit and ready to go? I don't think that's what was said.

Mark Sheen

Nothing on the muscat stuff?

Greg

I do find it amazing that no one bothers to question roofes bottle and appetite for a fight.

David Baillie

Cheers lads. I wonder if there’s more to the Borna situation than what we’re being told. Another strange set of circumstances.

Bigticket

Could well have been the reason. People seem to be saying he was injured but Beale had misled us. Could be that Beale wasn't misleading us and he literally just left him out since he clearly didn't fancy the battle.

KennyY

The board isn’t going to do anything yet. We have some big home games coming up while they have some difficult away days. We need to be flawless from now until xmas to give us a chance. Within that this group of players needs to perform because they are all on long term contracts

Allan

Not fit to play in our biggest game of the season but fit for international duty. Seriously?

Mark Harvey

What a tune! Underrated band.

Paul

Borna fit. The board not being proactive. Some laugh supporting our club. But hey ho. We'll all still be here after all these characters have gone. 💙

Colin Wieland

A couple of years ago, one of the podders called Barasiĉ a coward. I cant remember who. At the time I thought it was a tad harsh. However, it stuck with me and there is no doubt in my mind that this was a very perceptive comment. He absolutely is.

David P

I get that you've not likely been told anything concrete in regards to Beale. What's your feeling though Davie, do you think it's even come into consideration about replacing Beale amongst the board? I fear I know your answer on this already 😔

David P

Think he just felt tightness in his hamstring tbh. Borna's played in some absolute horror shows, don't see why he'd shite it now and want to be taken off.

David P

Never mind mate, 2 minutes into the update and you've answered my question 😂. and yes it was exactly what I expected and feared 😬

David P

We all know how this is going to play out and I wonder if the board appreciate the level of apathy simmering amongst the support. If we plod along like we all expect and end up with another season of not challenging when do the crowds start to drift? Personally don't think the appetite is there for another season of dead rubbers. Football ain't cheap and times are hard.

Bigticket

Did you not watch his gestures? He wanted off, not blaming the guy for wanting to be cautious with his body, but he did demand to be subed.

David P

Bring back Staff jnrs Colin gets nothing series. I fear threats to life where behind the shows cancellation however 😂

John Smith

Apparently a protest at 6pm tomorrow

Stephen

You know that feeling you get when you play football, after not having played for a while. The day after is a wee bit sore, but not too bad. The 2nd day is brutal. That's where I am right now.

Scott Duncan

Good luck Buff. Always welcome back at Ibrox for a wee visit!

Lynsey Roddy

It does annoy me that Borna & Tav get absolutely savaged but Goldson & Roofe are favourites. Goldson has been poor for months now! I wasn’t as pleased as everyone else when he stayed as I don’t rate him the way most of our support seem to. The goal on Sunday & the save Butland had to make early in the 2nd half came from him & him alone. I’m done with the back 4, Lundstram who’s played for a total of 5 months in his entire time with us so far & that’s me being generous & Beale can pack his bags & join them all in heading to pastures new now.

AmoRangers

Hear me out: McInnes with Martindale in his coaching staff (both capable of regularly hammering the fodder), KT as DOF and Souness in to do TED Talks with the players and teach them about the history of the jersey? Alternatively Stuart Kettlewell has only 2 pts less than Celtic in the league since his appointment. More than Beale. In the summer, go big and get a proper manager in, like Southgate. He's said he's done with ENG after the Euros.

Stuart cunningham

International brake came at right time for the club they can just be silent as usual

Spoon

The issue we have now is that one of our prime chances for clawing back points from them and building a lead has gone. I get there was chat about how they may have gone backwards but that won’t last long as they have an experienced manager and the finances to kick on. I don’t think we just did our own legs at weekend we handed them a boost in terms of the mental aspect and the points that we won’t really get back. Now even if both teams max out on points with rest of league (less and less likely for us) we only have 3 games or 9 points we can swing. We can pretend that ther league has twists and turns but the team who takes the points in these games will tend to win out. We now have one more home and 2x away games and that’s not a lot of room for error. It’s more worrying as we have seen nothing in Beales time here to suggest he really hasn’t the ability to change it.

Spoon

For me the other games we win most they win most, we might both drop a few points but these are your games to get a gap and put the much vaunted scoreboard pressure on.

mark wyper

Even if we beat st Johnstone it's all about the brand of football we play if it's still the same shit the manager has nowhere to go

Rona Bluebell

I’m eating wotsits, twirl chocolate, and these new skittle ice cream lollies to cope. I highly recommend it.

Tamus

Borna came off injured, 2 days later the manager says Borna is not injured. After that Borna is not near the squad for Sunday. imho Borna is a shitebag and the manager took umbridge with him and left him out the celtic match - Borna GTF

Stewart Robertson

Was just speaking to my pal, and I’m feeling the old No Surrender spirit coming back. It is what it is - back the team, and back whoever is the current manager. We’re a Loyal support - the clue’s in the name.

Tamus

Morelos - Birthday Kerd Pish

Graeme Heaney

I’m still drinking from this shit show and I’m getting on it again morra because sunshine here is rare, we’ve fucked up signing Beale and giving him free reign signing a lot shit, example balogun wasn’t good enough gio last year when we had no defenders but he’s back this year? Recruitment is key and we’ve blown it. Everyone knows is but we want give him a chance but we’re just wasting time.

Doug Young

Bit harsh to now be blaming players who weren't even playing in Sunday's debacle, isn't it? I'm more concerned that Beale played an untested right-back at LB instead of Devine who stood in really well last season when Borna was out. Which is the issue with Beale. Nothing he does seems to make sense.

Ross

Harsh on Sterling, I thought he did well and along with Butland the only positive.

Doug Young

Yeh, certainly tried his best out of position, fair. My point was really that Borna doesn't even need to play to get pelters and he's been one of our only performers this season so far. But yes, Sterling wasn't the issue. The other three defenders were much more culpable. And have been past few games. Borna is just easy meat.

David Innes

I’m hoping it’s why we didn’t see any more signings towards the end of the window - board know they’ve fucked it and need to keep money back to pay him off

David Innes

I expect the crowd for the Livi cup game will be the lowest we’ve had for a while

8luenose1872

I was thinking the same even before the ceptic game, keeping money for January for new manager.

Stephen

Agreed. No one knows how fit Borna is. He might have just been 80% and not quite ready. It’s not as if he starts every game for Croatia anyway. People seem to let Jack and Roofe get away with only being able to play 1 game a week. If Borna has a confidence issue that leads to missing games , is that really any different to a player whose body isn’t up to playing in an extra game every week?

Graham Jones

When you have Rangers supporters agreeing with Chris Sutton that the Rangers manager should be a sacked after four games of the season then something really is twisted. I don’t want any part of what is starting to feel like a witch-hunt, let alone one being fed by Celtic commentators. Cowering referees left Beale under the microscope because they got a decision so badly wrong, despite having checked it again. People need to find some perspective and fast, because they’re doing the job for the powers that be over in the east end of the city. If we can’t see past the smoke and mirrors then we are in bigger trouble than having a new team that is struggling for true form in the early days of the season. Maybe someone at the club should’ve lowered expectations and asked for some patience with the new squad, but that’s speaking with the benefit of hindsight.

Graham Espie

It’s the plan not the game. Rangers can’t spend 3-6M on a bench warmer who is fully fit. A refereeing decision or that game in isolation isn’t the issue.

Stace1ofthePeople

Unfortunately not. The team will continue to play shit but churn out results and then shit the bed again and lose to Celtic at NY. Seen it too many times. I seriously hope I'm wrong
