A very unscientific opinion, but Clement just screams out the second coming of Le Guen for me. Maybe he'd adapt to British football, which PLG never did, but I'd still rather we appoint someone who actually understands the club he's walking into.

Would absolutely love to see him retained in the coaching setup tbh. Can’t see it mind you, think that model of being handed coaches is out of step with European managers desires but it’d certainly get the new manager some identity with the support and a right hand man to advise on how to avoid cluster fucks such as assistant coaches talkin utter shite in press conferences.

David please please please please please encourage whoever at the club put out that Lampard wasn't in the running do the same thing for John Eustace 🙏. The thought of him being appointed is bringing me out in cold swets 😅.

McSouness points in Twitter today about Clement gives me the fear about him. Muscat all the way for me even though a week ago I was dead against it. Heard enough about his management to change my mind and set my anti-them ego aside.

Meh. Eustace has done a great job at Blues. I just think the job is so big at Rangers that we need someone with a bit more experience to steer us through it. Eustace would be a project, similar to Beale. It might work, it might not… but we can’t deal with mights right now. We have to get this right.
