Subbing Cantwell wasn’t an admission the manager had got it wrong… it’s a reaction to how his players are playing. He’s a professional footballer who should be more than capable of doing any role the manager asks. Bigger picture Cantwell seems to have a attitude issue

Poor Dessers. Even when he's not playing he's getting flack 😁 To be fair it's easy to mix him and Lammers up as they're both a steaming pile of shite. The mess Beale has left us in is beyond chronic. There's no way we're winning in Spain btw. Galling to think that if we'd beaten Aris home and away we'd have topped the group, but 1 point was all we deserved. Still scunnered 😡

Not sure I agree it was good to see the manager rectify his mistake in starting Cantwell out wide given he compounded his initial mistake by subbing Cantwell not lammers. Also I am not sure Clement would agree he got it wrong last night seeing as he seemed to say it was because Cantwell wouldn’t stay wide/was not following instruction.

Fs obsessed with Dessers that much he’s getting the blame for stuff even when he’s not playing 😂 He’s not great but the whole “I’ve never seen anyone so bad” (even when they’re not playing) is way wide of the mark. There’s been a whole lot worse The biggest problem isn’t our player’s ability its the mentality. There’s not one player in that team that pulls the guy next to him up a level if he’s having a bad game.

We’ll need to sell to buy in January, but I suspect we may loan to buy in the summer or something like that. There isn’t a lot of cash floating about right now. I thought there’d be a contingency fund for such a situation, but I didn’t see the scope for it in the accounts. I’m not sure you can sort out the mess in one or two windows, but we’ll see what this new guy can bring to the table. He’ll probably wonder what he’s agreed to join by Monday.
