Gregg

Barry Ferguson is a numpty

Greg

I don't care how bad we are I hate international breaks, delighted to have this back.

Fast forward to 2:45 unless you want to listen to Scotland chat... 🥱

Gordon

As candidates for coach I would seriously consider Martindale. I think he has done his time for past mistakes and has proved himself as the most organised and tactical aware coach in Scotland. He has worked miracles at Livingston. I also think he is strong enough not to be just a ‘yes’ man but I think he would be loyal.

Bring it on!!!! Not good changing manager so soon but the buzz going into the first game is always there and its the first game I've looked forward to for a wee while tbh.

John Buchan

Pro’s &cons big blue nose but can he serve as an assistant.Worth testing the water

Great pod as always. This guy needs to get the benefit of what should be lessons learned from the last three appointments: Gerrard wasnt backed to the level he expected to kick on from a position of building towards the championship season. I have some sympathy. GVB just wasnt backed at all and was expected to deal with a hungover, petulant squad of players on the slide. I think he was sold out by players and board. Beale was backed without scrutiny or pedigree based on his ability to sell a vision with no structure. No sympathy, was never the standard required and he got his picks without any real scrutiny on how to use them effectively or hold them to account. The new boss seems the ideal guy if the board back him, if he gets some players and if we give him a bit of time. I like the early signs, I like how he speaks and conducts himself but mostly I like that he has a bit of presence about him. Lets hope we kick on and start to see some signs of improvement even if its only flashes initially I think the fans will buy in.

Angus Mackay

Fantastic pod guys. Well spoken all round (although the identikit for the guy we need in the background sounded too much like The Bravest Man in Football fir my liking 😬😆)

Lyle Anderson

Unpopular opinion but I recon Lundstram could really thrive under more pressing direct football. Can ping a ball from midfield and always tries to hold a high line.

David Murdoch

Loved Barry as a player, we miss a fergie in the middle of the park. As a pundit, he's an absolute bampot

Keith Kettlewell

Superb listen lads. Interesting hearing Steven’s hibs team breakdown. Given the way we have set against these teams in the past, clear and concise information and assessment focussing on weaknesses like this has been missing. They are not Real Madrid FFS.

Doug Maclean

Absolutely agree. He can coach. He knows the Scottish game inside out. He would relish a long term contract as part of the club’s management team. I’d be even prepared to say he could be the coaching version of Jimmy Bell.

Ross

I agree on the basis that he’s currently our best midfielder and I think is first pick in that area regardless of tactics (not including Cantwell or Lawrence) Raskin has been mind numbingly over rated from day 1, Cifuentes looks awful…sorry I’m not giving a 24 year old international a year to settle when that mob have guys from Japan hitting the ground running…and Jack looking well past his peak.

Douglas Innes

He has to get 2-3 years simply has to , I've said this on other pods if I changed my car every year it would piss my wife off and its costly likewise if she changed our living room decor id get pissed off ....... he has to get time no ifs no buts

Liam Johnson

He slows us down because Goldson takes 4 or 5 touches before giving him the ball.
