It's time for Rangers to get the passports back out as we head to the familiar surroundings of Prague, and a Sparta side that will provide a different challenge to our previous encounters.

Alex, Steven and Hoggy are on hand for the Preview.

Fancy watching 3 men with varying stages of grey hair?

I love the preview but Hoggy takes about half an hour to say a 10 second point.

Scott Tolmie

Goldson had a poor game, wow we were watching different games

Craig

Having to play musical chairs with the European squads is why we need to prioritise signing Scottish talent. If we'd signed Max Johnston instead of Sterling that would have opened up an extra space for Yilmaz or whoever. The open hostility towards Barisic is a little tiresome for me.

Gordon Reid

This and the CroPod seem to cut off a little bit early. Just in the middle of the summing up at the end then its finished

Russ

Great pod lads. Little mention of the press on Saturday, thought Stevie would be all over that ha! I'd take a draw rn for tomorrow but a win would be brilliant, a good performance despite the result and I think we'll all be happy.

greg dunlop

I think hoggy is quite refreshing. I like the 3 regulars but this season has been nice with a few new voices from time to time

JM

Hoggy’s comeback on Stevie for his Facebook maw comments regarding Borna were spot on - cannot stand these brainless and baseless attacks on our own squad.

Gregg

Chicken goujon things were decent on Saturday - nae pies left in the club deck

Alistair Simpson

The absolute love in for Lundstram on Saturday is mind boggling to me.

Allan Campbell

The Goldson point is spot on . He needs up graded he's a player that the manager will look to move on .he's a player that thinks he's top class when he's miles off it .pre Madonna

Kris

Love the pod lads 👍

Graeme Homer

Stevie can you reign it in with this pish about Borna being a shitebag. Guy played through a back and hip injury for us under Gerrard and missed the World Cup because of it and has continued problems after it. Desser didn’t have to move lmao! He had to cleverly fake a shot to create the space to roll it in.

Craig

Sick of the myth that he shat it from the penalty shoot out in Seville being repeated as fact. He was clearly distraught going off the park that night and missed the cup final a few days later.

Graeme Homer

Yip. We’re told by David to be civil keep the abuse to a minimum etc. They’ve started to ban people but podders can continually spout their abuse and it’s ok.

Alan Reid

Lol Stevie just calling a Rangers player a shitebag and Immediately in the next section Hoggie saying we shouldn't be abusing our team including the comments on this pod, which is it? Think Barisic clearly injured and vindicated by missing the Sparta game (doubt its due to "shitting it".

Hoggy

Which is it? I stand by what I said. I don’t talk for multiple people (and challenged some comments)

Hendi

Absolute nonsense being spoken about Barisic! He's played in world cup, euros, champions league but he supposedly "shat himself" when facing Hibs at Ibrox? Are you seriously suggesting he feigned injury? Players get injured, they don't choose when it happens. The idea that Yilmaz (who himself is continually injured) is going to keep him banished from the side is ridiculous based on the evidence so far. Who needs enemies when you have friends like this?

Greg

Spot on mate, considering the abuse Alex has taken it's surprising it's been allowed on this particular podcast for so long.

John Palmer

Yilmaz like Dessers and Lammers is absolutely dog awful and have never seen the fascination with him. He can't stay fit and when he's fit he plays negative football and never takes any players on, Barisic does. The recruitment for years has been rancid and something Bisgrove needs to make that a priority now he's done with the Managerial appointment.

Steven Harrigan

No, I'm suggesting he has the heart of the tin man. It's simply my opinion and you are entitled to yours. No issue. You sure watch a lot of international football for a man upset at 1 minute and 20 seconds of international chat on the previous pod.

littleboyblu

100% agree with Alex on Lammers v Hibs. I thought he had a good game. Won the ball and passed for Raskin goal, passed to Cantwell for Dessers goal, stuck a great ball through for Dessers shot and eventual Sima goal. Ok he missed a sitter and hit the post but he was in the position. I know it’s only one game but all the players have a clean slate and we should judge them from now under the new boss and his style of play.

Kev Armstrong

I think a lot of people like Yilmaz just because he isn’t borna. I think we need 2 new left backs.

Craig

Fair enough, didn't know that. Broader point stands, though!

David Craig

First time I’ve watched live on YouTube and seen everyone’s faces 😂 why has Steven’s head got hoggys heads voice. And why has hoggys head got Steven’s heads voice 🥴😂

Gregg

Have to disagree John - what I see is yilmaz driving forward (both inside and outside) and also being willing to play passes forward (both inside and outside). Fitness is a major concern for him though. Barasic doesn’t take people on and is a bit of a one trick pony - the trick being a pretty good one in his crossing is superb. Never risks a pass though and far too many backward passes - Croatia seem to be seeing that too.

Gregg

Would prefer we get in a left centre back first - souttar isn’t as good as goldson and neither he nor Davies are good enough for the left centre back position.

Spoon

Issue with Lundstrum is his natural game seems to be slow things down and keep control when we need he opposite. I personally haven’t seen the upturn others have but he is as a bit more positive with his use of the ball. The issue I have with him is like many others his peaks and troughs are too extreme. He can be excellent but next game he will be turgid and there seems no way to level him out and get some consistency. Like a lot of others (like recent managers) he might be doing well for a few games but a slip is always just over the horizon.

Angus Mackay

Great pod, lads. Surely in a list of things Scott Wright expected to be compared to in his career, a cockroach in the wake of a nuclear apocalypse couldn’t have been very high up 😆

Jock Paterson

Steven sounds absolutely sick. Hope for all we are on the up - this time! 💙
