Hi David, hopefully this'll go through with the young midfielder he sounds very promising 👍, sima could we afford him 🤷‍♂️, still changes needed with the squad difficult as that might be to achieve 🤔

Scotty

I hope Lunny stays, this manager will get the best out on him & on his day, what it says in his song.

David Martin

Fingers crossed this new lads the real deal. Feel like all the things people are saying about him are exactly what we heard about Cifu last year. So let’s wait and see

Leslie White

All I can say is another midfielder? for decades Rangers have always concentrated on midfielders is this to boar teams into submission. Please please concentrate A, on bringing in forward thinking players or B get our B teams trained up on forward play.

Stewart Thomson

Both the Thistle and Raith home ties in the cup last year were on the Sunday if memory serves me right, which is probably a good indication.

Gregg

I doubt we’d sign him if it was impacting our budget for a forward.

KennyY

I haven’t watched a Rangers women’s old firm game where we dominated the game to such an extent. Rangers were on a completely different level and the scoreline was not a true reflection of the game. Well done to the ladies. Could do with the men’s team showing the same desire to beat them as the women did. Let’s hope that Sky decide to show the Sky cup final.

Scott Cameron

Lunny is only 1 of the 6 OOC who should get a new offer but probably on less money to get him the 2 year deal he'll probably want.

Scott Cameron

Robbie McCrorie needs to go elsewhere if he wants to play 1st team football but unless we get a crazy offer for JB nothing will change

Scott Cameron

he's a different profile of midfielder and it's also an area of the park that's needed upgrading in recent years but hasn't

Robert

Rotten day at work, so was good to listen to a positive daily update👍.

Scott Duncan

Well done Jo and the RWT, they certainly showed the men's team how to do it against Them!

Damien Stubbs

The phrase “they hate them in a positive fashion”, chuckled at it but it’s SO true. We miss that desperately in the men’s team and I was thinking that when watching it aswell. The afore mentioned Halliday potentially been the last true example?

Colin Mathie

Storm Jocelyn is coming tomorrow btw, so be prepared folks.

Colin Mathie

Viaplay have chosen the day/time for the Ayr game, we're on the Sunday at 4pm.

David Innes

The lack of respect Nicola Docherty showed towards their new manager was particularly pleasing

David Innes

Struggling to think which other SPL team would even want to take a punt on a player like Lowry - could actually see him dropping down to the Championship- Queen’s Park maybe

Jimmy Price

Marlena Shaw!? Great choice David 👏👏

Ryan Stewart

Would be all for Sima signing but I think we will most likely come up against the same issue we had with Tillman last summer. What he is worth to us and what Brighton will be able to get for him from elsewhere in Europe are probably very different numbers.

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David. Plenty to think about today. Gaun Rangers Women's Team! Well done 👏👏👍 Even from just the highlights it's clearly visible there's a good old fashioned passion & intensity shown toward that mhob. Jo Potter, "creating mentality monsters". Fantastic!

Stuart McWilliams

Quite excited by what I've read about Diamonde, can see him being used as a 10 in some games (like Gio did with Kamara against Leipzig). We all bemoaned the space McGregor found in the old firm and this could be the key to stopping that in the future.

Billy Forrester

Livingston be a good shout, they desperately need some help and Lowry would be ideal for them

Bluelacoste

You reckon that BHA might be interested in a deal with a 7m fee and a 30-40% profit sell on. Helps spread it over for FFP maybe.

Jamie

Mo Diomande is the ideal type of player we should be looking at. Young with potential. Hopefully he does well then move him on for a profit. That’s the model we should be aiming for.

Spoon

New boy looks like a sensible signing, lots of upside and very little downside from what you say (never seen the boy or heard of him but willing to take the views of those who have) and glad to see its a proper signing not a loan. Lowry just doesnt excite me, rightly or wrongly there seems to be too many people who have had to qualify his talent with the comments around attitude (or now maturity) and unfortunately for the boy he may have talent but so do thousands of other guys his age and lots have the application too. I take the point that Hearts signed another player for the slot but if Lowry was that good, ie good enough for us, I doubt the type of guy Hearts can attract would have dislodged him. As David has mentioned before managers are unlikely to ‘not play’ guys who would do a turn for them. I have no sympathy for guys who dont realise talent most of us wish we had but if the boy is going to kick on he will need to quick, I think its noticeable when you see the media / interviews with McAusland vs those with Lowry. Definitely dont see Clement going easy on him, think we will find out quickly on his return if he has a future.

Spoon

There’s no doubt he’s stabilised and been better but we have seen this before, fear is he reverts (particularly if he signs a new deal) back to the square ball. I love the forward thinking Lundstrum with a bit of snap who’s up having a shot and stealing the ball back high but I hate the version that sits on the 18 yard line and passes it about with the centre backs or constantly slows it down and exchanges meaningless 10 yard passes back and forward with another guy. I trust Clement and if we can keep the big mans head facing forward and he makes the passes up the field more than across or back then he definitely has a place if the moneys right. I still think the Dowell, Sterling and Cantwell set up has looked the best balance recently though.

Paul

I think someone has to tell big Phil, Robby McCrorie turns 26 in march 😂

David Baillie

I was wondering if when a player is injured on international duty does the country ie. Senegal pay the players wages for the time they are out?

Thomas Blair

Mccrorie has played 100 games. He’s never going to be our goalie.

Martin Sutherland

I like McCrorie and would like to see him go and kick start his career. He’s played over 100 games at various levels so has enough experience to get a move. Could be a Scotland No 1 if he gets his head down

John Palmer

Watched the obligatory YouTube video to see who and what Diomande is like. He looks very quick, skillful, good passer, goal scorer and not scared to take players on. If he can do for us what I've seen in his highlight reels then he'll quickly become a fans favourite and set the Heather a light from the get go. As he's a left footer I'd run with a line up of Butland Tav, Goldson, Balogun, Barasic Diomande, Silva, Lundstrum, McCausland, Dessers. A very attacking team Yes, but the best Defence is a strong Offence.
