10 seconds in......great tune.

The lack of transfer activity is extremely worring, yes they probably have people in mind, but getting them in this window is slim and if we still have the same players going into the 2nd half of the season we're not winning this league, I'll take the L if I'm wrong and I want to be wrong but I'll probably not be wrong.

Graeme Law

Couldn't we offer roofe a pay as you play contract? To lose him for by his injuries is a great loss. As example we saw him score the winner to top our group, I still feel he has something to offer & under manager & his new style could help roofe Keep fit

Heart and Hand

They don’t exist any more. You could offer him a very very low basic with high appearance money but someone will offer him a better normal contract and no agent would let their client sign one of those anyway.

Stillsaw

The injury record is crushing us. It’s happening to existing players, new signings a like. It’s got me wondering if there is a problem with the training pitches at Murray park.

Colin McPherson

Injury record and poor forward planning is going to kill this season like it has every other year. I have faith in the manager but not the people who hold the purse strings and do the scouting.

Gregg

I don’t think anyone can keep him fit sadly. It must be absolutely soul destroying for him - he seems like he genuinely burts a gut to get back and then it doesn’t last very long. The fact it seems to be different injuries all the time speaks to a body that’s no longer up to professional sport - I hope I am wrong. Some player

Stephen

Think we just need to move on from him. He is 31 now. Even if he remained fit his best days will probably be behind him. Despite missing so much football he did contribute a lot of big moments for us but it’s time for us to get a younger striker.

Tom Leitch

On the tv deal, I’ve often argued that clubs like Dundee, Motherwell, St.Johnstone etc, could make more money selling three or four games a season against us, and them, than they’d get from Sky. I think the move to individual bargaining with broadcasters has come a step closer with this decision.

Spoon

Purely wild speculation but at no time since he’s been here has it felt like Ridvan wanted to play here. He hasn’t ever seemed settled or committed and that’s over a few managers. I get he’s young and it might just have been. The wrong move but the club seem to be assumed to be pushing him out where it wouldnt surprise me if he wasn’t the one looking to leave. Since coming in PC has rightly taken a dim view of those who don’t fully commit, are doing what they can to get back into the team or aren’t performing. The idea he doesn’t rate the boy looks more like a disappointment in his application out with games than a criticism of his ability. I like that he wants winners and those who don’t make excuses it’s long over due, if He doesn’t rate a guy then happy to see them moved on. Roofe like Helander won’t be missed neither really delivered on their promise in terms of minutes played. Moving forward getting guys who can stand up to the rigours of the SPFL is another reason we should buy domestic. Any guy who comes in now with the tag ‘if we can get him fit/firing/focused’ etc is just as David said about the perman injured, is signing someone who is a bad risk, we have done this far too much recently.

Jock Paterson

If we want more trophies this season we need to sign more than 30 goals because that’s what we are short of to be successful

David_Davy_Dave

Still the case you can only change 3 euro squad players? If so then isn’t that Lammers, Roofe and Danilo out. Silva, Balogun and if he stayed Ridvan (or a new left back) will leave us very short up front

David Innes

If we don’t sign at least 1 more quality striker we won’t win the league - it’s that simple

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David.👍

Gregg

Re Ridvan - Verona are rooked and have been paying players late. Looks like doig deal off as well - flew to Marseille as well

George Smith

Not sure roofes injury record was that bad until he got here
