Andy sawers

I actually hate this team at times. Never mind aberdeen being more up for it, we look like we are shit feart of them

Alan Baxter

Bottlers bottled it, there you go, summary done. Spend the rest of your Sunday watching EPL

Mark Rennie

Just proves this team doesn't have the minerals when the pressures on

C. J

Harrigan is right, Borna is an absolute shitebag.

Paul Robertson

The back 4 and Lundstram will see another manager off soon if something doesn’t change

John Smith

Plenty of sleep, water and soup David

Angus MacDonald

How often over the last few years barring 2/3 exceptions have Rangers just when we think we are getting somewhere, building some momentum, find a way to make an arse of it. We are the masters of it. Door left open for us against a terrible team and we couldn’t go and take the opportunity they left us yesterday. Scunnered

William George Bell

These players will never win the league, Goldson, Barisic, Lundstrum, are just 3 that need moved on before we start with the Lammers, Dessers etc. Gutless losers.

james whyte

Everytime Lundstrum gives the ball away and does that wee jump I throw up. I am chronically ill.

David Mackie

Bottlers, we can change the manager the style etc but unfortunately there are a group of nailed starters in our squad who have demonstrated time and again they lack the ruthlessness and desire to win at all costs, its frustrating to keep seeing them short change us. They simply dont have it plus fed up listening to the same rubbish excuses, we will learn, we will keep going, etc etc.

Miguel Sanchez

A concern is Beale wasted so much money that we're having a replace multi million pound signings within 6 months of them arriving and get replacements for positions that were neglected in the summer and the question is: with what money? It's hardly like we'll be able to recoup any where close to the majority spent.

mark wyper

Clement needs to put a stop to the slow starts it's season after season the thing is that we actually play good football when we move the ball quickly, we did it a few times today and looked impressive

Spoon

Comment spot on, thought Goldson and Lundstrum again were poor, negative and pedestrian. Not the fan of Goldson others are but today he won nothing (bar the pen) in air or ground and his passing was dire. Lundstrum, see Goldson. Bright points were Cifu playing a far greater part. Boy has a great touch, was good in possession and unlike others passed to a blue jersey. Danilo again seemed a bit isolated and I don’t think any of the front three had a great day. Don’t like saying it but we could do with a Shinnie …..

David Hanlon

Seriously I couldn't see us getting a point. The only thing is we didn't lose any more ground. But seriously Aberdeen are a joke. They only play well against us.

Rona Bluebell

David, you sound like many of us feel. Curled up in bed is the cure for illness and disappointing Rangers play.

William Hughes

Didn't win much or second balls in the midfield. Despite not being fluent we had good opportunities to score in both halves. Chance to pull points back missed. Too many off it.

Doogz

If Ridvan cannot take Barasic place now he needs punted in January. Both centre half’s were like schoolboys defending that goal today. Sima has been one of our better players this season but miles off it today, Matondo done more in 5 mins than he contributed in the whole game. 5 points dropped against pure dross.

KAD87

Seems like the players would much rather chuck away any hope of a title race Vs the likes of Aberdeen than put themselves in the position where they have to show up Vs our rivals in a pivotal old firm. If they want a title race, they don’t show it.

james whyte

17 wins from 37 at The Sheep. Since 2000 I think. Shambles.

Jim McCutcheon

Spot on take on today's match guys, massive opportunity missed yet again , hope yer well soon David 👍

Luke

Aberdeen obviously raise their game against us, the worrying thing is we can’t match it. The experienced Rangers players in that team should hang their heads in shame. There’s a culture of letting the fans down when it matters, that’s bred from the experienced players being fucking shitebags.

David

David's post mate video summed it up in a few minutes.

Andrew Hind

Definitely need to get the back 4 sorted, losing simple goals too many times

Alan Anderson

Guys. 3 blokes with the same opinion gets very boring. What’s about someone to challenge your nonsense? It’s not the ‘old guard’ that’s the problem, it’s the fact that the ‘new guard’ brought in since 55 have been fucking hopeless. Cifuentes, lundstrum, Dessers, Lammers, Lawrence, Ridvan, Balogun, Sterling, Dowell - and yes even sima and Danilo are no better than those they’ve replaced. It’s the signing policy that’s the problem. It’s a lazy, cliched and frankly fucking boring argument blaming the ‘old guard’ all the time.

Gordon

I don’t share all the pessimism… apart from initial 15 mins only 1 team in it. They were never in it after they scored. If we cld start taking our chances we would have won game out the park today. Yes we have issues but some of play today was best this season. We have played lot worse and won at Aberdeen.

Callum Gordon

I thought Cifuentes grew into the game but early on Lundstram was sluggish . If we get an offer for Cantwell in January I wouldn’t be displeased, he isn’t performing and attracts too many negatives .

Alexander Bruce Crombie

I’m surprised anybody could be surprised by this result, the squad are serial losers. As soon as even the mildest challenge comes our way they buckle.

Mike Sim

The core of this team doing what they do - once again. Even as I approach 50 I want a team of players I can idolise but to honest it’s tough to even like them. Time and time again they’ve let us down. Galling.

Gary Shaw

Said it for ages,Cantwell flatters to deceive and is a flat track bully…been here almost a year and I have yet to see him take a big meaningful game by the scruff of the neck

Colin

Hi Alan, Off the top of my head on the pod Lammers and Dessers were called out as not being good enough. Questions were raised about Ridvan. I called out that Sima had a quiet / poorer game than usual. We talked about how Balogun should have done better. You’ve mentioned a bunch of players that didn’t even play today, I’m not sure why we would talk about them in a post match. The old guard are absolutely a problem. Admittedly not the only one but a big one.

Rona Bluebell

Well, I didn’t find it boring. You can always volunteer to go on, they do routinely ask.

C72

Reality is, It's both the old and the new. The new get leniency because they're new but the old get it the most because we have had to endure season after season of them bottling it and people are rightfully sick of it. How are we expected to win a league with the exact same back 4 that has bottled it countless times before and relied on McGregor to pull out wonder saves every time they make a mistake?

Steve Clark

Since 2000 we have only won 17 out of 37 matches played v Aberdeen at pittodrie.

michael Cochrane

Again the same players letting us the fans down ! Paid very well to choke time and time again ! Sorry but the so called seniors can gtf

Alan Anderson

We’ve hardly lost any goals since clement came in. It’s not the defence that’s the problem. We don’t score enough goals. We shouldn’t need to rely on a pen to get a point.

Spoon

Absolutely one of the few who constantly found a man with the ball and in a midfield that did nothing he at least did that. I get the desperation to write off every player signed but in an afternoon of dross he was noticeably better than most others for me.

Gregg

He done okay - not sure he is disciplined enough to play that role though. Hopefully a start of some improvement from him

Spoon

Fair point but compared to many today the basic ability to take in a ball, hold and pass to a blue jersey was noticeable when the old guard were back to slackness, back passing and constantly giving the ball away. Not sure he is meant to be the deep or middle guy suspect he’s another who would prefer to be further forward. His distribution and ability to go forward was what I noticed as Lundstrum and Goldson repeatedly did the opposite while being within 2 yards of each other. I wasnt putting him up for MOTM! But I like the boy and not keen to jump the all are shite bandwagon just yet.

Doogz

Danilo had a poor game today, but he’s been a massive threat for the last month, quite why Alan is attacking guys who weren’t even playing is beyond me.

Callum Dinnen

Cantwell is enormously over-rated by our support on the back of a couple of months good performances last season when there was nothing ok the line.

Gregg

His hall retention has been poor - much improved today but perhaps a bit safe. Think Lundstrhm was dropping in more than he has recently as Aberdeen had 2 up front

Stace1ofthePeople

Missed a lot of the second half which was probably a good thing as poor performances and dropped points from this team really do spoil my afternoon. Unfortunately on too many occasion. I suppose the fact of the matter is certain players are proving they don't have the mentality or consistency however out of context..PC results have been good and a draw at Pittodrie isn't that bad a result considering they are a bit of a bogey team and is a harder away game for us. Come the end of the season it may be an important point. However giving the fact we have already lost 3 games this season , we literally have no room for error. Disappointing, bit of a mixed bag of feelings. Also not as confident about the LCF .

Samuel Campbell

Is Sterling not able to play left back ? If both Barisic and Ridvan aren't up to it , maybe have to try something else

Gary Shaw

Not sure if it’s a generational thing or just the desperate need for a hero after years of failure…Raskin was “going all the way to the PL” after a decent second half against some Swiss dumplings…

Spoon

Possibly but this is classic Lundstrum few decent game driven revert to being a shadow to the CBs. My main issue with him was the negative passing and movement coupled with constantly turning over possession, not helped by Goldson doing the same. Of the two CBs stepping out and going forward I think big Leon is better at rot, prefer to see Goldson stay home. A bad day at the office where they all looked a bit burnt out and nothing came off. Cantwell needs to be careful he doesn’t end up Josh Windass reincarnated…..

Stace1ofthePeople

Our LB position is a concern . CM is a concern. Jack unreliable and cifu has not shown anything to show us he is the man to take us forward. Every CHs all injury prone except goldson. Can't do it all on his own game after game, minute after minute game every 3 days almost. Both wings we have options but are they good enough and consistent enough? wright , mccausland matondo and sima? CF roofe and dessers not reliable and/or good enough. 🤣🤣its a puzzle all right

Gary Shaw

The saddest part in all this,is I didn’t even expect us to win today and I’m not in the least bit surprised at the performance…

Jim Milne

The last time I remember the carpod all having different opinions the comment section went into meltdown. Can't please everyone.

Bob MacCallum

Harsh comments on Cantwell. He didn't dive but made a meal of being fouled. Watch it again. Very clear angles show the reality. Number 23 uses his arm to push Cantwell in the back. That's a FOUL. It's called FOOTBALL , not American football.

Jim Milne

Problem Clement has is that he has no leverage in dropping players, he has no quality to replace dross like Barasic when his replacement Ridvan can't last more than 2 games and has no understanding with the rest of the defence. This will unfortunately be our norm until the new manager has the next 2 transfer windows

Alan Anderson

The fact that they are not playing is a BIG part of the problem and reinforces my point that the signings since 55 have just not been good enough. Anyway, original point stands Colin - contesting opinions would be nice on the pod. The H&H WhatsApp group-speak complaining about the ‘usual suspects’ is getting dull mate. A different perspective would be nice.

John Davidson

A predictable reversion to type from players who only seem to produce under little pressure. Ably supported by some very poor newer recruits. Looks like the last month was no more than a new manager bounce.

Gary Shaw

Pretty much how I felt,David…I didn’t even get that rush that you usually get when you find out they have dropped points because I just knew deep down we wouldn’t go to Pittodrie and do the buisness.

Billy Forrester

If Barisic is our left back and no one can displace him we have serious issues. He is rank rotten and a huge problem in our side, he needs to be gone in January

Andrew Whiteside

Thought we were unlucky not to win. This has to be the last time we pass up a chance to gain ground in the title race. Agree that players have a tendency to choke when the pressure is applied. Big Phil has his work cut out to get this squad believing they can be champions.

Tamus

At the start of the season Jack should have been asked, are you planning to continue with Scotland. When he answered YES, he should have been released.

Tamus

Also Habitual losers in our team need moved on, Hall of Fame Captain with 1 league title to his name in 8 years is as inspirational as a wet lettuce. Erm um erm um obviously we're disappointed - fuq off with your loser pish

Allan Airth

I’m afraid guys we have a core of the team who are shitebags. They simply didn’t want to win that game today. The sooner the serial losers are moved on, the better.

Graham Espie

It’s not mentality. It’s ability.

Graham Espie

Am I the only one who thought playing a high line against a team that can only score in the fashion they did was a tactical error? Our backline was in their half for the first 30 mins.

Graham Espie

Offside traps don’t work if your starting position is in the opposition half.

Gregg

It’s been a while - do you get anxious when you haven’t been able to trot this out for a few weeks?

Gregg

They didn’t want to win the game? Talk me through that

Tamus

You've lost me, when did we move into top spot over the last few weeks?

Ryan Stewart

Remember Jose Mourinho’s famous “football heritage” rant from a few years ago about Man Utd? Today just about sums up our football heritage. A squad full of players who let us down time and time again when it matters. Summed up by guys like Barisic and Lundstram. Play well for a few weeks, start to get the fans back onside and then when it comes to a pressure moment, almost to a man they fold. Every big game is the same story regardless of who the manager is. Create chances, miss sitters and then hand the opposition a gift of a goal. Every time Celtic leave the door open for us, this team run directly into the wall.

Tamus

"Whenever anybody puts a bit of pressure on us in Scotland or gets in our face it seems to affect us too much. At the start of the season teams dropped off us and we were scoring four or five goals, but now they smell blood straight away and put us under pressure. We are not good enough domestically to react to that" there's your loser hero's top bantz

Gary Shaw

It’s just like the 90s in reverse…Celtic really only ever slip up when they have a big enough gap and even at that,80% of the time we mess it up…a lot of our fans are too blind or stupid to even notice it…lost count of the times my Celtic supporting mates uttered the words , “youse aren’t even that good either” then we would just churn it out when it really mattered….now we say it about them and yes,it’s partly true but at the end of the day, they are better than us and get the job done when it really counts and that’s all that matters in this part of the world.

Ryan Stewart

aye. It’s speaks volumes that when my brother messaged me yesterday saying that they had dropped points it barely even registered with me. Just have absolutely zero faith in this team to put a run together and win when it matters most.

Kirk Guthrie

Same players fucking up in the same way. Same Goldson blaming everyone else. Same tactic of shelling balls into the box. What a fucking disappointment this team is

Graeme Homer

Sorry but I’ve gotta disagree with a few points. The manager has to take blame, if Beale, Gio got blamed for losses so does he, he picked them and boy he picked it wrong today. Cifu had a better game than you’re given him credit for, he drove us in the second half, especially given you thought some had good games. Borna wasn’t great but him going back is because the three behind the strikers were stinking playing musical statues or hide and seek behind a man given him no option as Danilo has three cbs on him. How Cantwell and Lawrence stayed on for as long as they did is a failure on the manager, they should have been hooked quicker. McAusland and Matondo shown in their cameos more and you’ve gotta wonder why McAusland didn’t start. Lammers got on ahead of Dessers not because he’s shite but Clement clearly wanted someone in there to track back and do defensive work rather than go for the win and get another striker on.

Gregg

When you are so entrenched in your view - you just can’t wait to trot out the same pish any time things don’t go your way. Brain rot

Gary Shaw

Cifu is Coullibaly in disguise…the reason he didn’t lose the ball as much was there was barely a pass over 20yds…guy doesn’t even look like a footballer

Andrew Mundt

You're not very clever are you? No involvement in the goal we conceded. Scored. Would've had at least one assist if we had players who could finish. What else were you looking for from our RB today?

Andrew Mundt

So you'd rather they lied about how they felt just so there was a difference of opinion? Very Sutton-esque.

David Kiltie

I agree Bob, the video shows a clear push but Cantwell needs to cut out the theatrics.

Spoon

Guy has played about 5 games for us and was playing internationals mid week so think your way off. Passing 20 yards to our own players beats shelling it 70 to nobody all day, his job was to keep the ball and move it forward and he’s one of the few who did his job. Slaying yet another young player who’s barely in the country and barely had a game isn’t for me. The guys who have been here years and continually failed over seasons are the issue. As I have mentioned before the club seem to have lost the ability to actually develop a player and the fans have certainly lost any patience to let a guy grow into the league. Matondo was dire last year and being handed out now we are desperate to get him back. Conversely Lundstrum has had about 6 good games in 2 years but was on his second coming until today. I get folk are annoyed but let’s be realistic, the boy did very little wrong in a game where the majority did little right. Another world hot prospect written off and ruined by Rangers ? We will soon not be able to attract these guys at all as any with half a brain will see coming here as a stall to them not a platform.

Tamus

More than 1 league title in 8 years from captain Failure would be nice.

Ian Milne

Of course David would go to CHINA and come back with a flu.

Colin Gardner

Have to agree Luke. We should be getting fucked right in about them in the first 10 minutes then when they see we are up for then take control of the game.It sickens me seeing they're jobbers celebrating winning a tackle and our players going in half hearted.

Gary Shaw

NONE of our players are consistently good or even good 80% of the time, maybe with the exception of Tav,who weirdly enough, gets more criticism than anyone else….thats the difference between us and our rivals across the city, every single season they have 4/5 players who has a good season…that’s the reason they win almost everything and we’re always the nearly men.

Gareth Williams

Goldsons jersey, a fucking sail in the Americas cup - brilliant!🤣

Martin Boyd

Don’t agree with Hoggy about our start , he thinks we came out slow , I think we came out way too frantic, rushing passes , playing long. We knew they would come out with their long ball crap and we did the same , what we should have done is kept the bloody ball slowed it down and controlled the game. We have much better players , don’t play their game.

stephen

Clement needs to remove the scar tissue from that team as a priority. As a consequence some decent players will need to go but that's just what has to happen now. I suppose that's the "new manager bounce" over.

Heart and Hand

Lawrence was at the heart of most of our good stuff. Can’t agree at all there. Cifu was okay, think I said that. And no, it’s not a case of a manager always picking the wrong team when we don’t win. The players bottle big games regularly under several managers.

Jonny Burnside

Granted, I’m probably coming from a different position on this to most others, but my positive from it is at least we created more than enough chances to win the game. I’m not for a moment suggesting that’s good enough, but most of the other games that we’ve shown a mentality issue, we haven’t really looked like scoring. Scant conciliation at the minute, but perhaps not just as doom and gloom either…

Martin Sutherland

Thought the manager had a mare. Stood and watched that guff for 70 minutes before responding. Just as culpable

Doug Young

Not sure again why Borna is the goto No.1 culprit here. Lundstram, Sima, Cantwell and Goldson were all far worse. I just didn't think we were going to get anything yesterday, even after half an hour. But we didn't play terrible. Lawrence and Cifuentes had the midfield sewn up and played some good stuff. If we a had a striker worth their salt, different story. I think we need to rethink this whole "not Rangers class" idea and basically get someone who scores lots. Shankland wouldn't be the worst shout. These hot and cold performances from the likes of Sima are just painful.

Hamish Rankin

I can’t agree on Lawrence, thought he was poor and we need Cantwell playing in that position

Spoon

Thanks for your input Gary, not my own view of a promising young player but I sense you’re not a fan of him or likely to be one in the future 👍🏻

Gary Shaw

I tend to agree with you…for me Lawrence has always looked laboured even prior to his injury and it was his lack of awareness and mobility that created the first chance Aberdeen had yesterday…We are so one paced in the central areas with the likes of Cifu,Lawrence,Lundstram and guys like that will never win you titles

Danny

.
