Gregg

Loved the Willie Waddell song Alan

Kev Roberts

Radiohead creep one of my favourite songs 🎵 great start to the show

Charlie Nicolson

Hurtling through the Silesian countryside as I listen.

Alan Bradley

Much better than sitting in Buchanan galleries car park waiting on the grandson wakening, before we return a high chair to John Lewis. 😂

John Walker

Very underrated goal that winner from Redford. I remember the dust in the gers end after we scored.

Johnnie Mitchell

Nice wee history lesson Alan and story from you about the WW song. Cheers

Alan Bradley

Definitely, actually underrated and hampered by being played in several positions at various times. Also remember a nice goal in the league cup semi 2nd leg v DUFC, 84ish?

john cowden

Does anyone else remember the controversy about the jock brown commentary in that 81 cup final? The uncut version where he swore when the Milne goal was chopped off Or have I imagined it ? Love the older years ! Great stuff !

Alan Bradley

Not something I remember John, but wouldn’t be surprised. Similarly remember Ian St John during an Aberdeen cup final when they scored. Neutral pundits, methinks not.

John Walker

He was having a love in with Nicholas at the time. I've only ever watched the highlights as I was there but wouldn't surprise me.

William Hughes

The Ian Redford goal was the loudest roar I heard The Rangers support at Hampden. The Willie Waddell song is brilliant, also the story that went with it Alan.

john cowden

Like you I was at game and it wasn’t live on tv, think a Saturday 3pm Kick off I just recall controversy at the time

Joe Burns

Alan, Deedle was my Dad's joint favourite player, with Willie Woodburn. I sort of recall that song as a wee snapper.

David Baillie

Great show Alan. That’s the first time I’ve heard that Willie Waddell song. Brilliant. Ach, nostalgia’s not what it used to be eh?

Steffen McAndrew

Listening to the line up of 91-92 against Aberdeen...can you imagine the damage they would do to teams nowadays? Great show as always. I get the feeling you have a softspot for Peter Gabriel...

Steffen McAndrew

I love the show for introducing me to music that I wouldn’t normally listen to. But I draw the line at Nirvana; I’ve never quite understood the appeal of that band. I can’t make out the words they “sing”. (Rant over).😂

Alan Bradley

Fair do’s Steffen, on the music front. I like to try and mix it up recognising that we are a mixed bunch, so different artists and genres throughout. It’s actually been enjoyable for me learning about artists I wouldn’t normally listen to. Clearly Genesis related would be my preference, but suspect the series might end after 3 weeks and two listeners. 😂

David Herd

Hateley's second at Pittodrie won't be in the top 50 goals countdown, no doubt, but it will be a better goal than many that are in it.
