Cheers Alan for the little bit of SKA. Cruyff is the best in my lifetime by a long way. That Ajax team were sensational. I recently watched old footage when they smashed Bayern 4- 0 in a semi I think .the football was a joy to behold. Even guys like Arnold muhren transformed that Ipswich side. Good listen. Cheers once again.

Absolutely “poetry in motion” Cruyff just glided around and was comfortable regardless of which part of the pitch he was on. Agree re quality throughout the team.

David Baillie

Great show Alan. That Ajax team were absolutely sublime. Interesting to remember that we had knocked out Bayern in the semi 7 months previously and weren’t embarrassed against Ajax over the 2 legs. They just had wonderful footballers throughout that team with Cruyff at the pinnacle. Not bad for a laddie that reputedly smoked 40 plus a day. One of the very best I ever saw at Ibrox. Pace, balance, power, skill not to mention bravery. What a player.

David Best

Absolutely brilliant mate and thank you. Wouldn’t be right if you didn’t give me a hard time!! And raise a glass to the rusty nail loyal!!! You are a top man and proud to call you my best mate!

geweldige show Alan heeft enorm genoten van de Ajax-wedstrijden...😂😂😂 great show Alan really enjoyed the Ajax games. Netherlands world cup squads for 74 & 78 was mostly made up of that team... i did the tour of the Amsterdam Arena and they do have a Rangers lounge in their stadium as tribute to this fixture.... great choice of song from the Echo and the bunnymen 👍🏻 keep up the good work 👏🏻

Shocking 1 out of 3 for me this week. Missed a complete open goal with the 2nd one too

Derek Murray

James Taylor song very apt for the forecasted snow today 🥶 3 out of 3 … what a fantastic trip down memory lane and reminded me that the Dutch contingent offered up some class ! How about some Alphaville ? Rem Numan singing along to Forever Young at a do in Milngavie Loyal … don’t ask 🤕

Angus Mackay

2 out a 3 this week Alan , these entertainment reps in Costa Teguise putting me off mate 😎

Thanks a bunch, no golf for me today and three layers for Ibrox tonight. Enjoy the sunshine 😡😡

Andy Sladen

Great pod Alan and I think for the first time ever 3 out of 3 for me. Enjoyed the bit of ska and was one of those things that at the time as I was into punk I wouldn’t admit it but secretly it was pretty good. Anyway a request - again - what about story of the blues by the mighty blues wah. Bit of a change for me 😄
