You hear fans in England say Scottish football is non-league standard and we all defend the jobbers when that happens, but honestly, that was brutalist football from Livingston today. It was like watching a route one tactic with a 'get rid' instruction for the defenders on football manager come to life. 3 points, clean sheet, great fan display - that'll do me.

I’ve watched it again and I’m going to give him a bit of leeway for the incident…Cantwell tries a needless trick(one of my pet hates),loses the ball to the boy then he pushes him over with 2 hands which then leads to the Livi boy kicking out and if he catches Cantwell if his leg is planted then he’s getting a serious injury so can see why he’s reacted that way.

Mind a few weeks ago when there was literally hundreds of comments - 7 games unbeaten and there’s a handful, with a decent amount talking about a nothing yellow card. We are a strange lot - it’s like we want to be miserable.

That’s true for some but generally it’s more that people need a vent when they are angry. After a solid win, most go off and enjoy a relaxing Sunday, watch the English games etc. Lots of comments usually means a very big win or a very poor result.

In regards to our 1st pen, yep i’d be furious if that was given against us so aye its a massive dive but how they didn’t allow his goal to stand was baffling, pretty annoying when you bet -2 Rangers lol. Overall delighted with the managers start to his reign, its been almost perfect and in the one game we dropped points it was a very good result. Onto the sheep in a fortnight.

Anither good First half, comfortable second. Never looked in bother, thought balogun marshalled a difficult opponent in bounce really well, special mention to mcausland who looked really sharp, can go either way when attacking which is great. Think the cantwell thing is defo a frustration with his minutes as well
