Are you as surprised as me that ManU and Chelsea came out as quick against the ESL? Seems strange to show your cards so quickly. I don’t think I am alone in thinking UEFA have a cheek with criticism of the ESL as a money making scheme! It sort of feels we need a change of some sort and a leveller. Whilst I don’t think the ESL will solve that it does give an achievable route to more money for clubs like Rangers. But what do you feel UEFA should do? Could they have an elite competition only featuring the clubs that have won the champions league(not European cup). Even taking place every other year to avoid WC and Euros…. Feel the Europa league and conference league work but the CL is a bit boring now?

They probably came out against the ESL as neither of them are anywhere near consideration for it.

Possibly although based on tv viewership ManU are certainly in the top 20 so I would be surprised if they aren’t in the conversation.

Fair play to Sean Dyche, I'd have him as a contender for manager of the season with Emery tbh. He's probably the one manager in British football who can thrive in the situation at Goodison Park.

I meant to comment this yesterday; Villa remind me of Kilmarnock under Steve Clark in 2018. They've had a tremendous calendar year but they're not title contenders.

Are West Ham a Jack Butland away from top 6 , it seems to be that the keeping position they could immediately improve by signing a quality goalkeeper .
