Not 100% sure & I’m sure someone can confirm but it is Jump not the walkout music or used to be for the match fixing c***’s also known as OM?

keith wright

Has Diomande arrived in Glasgow yet?

Graham Jones

I think if there had been interest in Shankland it would’ve happened by now. A bid this late gives Hearts no room to manoeuvre for a replacement. I think sometimes make out football lacked any subtlety back in the eighties or nineties, but it was a completely different game. I would suggest some modern players would’ve failed back in the eighties and nineties, but I dislike making comparisons between players from different generations. It’s a bit disrespectful, and we should just celebrate all players for what they contributed when they were playing.

John Smith

“There’s been no word at all on Shankland from Ibrox, be it positive OR Negative.” So you’re telling me there’s a chance ? Yes !

Craig

I wonder now if Yilmaz' move abroad was similar to Richard Gough having to go to Spurs for a year before he could get to Ibrox.

Kona

Ah so Sima offski then - that's a pity

Ian MacLeod

David, you're correct with the pronunciation of the J in Jefte. It's the same sound as the J in Rio de Janeiro, or the middle sound in the word 'leisure'.

David Kiltie

I agree, Graham. A deal for Shankland was never going to be straightforward so if we were interested I reckon we would have moved very early so Hearts could lay down their position and there would be a lengthy period for negotiations. Even though no one at Rangers has mentioned Shankland’s name we are still being accused of tapping!

Graham johnston

It is exciting to have South American players coming in but equally we really need to get a Scottish core to the team. If we had been more proactive in previous years we'd have had players like Doig, Ferguson and Shankland already here at a cheaper price than we brought similar elsewhere. I think the the recruitment team know this and why we were after Mckanna and Doig earlier in the window. However they're just more expensive now.

Alan Gebbie

Shanklnd hasn’t been good enough until recently….. he just failed in Belgium. That would not have been our profile

Rod

If your not failing occasionally then your not taking enough risks to have a successful career IMO. Counts for all of us not just footballers. Don't be afraid to fail.

David

Cheers Davie 👍 do you have any idea how much Forrest bid for Butland?

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David.👍 Borna to Cyprus could be a good resolution. Sima away? Manager said Sima's treatment & rehab was, naturally, to be discussed with his parent club. What do you know? What have you heard? Young Ross. One week he's in the B team, next week he's in the Europa League group stages. Think we can excuse him being out foxed by a seasoned pro of Isco's standing. Learned from it. Gained experience. Still very much in the credit column with that wee goal to level from behind vs Aris. Turned into a multi-million pound point gained! Hopefully tomorrow is a good day for business.

Doug

I think he was just referring to the fact Sima is out long term injured, as opposed to him leaving.

Gary Brown

Cheers mate. Just 🎣, with dynamite! Thought David had just made a wee slip!
