There's zero chance our board would be proactive enough to sack him now. They'll wait until after Christmas when the season can't be salvaged, appoint an interim manager and hope he wins the Scottish Cup so they can keep him about. As much as it's true you can't just change managers every season, doubling down after making the wrong appointment isn't better than admitting you got it wrong. And they got it wrong with Beale.

I completely get this suggestion would need investor funding - but I would love Davie Moyes to get job! Grew up Rangers fan and is doing a great job with West Ham. I appreciate he has millions to spend but all relevant compared to the Billionaire Teams in the top 6. That is the proven level we need to raise our ambitions too. I could be completely wrong but having really done all he can do with the hammers I suspect he might be willing to take Gerrard / Gio’s level salary??

I very much doubt it. It's about a quarter of what he is on and he'll get another EPL job no problem. People don't leave the EPL for Scotland if they have the option to stay.

It’s a nice idea but the fact is that the boyhood heroes thing is what we as fans would do. To get to where he’s got you have to be coldly professional and determined. And he was such a big fan he signed for them. 😀

Why only 550 tickets? I get that is the minimum amount they require to offer, but if they only average 1200 home fans in a 10,800 stadium, surely we should be able to take more if they have unsold tickets.

As a thought, Gio was relieved of his duties very shortly after the first anniversary of his appointment. It may have been that there's some clause inserted into contracts relating to performance review after a year.

Coldly professional and determined are to very decent attributes I agreed but our entire Board has no experience or expertise indeed of running such an iconic football club! I do fear we are just kicking the ball down the track with Beale and come Xmas we will turn to McInnes! 😱😱😱

One thing that's puzzling me is why some of the fanbase has selective amnesia. "You can't sack him after 4 games" mantra. He's had 9 competitive games this season and won 4, drew 2, and lost 3, and is 6 points behind after 4 league matches. He's also been here almost 10 months and failed in every meaningful game including a cup final. He's managed against them 6 times and won once in a dead rubber whilst losing 4 times and drawing once. These failures have been due to his game plan/lineups/ tactics and not down to bad luck. This is a narrative that I feel needs to be challenged as it's simply wrong. GET HIM OUT!

Where's the balance here this week David. Not every fan wants Beale sacked. He's just been backed to the tune of 13million, and we're only 4 games in with a large squad rebuild. Fat Ange was miles behind us after their rebuild, lost the first old firm etc. We all know how that season ended. The overreaction has been way over the top.Just my opinion.

But if you think I’m ever going to say to the boys to argue something they don’t believe, nope. This site is about people’s opinions, their honest ones. That’s what you’re getting. Also the subject has only been discussed on 5 shows out of 15 so it’s not like we’re giving you no choice but to listen to it! So no, on this one, I have to respectfully disagree with your comment.

Remember the podders aren’t full-time - they have jobs and families. So it’s not always possible to have a full squad to select from, so to speak. Alex will be back on his show the Preview for example but truthfully I’d say we’re probably 90-10 one way on this as a group. I’d love to be optimistic - it’s usually my default setting! - but I’m just not. I’ll pick up I’m sure as we get closer to our return to playing.

The talk around Beale is just embarrassing now. We need to draw a line under it, because we’re creating a feeding frenzy for the Celtic led media. I’m a bit disappointed with some of the coverage on the pod, to be honest. We have no patience in our support, and it’s sending us chasing our tail.

I'd agree with most of this, my post game fury has gone now, st Johnstone ticket arrived and I'm desperate to get back to real football. Those that are still rage posting, abusing the manager and invading comment sections aren't doing themselves any favours entertaining the rest of Scottish football and feeding the media. I actually think some of our fans genuinely thought Beale was getting sacked, got themselves all worked up for nothing.

We have a very angry support now - probably always been that way to an extent but seems to have got worse. Think Wilson/ Robertson going has emboldened some as well - do what we want or we’ll come after you next.

I personally think its because many of the support (myself included) , feel as though we want success (trophies) more than the board and that we care more. Nobody loves our club more than us ! We've been here before any board and will remain long after they are gone! As well as players and managers They are temporary and we are permanently the beating heart of the club! Are we a passionate demanding fan base? 100%? Do we think and won't action based on our emotions? 100% . are we rational? Not always no. But 90% of the time we are right about players & managers. What's the alternative? Just wait it out and not say boo? Win fuck all then do the same with the next manager after delivering us nothing again? Because let's be honest that's what is happening. Can someone ask beale (or if its already been asked I must have missed) does he think his signings are of better quality than the players that have left ? And if so when do we expect to see signs of this i.e. goals? What is his playing identify? I'm Still fucking raging about Sunday 😤

The first part could apply to any football club/ fans really. I get people are annoyed and I get I’m in the minority in thinking the manager deserves more time. And not being raging and having moved on - it is a hobby. People have put forward reasoned arguments on the contrary - there is also an element of our support that are always on the brink of a perma rage outburst.

Yeah, I’ve heard and read good arguments on both sides. I genuinely don’t think on here is particularly extreme, either podders or Patrons. I’m quite proud of it actually but I’m biased 😀

Na it’s probably less reactive than other platforms - there are some exceptions I’d say. Maybe I just don’t care as much now I’m older - my Mrs does say I’m too fucking cheery so it might be that as well 😂

The thing is I don't know what I want because I don't know what is best. I just want us to win trophies. Do we give him more time and it blows back in our faces, we get put out LC or lose the final? Lose the league by NY and playing dead rubber games for another half season? Because based on what we have seen let's be honest this does seem like the most likely outcome. However I hope to god I am sooo wrong and he turns it around but well never know until we know. Rangers is a hobby but one that has so much emotion and love has been invested since I was about 5 years old so it is hard to not care as much
