Hoggy is back once again to discuss the topics of the day, chosen by you guys out there.

Cyriel Dessers is high on the agenda (in a positive light), same with Todd Cantwell, transfer business and a general feel good factor around the Club.  It feels mightily different to normal post winter breaks!

I might be changing my opinion of Dessers. I do however think he shits it when through on a keeper. Trying to round the keeper or aiming his shots out of the keepers reach. As a striker you don’t need to. Low,hard and early, two out of those three if on target will usually go in unless it’s off the keepers face.

Nice to have Adam Lowry back 😂 only messing

Great show Hoggy and might just try la Florentina restaurant at some point! Regarding Cantwell, he’s symptomatic of our core issues, that we desperately want success and a hero to pin our hopes on. Dessers is similar, building the narrative that he’s about to rise Phoenix like to reveal genius. We are ever hopeful

A fine Saturday morning listen, thanks Hoggy

There was research done that found out it takes players 10 - 14 months to properly settle at a new club before they they perform at their best.

Say bub bye to your pensions if Maxwell came in.

On the Saudi thing if you look at golf - they have ploughed billions in as a disruptor and to gain leverage with the PGA. It seems to have worked!! Could they be doing the same with football - a euro league sponsored and invested in by the PIF, with the semis/ final in Saudi? Wouldn’t rule it out. Suspect tennis will follow golf, boxing, F1

Hoggy

Aye. They have the finances to shake things up for sure

Gregg

Eye watering what they have in there - the football and golf is a rounding error. Crazy.

My routine for a football Saturday/Sunday. I stay in West Lothian I go via harthill and stop for a coffee and make my way through. I always leave in plenty time so I don’t have to rush. I park in my spot on govan road and walk up either listening to a pod or some music. It seems very boring but I have a pretty demanding job so it’s nice to have a bit me time.

Saudi’s are in it for the long term and have the finances to do it. This is essentially year 1, it’ll keep growing and there’s little doubt it’s going to be in a strong position for whenever there’s going to be the inevitable restructure of club football/European football. Interesting few years ahead.
