John Smith

Cifu !? Nah man we are genuinely cursed

John Smith

David, who is currently taking on the DOF responsibilities at the moment ?

Craig scullion

Any chat on the rumour about JB to Birmingham with Rooney taking charge?

Graeme Law

Let's be honest will Cifu actually be missed? Lol

Iain Wells

What a tune. And you even got the band name correct from that album, before the forced change. Not many would brother.

Graeme this is a real frustration of mine. I watch a lot of MLS and Jose was always a standout player. I genuinely can’t understand why he isn’t already our star player. That’s how highly I thought of him.

William Ross

I still maintain 'a storm in heaven" is their best album...followed closely by a Northern Soul.

Nae chance we will sell him, he's on a long contract and anyway thar rumour screemed of a Tim at the capers mate.

Gregg

Do you ever sleep John, MLS, J-League, Oz League. That list on Netflix is untouched innnit 😂

Jim McCutcheon

Thanks David enjoy your take on things 👍

Colin Mathie

I don't usually believe in these things, but we legit need to do something about these injuries, hold a seance, perform an exorcism, whatever, something is going on.

Graeme Law

I'm really curious & concerned about how Clement is going deal with facing teams who all pretty much adopt the low block, both home & away. This shall both suprise & shock him I'd imagine. It's probably something he's never faced during his managerial career.

Saw them at Hollywood Studios play that album. Oasis backed them up. Was too drunk to remember them and only noticed their name on the ticket years later. Heady days indeed.

David

What an amazing song. The glory days of verve

David Clapperton

NO WAY!!! No fucking way. Ha, yous are some boys……. And girls. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 8️⃣

Not listened to Adam’s latest scouting report then? The guy on it said he faced it against 80% of the teams Monaco played. No spoilers on how he got on, go have a listen.

Rona Bluebell

Can’t listen as at an event, is Jewel a definite no then???

Doogz

Cifu is hardly a miss, showed nothing for me so far, all the hype about a game changer taking us to another level, not seeing it, early days so hope Clement can get him going.

Ian Andrew

Don’t think the board can be blamed if Clement does not work out. He is a proper manager not a coach first time manager

Hendi

I'd believe Romano before I'd believe Bisgrove. Sounds like someone got a knock back...

Samuel Hammond

... when I read "Jewell", I thought Paul Jewell. Mild panic definitely ensued!

Not a surprise at all according to French journalist most teams in France play a low block against Monaco. Whether he will be able to deal with it is more debatable. The reports of pedestrian football and no plan B sounded very familiar.

stefan strzelecki

I think low blocks in football are only effective if the attacking team , play pedestrian tempo. I’m confident that the four components Big Phil eluded to in response to David’s second question , will be very effective to overpower even the most resolute defensive block. Dynamic movement , and team structure out of possession is what wins football games. Feeling optimistic that we will witness performances and results , we all want going forward.

Russ

Idk about Gerrards style in pressers tbf, I think he did well up here and with us because of how direct and authoritative he was and how our support lap that up - when he went down south and tried to do the same Villa fans just thought he was a narky prick. A particular highlight was when he said that Chelsea should wipe the floor with them - now look at both clubs and their recent H2H! Mad really, the Emery effect gives me hope with Clement.

George Higgins

Good to hear you’re off to the Capital of the U.K. Any chance you’ll come to the Capital of Scotland ?

I was uninspired when the link first emerged but I’m now satisfied that he was almost certainly the best available candidate. We need to give him time though

Kirsty Wilson

Am even better slide away than the oasis one good choice of tune!!💙

Rod

Great news, been moaning about not getting a live show down here for ages. 🙂

Ando
