John Smith

Keith, your brother should be hired immediately

Graeme McLeod

Lundstram hasn't been "very good" at any point since the run to Seville. He was decent in the second half against Betis - was absolutely shocking early doors though - and passable today. The fact he's a guaranteed starter just now speaks to how bad we are. John Lundstram isn't good enough for Rangers, but we have fans trying to gaslight other fans into thinking he's good. And, ironically, the only period he looked a player was under Gio. Under his pals Gerrard and Beale he's looked bang average at best.

Keith Kettlewell

John I honestly think I’d do a better job than MB tbh bud. Sat watching that in my seat today and seen one team of honest players well drilled. It’s incredible how poor we were. As much as I’d love it to happen re him getting a shout realistically it wouldn’t go down well with the masses but at least we’d have an identity.

John Smith

Honestly Keith, just on that performance I would say he deserves a shot. Tactically outthought our current gaffer. Only Motherwell forwards not taking their chances gave us a victory today. I thought Roy Magregor treated him appallingly. He’s going to be a top manager bud 👍

Keith Kettlewell

I hope so mate 👍🏻 they were excellent. Had the Danish boy they have on loan from arsenal playing the result would have been different. This no man’s land we find ourselves in yet again is grim.

Greg

He was so smart and tactically astute that he came away with fuck all today. He was correctly shown the door and it proved to be the right move for county.

John Smith

I’ll need to disagree Greg. The whole setup at County with having co managers and certain other things didn’t seem right to me. I think had he continued and been given more control the club genuinely could be perpetual top 6 contenders

Conor Brown

Sorry James, Never got a comment in today as I was playing football (hate late kick offs on a Sunday) so missed the entire thing, including the chance to comment on it. Sounds absolutely shite though. Would you have Kettlewell as the manager?

Conor Brown

Lundstram is rotten, one of the worst I have ever see play consistently for us at this level. How can a player get sub 50% passing percentages week on week and remain in our fucking team?

Conor Brown

Just IMO but I honestly feel that this 'aversion' to anything Scottish within some elements of our support has led us to the place we are today. We have a team full of EFL Championship players and 4th tier eurotrash with a EFL manager and EFL or PL Youth Team coaching staff. We destroy any Scottish talent that comes through our academy by sitting it on our bench or in our reserves until it stagnates, at which point we throw them out on loan to part time clubs that train as often as my amateur team, we then cry "they were never good enough" as we try to justify to ourselves the crime of not developing them. We turn our noses up at Scottish talent at other clubs and justify it to ourselves by inventing some fictious "Rangers Tax". These players then go on to make their new clubs millions a few years down the line, while we get no return for the mediocre EFL & eurotrash in our squad. We are a Scottish club, a manager & players sought from within Scotland would know EXACTLY what we should be and where we should be, Souness, Walter, Knox, Eck, all of these men had success (unparalleled in some cases). What did they achieve in their coaching careers before us? Nothing, but they knew the league, and they knew the culture, the knew the demands. If you are looking down your noses at steady, hungry, competent managers like Stuart Kettlewell, Derek McInnes & Steve Robinson and footballers like Josh Doig, Ryan Porteous, Allan Campbell, Lewis Ferguson, Kevin Nisbet just remember that you are looking down from the lofty heights of third place in October, watching some of the most turgid shite we have produced in my lifetime.

Keith Kettlewell

Totally respect your opinion Greg. At the time it was a sore one as we’re close. Looking back it’s been a good thing for him. Time to reflect and evolve 👍🏻

James Forrest

We need a manager who has a habit of winning. As promising a coach as Kettlewell seems, he wouldn't be my choice, no.

Tamus

Maybe Neil Warnock should start turning up at Ibrox and Drinking pints in the Louden, BEALE OUT NOW

Tamus

You are so right re Lundstram, we are so brutal right now that a 5/10 defensive journeyman stands out in a sea of shite
