Bit bristly from the manager

David Campbell

Having watched the YouTube video of the presser. The manager certainly has a different vibe about him since the international break. Even tho he denied being a little irked by what's been written and said its obvious. Well done tonight Rangers

Interesting to hear Beale say we might see more of Tav playing higher, an idea that’s always led to a mixed reaction from the support….personally not an idea I’ve warmed to. Given our current injury woes it might be he feels he’s fast running out of options…as we saw with Wrights midfield role last weekend. If he was to play Tav higher up from the start in future in a back 4 system it will be interesting to see if he switches to a more traditional 4-4-2 to allow that or plays Tav right side of a middle 3….or I guess even right side of a front 3.

Beale saying stats show we were better team against motherwell that is true but fans and him were both raging with performance, that was a strange comment

Listened to pod but not Beale speaking initially. Bizarre referencing guys who weren’t performing last season or he emptied as surplus being gone as the reason for the stuttering play and disjointed set up. Anyone who believes Kent, Morelos etc are a miss then respectfully look at their domestic stats and revisit records from the time as they weren’t changing games or playing well. I was starting to get a bit of sympathy for his predicament then he drops another of these statements that just don’t add up. The one guy he should have kept was Colak but he apparently didn’t fit into the Beale system, something we are all now struggling to pin down as to what exactly it is. Every time I think I might be back in……he pushes me back out.

Heart and Hand

I think you need to remember that they’re still human beings and pressure clouds thinking. He’s not stupid, he’s aware of the feelings and it must be very difficult to deal with it. Truthfully interviews with under-pressure managers never really prove much other than it’s a highly stressful job!
