Good show guys A few thoughts Who would you want bears to take as the number 1 draft pick (if it remains as is) ? Generally who would you be picking out of this years college qb’s ACC has been weak this season, but if it had been Clemson I reckon they would get in. Didn’t expect FSU to get in Lions bills Vikings I can never take seriously as Super Bowl contenders , (and I mean every season ), you got any other teams great fall into that category ?

If The Bears have the no1 and say a top 8-10 pick, I just can't see us passing on Williams , but would be so Bears to fail in choosing the right QB. Cowboys, fall into that 2nd category for me, good side, but would you trust them to win it?

The consensus #1 JC is Quarterback Caleb Williams from USC. Modern playmaking QB, can do it with arm and legs and create on his own. If they stick with Fields and get him more targets it’s Marvin Harrison Jr from Ohio State. His Dad, yep, you guessed it, is Colts Legend Marvin Harrison. Junior is bigger, stronger and faster. Will be an elite WR. Take either of them with their pick from the Panthers, then a top caliber Offensive Tackle for the trenches with their own pick, probably be around 5 or 6 overall you’d think

The other 2 highly thought of QB’s in this draft class are Drake Maye from North Carolina and Bo Nix (Seriously😅) from Oregon. Aye FSU got a raw deal, but they probably would have got a chasing from Michigan so now they can say they were robbed forever and we’ll never know what might have been in an alternate universe. Claim a Natty if they beat Georgia. Guess there’s comfort in that.

As for Super Bowl pretenders. Suppose you’d have put the Bengals in that category just a couple years ago too, so things can move pretty fast once the wheels are in motion. Maybe we’re looking at the Dolphins that same way. Lions, Bills, Vikes category. As I revised AFC to Ravens and Steven to Chiefs. Why not Miami? Coz we can’t take those candy ass uniforms seriously 😅 Steven’s probably right about Dallas too when push really comes to shove.

As for Dallas I’m older so I remember aikman days rather than romo so yes I rate them higher Agree benglas and fins Bengals go so close but don t do it , still remember boomer coming close Dolphins well if you cannot win with Marino …. Showing my age but I’m a broncos fan because first year watching channel four the y drafted Elway or rather elway said I ain’t joining them colts from Baltimore !

Love these pods. I am a Washington fan since the 80s. My Dad was a Bears fan who adored Walter Payton & as a kid I decided to pick my own team & chose a team that played in the same colour as my school tie for some unknown reason & it stuck. Awful season again for us, just awful. Big changes needed. I can’t see past the Niners for the SB if, a big if, they can keep everyone healthy. Who would be your offensive & defensive MVPs if it was awarded today?

You’ve named 3 QBs but not mentioned Jayden Daniels. I think he will do really well in the NFL. Runs well and at 6”4 he’s a decent size too
