Comment spot on. Nobody is fooled that the manager can solve a lot of the core problems just through coaching but hopefully we are seeing signs that he is getting a clear message across to them and I have to say I haven’t disagreed with any of his comments either in tone or content. It’s fair to be unimpressed with the majority of regulation time performance and still credit the fighting spirit and bit of quality at the end. At times a hard watch but what an ending to a game and why you love football. Let’s hope we kick on a little bit each game and soon find ourselves in a better place, might take a few signings to really make a change.

The lads just need to give it f***ing everything in the next 4 up to the intl break, get the wins and have a couple of days off before spending the week on the training pitch with the new manager. I was fearing for him for 90 minutes, still am a wee bit.

I agree to an extent,David but I still don’t think there’s any excuse for starting Lammers and Dessers today and the manager has got out of jail big time wit that decision …Danilo could quite easily have started and Wright or Jack could have played instead of Lammers.

Wright gives you more than Lammers ever will…and Jack could have played with Cantwell pushing up were Lammers played….pretty basic if it gets they 2 out the team…shouldn’t matter what they cost,they’re not his players so he owes them nothing

If Cantwell had done that, we’d have needed a right attacker, not a midfielder. Wright won’t do anything, he never does. We have three years of evidence of it. Just because the others aren’t very good doesn’t make him any use. McCausland I’d start though, and obviously Danilo.

Taking the first 89 mins out of the equation (if you can) that late winner was one of those moments that we all follow the club for. Hopefully they can use it to kick on now. Every time Tav seems to be done he pulls a moment or 2 out of his arse to mask the obvious decline Still have massive concerns ahead of the rematch next Sunday. Today should mark the end of the Lammers and Dessers experiment. Yilmaz was badly exposed defensively which is something I don’t think we had really seen yet despite our fears over his lack of height

Not sure what McCausland has to do to start ahead of Lammers and Wright tbh, both are absolutely chronic. If we're going to struggle this season at least we can aid the development of one or two youngsters in the mean time.

I respectfully disagree…I’m not a big fan of Wright but he has more attributes than Lammers….Raskin ,Lundstram and Jack could have played as a midfield 3 with a combination of Cantwell,Danilo and Sima up top…or Cantwell as an attacking midfielder with the young boy out wide…I’ll never be convinced that he had to play they 2

Strangely, I think we’ll win comfortably next week. I don’t think Hearts are very good (which would have made a defeat even worse). That’s assuming we’ll be a bit better, right enough.

Yeh I’d agree, middle to front they are honking. Good #9 with a bit of presence about him, more than we had in first half. Too many Hampden nightmares in recent memory may have clouded my judgement 🥲 each game in isolation and all that

Present Danilo with chances, he will score a barrowload for us. I’ve already forgotten the first 87 minutes. We just need to keep winning until January. Hopefully our new manager can then bring in some fresh blood. We desperately need it. I’ve had it with a lot of this team.

Unfortunately, I have my doubts as well Gary. What a monumental waste of money spent over the last 18 months. This team needs ripped apart. I have no idea how we will fund it?! One rebuild after an another. .

Dessers and Lammers are 2 men down. Play Cantwell in Lammers position and Danilo for Dessers. Play Cifu or Jack where Cantwell plays.

Lammers will be one of these guys that is magic in training - good technique in all the small sided games. He has a great first touch and quick feet but he just seems to go nowhere after receiving the ball/ beating a man. Utterly bizarre. You’d love him on your fives team

They do that on a regular basis and have won 12 titles from the last 13 and throw 5 trebles in there aswell,that’s why it’s more impressive when they do it….We do it once in a blue moon and have 2 trophies in 13yrs,one of them being done in empty stadiums….that’s the difference between the 2.
