Solid enough performance but that pitch would get football stopped. 90 minutes watching players guessing which way the ball will bounce.

First goal chop was fair. Dessers has to do better to stay onside there. First penalty was fortunate too, although Mcausland had a good game. The second goal chop seemed very very harsh. Thought we could’ve had 4 or 5 goals today easily. But will always take 3 points away on that surface.

The problem with VAR isn’t VAR, it’s poor standards of refereeing. Sima didn’t foul anybody today, and that should’ve been picked up and overturned. It was a good goal. Really important to get to the international break with the points gain still in tact and a positive record to build on. That pitch was a dogs dinner, and the Kilmarnock pitch is just as bad. Maybe if they didn’t keep protecting Doncaster and co, we could hire a proper CEO for the league who knows how to negotiate deals, because that’s the real cause of the problem. However, the SPFL is full of Lawelll sycophants, so don’t expect positive e change anytime soon. I’ve believed for a while that Rangers just tell the SPFL they are going to do their own TV deals, go out and do them and show the SPFL up for what they are. Benfica went to court and gained their own control over their TV rights, so Rangers should be exploring this as well. Otherwise nothing is going to change.

What I can never understand is that although everyone knows the games on these pitches are going to be shit Sky keep choosing them to show live. Certainly not a good look to enhance the brand and showcase the league.

Always happy with 3 points at Livi and the thing that’s impressed me the most is the amount of chances we have been creating and the intensity we’re playing at….But I rest my case regarding Cantwell,he WILL cost us dear in a big game..absolutely no need to get involved AGAIN.

I totally agree. Viewer numbers override any thoughts on quality. We had an opportunity in Scotland when there was only one plastic pitch in the league. The 11-1 majority did the typically Scottish thing of constantly moaning about the plastic pitches then doing absolutely nothing when the opportunity to get rid of them arose. We’re on a par with the Irish and Welsh leagues. Ridiculously small pond with 2 behemoth fish in residence.
