In a nutshell the manager thinks Lammers is a better 10 than Cantwell! 2 wingers on the bench, start one and Cantwell as a 10! Unreal!! Disbelief

Iain watson

Serious questions needing asked of the manager for the last 2 games

John Smith

Im so fed up of this garbage season on season. Scunnered lads. Bloody scunnered. This squad is brutal and Beale has left us buggered.

Jim Milne

I'll listen to this tomorrow. I'm too angry tonight.

Jim Milne

Beale has taken us back to the standard of squad that Gerrard inherited. It's even more angering that they are so bad this season, and fans just waiting to turn on Brenda and we are letting them win this league. I could write more but I'm too pissed off.

David Campbell

Manager got his team horrendously wrong gutted tonight. The cup final is 50-50

Doug Young

Nobody was good tonight but I thought Tav had a shocker. Lammers and Cifu I didn't expect anything from but each occasion we get to make strides our Captain doesn't show up. Penalties and worldies against Ross County don't get you anywhere.

Paul

The manager saying there has been progress by saying last time we played that mob we lost and tonight we didn't. Dear me. Alarm bells right there.

KMS

I thought the manager was looking at the strength of his players and play to them?, clearly not in the case of Cantwell

Graham Leatherbarrow

The initial manager uplift is over, leopards don’t change their spots sadly. Two chances blown yet again

Allan Osborne

Dreadful performance against a team that at best is mid table SPL level. The manager has had a 'mare tonight and so have most of the players Butland, McAusland and Lundstram (who wasn't that bad tbh) excepted.

Ryan Stewart

Every bit as bad as the away leg that. I actually didn’t mind the Cantwell sub, it’s the sort of ruthlessness we need a lot more of. My only criticism would be that Lammers and Cifuentes weren’t following him to the bench. The pair of them wouldn’t look out of place at a Soccer Aid game. Clement has two choices. He is either ruthless and bins the guys who are clearly not good enough, or he suffers the same fate as those who went before him

Graham Leatherbarrow

LCF now huge, for Cantwell fans his individual play lost ball for goal, Big Phil wants team players, final warning id say

Gary Shaw

Yeah, but being top scorer in a run to a European final and goals against Braga,Dortmund,Leipzig do and throw in a playoff winner against Galatasaray into that along with a goal against Servette that got us through to the playoffs…maybe getting us back into the tie briefly against PSV or stepping up twice at Parkhead last season when nobody else did….think you should maybe be having a look at the millions in wages/transfers spent on midfielders and strikers rather than a guy that cost £200k from Wigan…

Gary Shaw

If he bins the guys that aren’t good enough then we don’t have a team 🤣

William Alston

The lammers thing is correct and on the night it's a poor performance and result. However there is a massive issue at the club in terms of the football structure. Where is the DOF and the structure behind him to allow for the changes required from January onwards to allow the manager to build this new squad we need

Mark

I don't think we will be seeing either Lammers or Todders starting this Sunday.

Gary Shaw

Total fraud of a player…there’s a reason why a team as bad as Norwich didn’t put up much of a fight for a guy that wasn’t getting a game for them.

Doug Young

Yeh, agree. But trying to look at the commonality here in what we have come to expect from this team. The Venn diagram of players involved in each of these shit shows gets smaller and smaller, that's all. Tav is not that guy any more.

Alek K

Going to take 3 seasons at least to come close to fixing this mess of a squad. It's been absolutely butchered at a high expense, that transfer window wasn't a regular window for us that was big money we spent on players that was supposed to carry us for years to come. We've been set back years instead.

Nom De Ploom

Spot on. Said elsewhere that the only thing that makes sense is if Cantwell's told him Lammers is gash & that's where he should be playing & it's now a battle of egos instead of playing the best players in their best positions. Not a great look for anyone. If he genuinely thinks Lammers is better... just shoot me now.

Gary Shaw

He wasn’t great tonight, but of all the players when Tav is people’s first point of failure, dislike call it whatever you like then i think it must just be entrenched in you that you simply don’t like the guy…if the guy with 200 odd goal involvements is the main problem then we really do have a problem.

Doug Young

And I should add that Lammers, Sima, Cifu, Cantwell and Davies were also dross tonight. I just keep hearing this "squad bottle it" when the squad's core is smaller and smaller. We can't blame Kent, Morelos and Kamara anymore... haha

Gary Shaw

The majority of the squad are to blame..as I said on a previous post we have CBs who can’t defend no matter what 2 play together…we have a laboured midfield with absolute zero goal threat and our main striker needs about a million chances to score 1 goal…just find it weird that our 31yo RB who has over 100 goals and is our top goalsorer again this season is the one that always takes the brunt of the blame coz he wears a band around his arm.

David Tosh

If this squad, by 1st Jan 2024 has a league cup in the bag and at least 5 pts behind in league then it'll be a miracle

Doug Young

Fair. But I would argue he doesn't get the blame really. Barasic has been one of our less shitey players this season and gets it tight the minute he steps on the park, no matter what he does. You're right, there is a quality vacuum across the board. But I would argue you can't exempt any player from criticism on past performance either. Tav was rubbish tonight. So were others. Tav has been pretty rubbish all season. So have others. Trying to pinpoint the issue is as frustrating as watching the laborious efforts in front of goal. But the game's not that long done. Maybe tomorrow I'll be cheerier, but I'm not convinced the team will be any better.

Gary Shaw

He doesn’t get the blame????..you been to Ibrox the last 5 seasons or been on any Rangers forums?😂….you’re kinda contradicting your own argument…you’re saying you can’t blame one player yet you only criticised Tav in your original post….Borna has the heart of a mouse and is one of the most predictable players on that team that’s why he gets abuse.

Doogz

The Muscat patter is mind numbing.

Tamus

Time to get rid of Habitual losers and elephants in the Room

Michael

Absolutely nonsense, he was our best player for the last half of last season. Had a poor start this season but not a single player was good under beale then he got injured and has only played on the right under clement. So what a player lost the ball 25 yards from the opposition goal, thats what happens. The issue is the reaction of the team of the ball, lundstram standing off and 2 cbs ball watching.

Brian trump

Tav, borna and all the crap Beale brought in need moved on. Manager using Cantwell, who’s out of position, as a scape goat tells me he’s reading the room wrong. Made and arse of it tonight

Gary Shaw

He’s mince, does nothing…an absolute show pony who offers nothing…1 goal this season proves that and half a dozen good game last season against the dross when the league was done just shows he’s a flat track bully…

Michael

Agreed with all you both said. However, whilst Martin is right the players should get us up for the game. I think at the moment we need to give everything from the stands even when we're shite

ali t

Did Cantwell get hooked instead of Lammers for pissing Clement off

Craig Anderson

Too much defence of Cantwell for me. Playing out of position doesn’t excuse how bad he’s been. If he’s as good as he thinks he is he’ll react positively
