Job done in a very efficient manner, not easy to play good football in them conditions, bigger tests lie ahead. Please sign a decent proven striker, Shankland wins us the league, of that I’m convinced, pay the 3 million and get it done

MARK DRIVER

Is it true that Sima has picked up an injury and has returned to Scotland?

David Gardner

Good pods and analysis guys - it always makes me mad seeing Tav hit corners! He scores most of our goals, he’s an excellent finisher, I’d rather he was in or on edge of the box 🤣

I certainly wouldn’t mind him occasionally loitering there at a corner just in case the ball breaks either!

Russ

Tbh, in rancid conditions I thought we were decent finishing aside. Also McCausland being comfortable on both flanks will save us millions I think.

Allan Osborne

Job done like you say. To be fair to Dumbarton they were a fair side. I was expecting the worst with sliding tackles and over the top challenges, the sort we so often get when we play wee teams, especially away from home. But I can't remember a single bad challenge. More injuries we cannot afford and so it's a relief to get this one out of the way and on we go.

Am I the only one that wishes that the drum would burst in the first five minutes of a game. Had to take a handful of painkillers for my head which ironically was bursting

Rona Bluebell

I wish I could add something witty and incisive, but I can’t so here is the comment: sign Shankland ffs 🤦🏼‍♀️

Scott Tolmie

Thought dessers was pretty good, conditions were horrific

Really interesting point. Have we got anyone with a better technique that we would rather a volley falls to? Cantwell maybe? Seems likely he'd pick up five goals a season if he was having a couple of attempts a game from the edge of the box

Don’t agree, some people are turning shankland into ronaldo, not convinced he will enjoy playing against a back 9 everyweek, totally different from playing at hearts

That cantwell chance took a nick off the defender that put him off balance coz I'm sure he was setting up for a right footer then had to change last second.

Ross Mcewab

Definitely thought tav should have let silva take the pen. Maybe not tav’s decision but a captain should be looking to get others involved.
