God I love that song!

Nail on head David. I would quite like to be entertained a tad by the team on the park, if its not too much to ask!

Piggott

David is it back to hearts today, yesterday it was there full name of heart of midlothian a hadn't heard anyone call them that in a long time

Russ

Just hope Clement doesn't use his job offers as leverage and bends us over. Muscat for me on the basis that he's won with budget constraints in different leagues and will have to do so with us (relative to Celtic). Only managers for us in our modern history who could do it with our finances is Walter and Gerrard to a degree.

John Smith

Thought for a minute there that was Skrewdriver 😅

James Anderson

Another point in our favour is that a successful manager of the old firm is a more noticeable route to the English premiership

John Smith

The fact Clement is seemingly playing games should immediately rule him out. Don’t have time for that nonsense. Muscateers unite !

John Smith

Doesn’t that sound like Ian Stuart singing ?

Ross Thomson

Spot-on about the cops. I remember being in Seville for the Champions League game at the end of 2009. Was in the hotel 10-12 floors up and saw Seville fans decking a Bear. They then ran round a corner and the Teds chased after them where the Spanish cops were waiting and beat the shit out them. They are scum of the highest order.

Ryan Stewart

Starting to get a bit restless tbh. Really need this tied up in the next couple of days to give the new manager a full week of work into Hibs

Gregg

Have been all over at football and the Spanish cops are the worst - absolute cunts

Spoon

Starting to get quite excited by the candidates, not totally against Muscat but I would much prefer Clement. Interesting to see the that Clement being sought after played as a negative! You would think hearing a guy is wanted is a good thing that indicates not only our club thinks he’s got something. Much rather a manager comes in with expectations and asking for (realistic) support than just taking the job. Hope Adam has been tee’d up for a profile pod on the new name for us football heathens who don’t follow other leagues.

Graeme McLeod

I'm a big fan of Lowry. I think it'll benefit him more in the long run to leave him at Hearts in January - so long as he's playing - and let him develop. After the difficulties he's had professionally and personally, if he can get into the Hearts starting XI and playing well regularly will stand him in good stead for next season. (Unless the new manager actually intends to play him, obviously.)

Spoon

Yeah mate I meant some of the comments here not yours in pod, Adam’s stuff got me quite into us bringing in Clement and not surprised other teams want him. As I say wouldn’t hate Muscat but from what I have heard and now read JC would be my pick.

David

Everyone seems to be leaning towards Clement, that must mean Muscat is the best man for the job 😂 we went with the last 2 managers that the majority of fans "wanted" let's try something different

John Smith

Yeah I was in a state of shock initially lol. But I do think the voices are similar

Mark

What happened to Stuff & Nonsense? Did it have to be retired because of that wee shoesniffer McGivern?

Heart and Hand

Yeah given people’s desire to take stuff out of context and get us shut down a show like that where everyone is having to be careful in case they say something that gets them fired wouldn’t work. So we could do it but I can’t blame people for being cagey and therefore it would probably be rubbish.

stephen

Sorry David don't know if this is the right place to post this (or if there is a correct place) will H&H have any representation at tonight's Broomloan Front possible relocation event at NEH? Just wondering if the DU has any plans to cover this for anyone who possibly can't attend?

stephen

Thanks mate, trying to move something to get over. If I can I'll send you guys an email in of anything of any significance.

Mark

Shame. 'gay bluto off popeye' used to describe one of the podders here was genuinely one of the funniest things I have ever heard.

Samuel Campbell

The Spanish police are like that with holiday makers especially groups of young guys. We got batoned when one of my friends approached a peeler to report having his wallet stolen

Forsyth Henderson

Career opportunities, the ones you wanna drop.........do you really wanna be a cop.....😂😂👍👍

Conor Brown

If King isn't getting opportunities ahead of Davies, Souttar and a underperforming Goldson then he won't get anything from us.

John Smith

All for one ! And one for all ! No surrender ! Let’s play our football !

Tommy

The point about Leon King is valid - he shouldn’t be sitting on our bench when he needs minutes to properly develop. This is a nutshell is why we need a DOF. Managers do not want players out on loan. There’s no benefit to them and they want the maximum choice of players to pick from. Managers focus is on the immediate term - they have no care about what’s good 3-4 years down the line as we all know the lifespan of a manager is very much limited and focused on the present. This is where you need a DOF to make decisions on squad management. We’ve played at having a DOF for years and now we’re not even trying. This needs sorted immediately. Another example is the potential need to try and recoup money back from some of the duds. Do you think Bisgrove has a network of agents he’s dealing with to see if any Dutch clubs fancy Lammers? So essentially nobody is driving this, and if we’re not selling then it impacts what we can spend. Hopefully this is sorted as priority as soon as we’ve got a manager locked in
