I wonder what, if any, sanctions will be laid at Celtic if they refuse us tickets as it's written into SPFL rules that they must provide an allocation if the away club asks for it?

Who else is similar to Barker in that regard for us? I can just about remember Michael Ball and the lads mentioned him on Advocaat (worth a listen btw!). There's a fair bit of nostalgia in the football fan community atm with the Beckham Doc and Hazard retiring - I'm quite enjoying this intl break because of these discussions, usually I don't know what to do with myself ha.

I think Rangers should go hardball on the ticket % allocations. Tell the league it’s 5% to all teams. Money up front so no returns and we don’t lose any money on empty seats. The away fans I would feel for but until we start hurting them financially this will just continue for years

Yes, people putting a few quid on Muscat probably based on Devlin’s comments. That market is so small as to be meaningless as even a few hundred moves it. This is about the fifth name to be odds on at one point. Don’t read anything into it.

So, the ticket dispute will go to the SPFL, Doncaster will set a minimum percentage which is more than 800 but less than a full stand, the Polis will say they aren't letting us split the Broomie and we'll have to give them the full stand, right?

Re tickets, surely with the voting system in place for the top 12 clubs, Gers would just use their one vote to veto any change? Or are 2 votes needed? I've forgotten.

The SPFL change the requirements to suit whatever they need to get the result they want. Sometimes it’s 11-1, sometimes 75%, occasionally a simple majority.

Aye it's hard to think of a player for us who was electric Monday to Friday but just couldn't do it at the weekend - Boyd would've been the opposite I'm guessing. I wouldn't be surprised if Sadiq was like Barker in that regard, there was clearly something there hence his career post Rangers.

Yeah, that lot are a piece of work, no matter what it is. What I found remarkable is how that Lawell is now the vice-president of the ECA. How the hell didi such a disgraced figure get into that position. I meant, does the ECA understand the part has played in destroying Scottish football, and how he has treated the victims of the Boys Club scandal? This is the man who is now trying to cover the whole thing up with pay-offs. He was also one of the promoters of the sectarian organisation, the Green Brigade, and has been known to consort with a known bigot and fantasist Phil three names. Maybe someone should send those photos there are of the two together, as I’m sure some in the ECA would be shocked to see their vice-president with such a lowlife.

I think Rangers missed a trick by selling the away tickets for the game in September. It might have been smarter to leave the seats empty as a point.
