Great show Alan,happy new year!!

John Walker

Fantastic stuff John and Alan. Just the pick up I needed after Saturday. I was at the 2-0 and 4-2 games so brought back Great memories .

Alan Bradley

Cheers Johnnie, it was certainly tougher than usual recording within an hour of the Parkhead game, but as you say some nice memories to help towards cheering us up. As John said, positives of following Gers always outweighs negatives for us.

David Herd

Souness in that 1987 game was absolutely majestic. The only better performance in a New Year game in my lifetime was Tommy McLean in the 3-0 win in 1975.

Steffen McAndrew

Happy New Year Alan. Finest pod of them all.. Your description of the 86/87 team...those kind of players are exactly what we are currently missing.

john cowden

Little calimeros performance is right up there. He was magnificent that winter into the title run in

Alan Bradley

Especially with the state of the pitch, wee man was a fantastic player, very underrated.

LD

Great start to 2024, thanks for the cheer up

Andy Sladen

Happy new year gents. Another fantastic listen Alan. Had my dad in the car when I was listening to it and he thinks he was at the first game. Laughed his head off at Haffey Drops! He was at the England game when we got battered and always said how bad a keeper he was Will send some requests in the coming weeks 😄

Dougie McAllister

Happy New Year Alan & John great show.... loved your conversation about the 1963 old firm game... never heard the term honey pears before... keep up the good work...

Alan Bradley

Thanks Dougie Clearly honey pairs wasn’t a term we use in the sophisticated suburbs of Wishaw. Probably more common with John and those Glasgow ruffians.

Dougie McAllister

yesterday at the game I asked a few of my older Rangers supporters and they hadn't heard of this term/nickname... not worry just some music choices Echo and the bunnymen, cure or siouxsie and the bandshees keep up the good work 👍🏻

john cowden

To be fair This would be a phrase from the 1930’s 40’s 50’s I never heard it at the game but still very fond memories of my grandad saying it as I came in the house Sophisticated and wishaw not very often you have n the same sentence …

Alan Bradley

One of the above requests on next week’s pod. I’ll include the other two in the following two weeks.

Johnnie Mitchell

Great listen guys and respect for doing it so soon after that result. Great to hear two pals sharing their memories of brilliant Rangers victories. Cheers

David Baillie

Great show lads. Love them Honey Pears. 👍😂
