Battered them first half eventually then chose to have practice for the Betis game

If someone can please tell me the difference between Greg taylor tackle and Cifu

Graham Jones

Played okay. We needed the three point to reduce the gap to five, and now they are under pressure going to Rugby Park tomorrow. If we want to win the league then we have to do this at every opportunity. Clancy is a basket case of a referee, but he never needs an excuse when it’s us. It’s all about Thursday now. We have to leave it all on the park against Betis. We are good enough to win, but we haver to be disciplined with the ball.

🤣Sometimes you've just gotta go 'Ok boss' eh? Giving away a soft early / 1st goal has been a continuous problem since 21/22 season started.

Ryan Stewart

Another really poor goal to lose. It seems to be that every goal we concede is a bit of a nonsense. Reacted well though and played well up until the red. I though it was a red personally. Id be screaming for it if it was on a Rangers player, that’s how I tend to judge these things 🤣 Second half dug it out and were never really in any danger. Shot straight at him from range the only save I can remember Butland making. Few chances to score ourselves as well

Allan

Scolded David! The boss may well have a point in this game but for sure we have a bad habit of slow starts way too often for my liking.

We do lose a poor goal at the start of the game but we have the best defence in the league and no team is ever going to go a season without conceding. We need to get better with our forwards scoring and blowing teams away so that losing 1 goal is irrelevant. Which is what I think was going to happen yesterday until the red card as I thought our tails were up heading for half time. I’m not sure it’s a straight red having watched it back, Looked like nothing from where we were sitting in the main stand at the time

PC speaks well in the game, you can agree or disagree with some of his views but there at least always structure and substance to what he’s saying. Convinced if we give him time he will build something special here. Sore one David, almost as bad as that time Adam got chopped down by Stevie G 👀
