If a report on the governance of Scottish football is given to the governing body to make amendments to then it’s no longer, by definition, an independent report. No matter how big or small the edits were, the whole report should be considered null and void?

Hmm. Whoever commissioned the report would get to see the draft first and can suggest slight alterations around focus maybe but not a fundamental rerouting of information. It may be that the SPFL shouldn’t have commissioned the report (if they did) and a neutral body instead. Not sure why clubs would pay the SPFL to commission a governance report on themselves??? That’s the odd bit. Somewhere like Audit Scotland could’ve been asked.

Thanks for the update David👍 No way would the 6 clubs agree to and pay for this process run this way. Its diametrically opposed to what they aim to achieve. Who altered the process? Why? Surely the 6 clubs can now complain to UEFA, overall governing body of all Euro league governing bodies, as there are significant suspicions of interference into the investigation by the subject of the investigation, the SPFL! This action by the SPFL is literally the dictionary definition of 'corruption'. So there is NO WAY normal processes to impliment change can even be examined nevermind discussed, trialed or implimented. SPFL a totalitarian dictatorship. Only way we (& the other 5) are going to get rid of this lot is if UEFA strip them of their authority or a breakaway league is formed!

The SPFL will just ignore concerns and any report. That's what they do. They know others will back them no matter what so don't care about people who have issues.

I hate the sky Scottish football coverage. It’s like watching a pantomime compared to the English version. Neville and Carragher might wind each other up but at least they talk sense and don’t peddle conspiracy theories about penalties and referees. Guys like Sutton etc demean our game by doing that.
