Next 2 weekends after this we play first. Pressure then back on them to win on the Sunday to stay in touch

Duncan Hegan

What's the intro drum fill from?

Craig Lamont

When we think of "title race" we think of 2011, 2009, 2005 and 2003. What we need to remember is we aren't in a race against those Celtic teams. We keep playing they way we are, hopefully improving, and I don't think goal difference needs to be a factor.

KMS

David's email server obviously based at Dens Park 👀

Heart and Hand

Yeah, that’s where it’s from - the Heart and Hand theme! That’s the name of the song, was written for us by a mate. The tune at the end is by Saint PHNX.

Russ

If we play like we did last night from now until the end of the season we'll piss the league, it's that simple. The age old debate of Performance vs Result. In the short term our fans are gagging to be top but the manager will be more satisfied with that performance going forward with this group of players. Lads, 23 shots OT is fucking mental.

Graeme McLeod

I wasn't keen on the Clement appointment. Thought we needed someone who understood the club and British football in general. But the results speak for themselves, and he's spot on with his comments about the fans last night. Compare that to Beale blaming poor results on fans - Clement understands why there's nerves. We've beaten Aberdeen and Ross County after conceding equalisers, and I'm not convinced that would have happened in previous years (or earlier this season).

Jonny Burnside

Thanks a million for the shout out for Joel, we’ve just finished the stadium tour and I am delighted to say he is well and truly hooked!

KMS

Always found it ironic that during that Debacle over the Dundee email server, I am sure their chairman was called Tim Keyes

Robert White

Sunday EH then £1 womens OF beats sitting in the house on a wet February day! Looking forward to it

Hi David, I am confident in the manager we are on track and although i still believe we could have done with a striker in the last window but it didn't happen whatever the reason 🤷‍♂️,so we are behind the team good times ahead imo 😀 👍

There will be MASSIVE pressure on Celtc on Saturday .. Lets see how they cope - in someway it adds to the pressure on them us just on their shoulder . Imagine Celtc loosing & us going top due to that - they would go MENTAL. That was a huge result for us last night - proved we are loosing the bottle merchant mentality . Cant believe some folk are angry about last night ! A wee bit disappointed - ok . But FFS. The manager has said the fans affect the players - lets remember that - they now deserve our full support for 90 mins

Jonathan Morrow

Lots of noise today from them lot about an agreement for increased ticket allocation (similar to europe) for the next Old firm?

G Calder

Next season i hope We need to win the next OF game .. no celtic fans would help .

Paul Kerr

Spot on with the online reactions. Social media accounts who quote tweeted their "I told you so" from 6 months ago at 1-1 were muted en masse last night.

Bryan Watson

I thought some of the fans were really poor last night (or at least from round about me). It is remarkable we are well in this title race and arguably look the more likely side to go on and win it but theres still a hell of a lot of football to be played including 2 Old Firms. 3-1 up and absolutely hammering Ross County in our most dominant home footballing performance since we beat Accies 8-0 and you've got people screaming its a disgrace because we haven't went top on GD in mid February 🫠. It will never happen, but I think people would be wise to heed the manager's words and take it one game at a time. That is what has brought us back into a title race and that is what will see us win it in my opinion.

Gregg

We have a decent sized minority of fans who have become conditioned to being miserable and moaning is their go to. It’s like the dhims and their persecution complex

Bryan Watson

I'd agree with that and tbh we have sat through plenty of guff this season alone (not under this manager to be fair) but I don't know how anyone can turn their nose up at that last night we were genuinely unreal and tell you what that was far more convincing than anything I've seen Celtic do this season. People need to have a word with themselves because it is not helpful and is beyond unreasonable

David Innes

I’m now pretty confident we’ll win the league but I think the most likely scenario is that they collapse and drop more points before the OF game at Ibrox. Don’t like the thought of going to their midden needing a result

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David. Anyone 'disappointed' about last night needs a reality check, to re-evaluate if following Rangers is something to do. Its 3-0 up and RC get their out of the blue goal in injury time? Ok, yeah, maybe - had exactly what you wanted, then taken away. Best performance since God knows when, loads of chances (totally different story if we weren't creating them!), went joint top, from 10pts behind (when far too many already conceded the league in Sept!), only one goal in it, a third of the season left to go, form is in our favour and we are improving whilst that mhob are not. Keep winning and goal difference will take care of itself. David very magnanimously addressed the anxiety of some fans. Unfortunately the 'performative' over reactions are rife in the stadium too. Supporters 'support'. Do it all the way til May!

Gary Brown

Totally agree Bryan. At 1-1 there was the usual grumblings from the usual suspects around me. Sad thing is there are just far, far too many of them. But the worst over-reacting was from non regulars. I've been to plenty of games in England, big and small clubs, never heard home support get on the backs of their own. Of course there are moans of exasperation or disbelief or disappointment but abuse is only for officials, away team and fans.

Jamie Kirk

How has Conor goldson not got a song?

Gregg

Sure it was the killie game - 3 non regulars near me done nothing but abuse the players - Dessers and Cantwell especially. Look at me nonsense. Then when we score they have their phones out - videoing themselves celebrating etc. Was almost a performance art. Were in 40s/ 50s as well. Total embarrassment.

Craig Guthrie

First season I’ve went to see the women’s games and I think Jo Potter has done a great job. Roll on three points on Sunday

Gary Brown

Totally agree David, 100%! As posted keep winning, GD takes care of itself. Ours will be better, but will just be an insignificant stat Points will win this. Simply can not fathom how anyone who actually watches & understands the game can be stressed or distressed about last night (or last few months TBH!). Players do their thing. Supporters do ours = Absolutely nothing to fear. Total TIMplosion is already imminent! The manager is totally transparent (in what he wants to give away!!). 'This is what I want to do, that's what wins. This is who I'm playing and why' and he's proving it by doing it. Fans need to actually listen to him. If they did there's no need for nerves or anxiety. The man is going to elevate us to a different level - successful domestically, competative in UCL group > qualifying out of UCL group (like Stevie G did in UEL) and in player trading too. 21st century, global view, modern motivational manager (with 1970s scary & hard as fk boss genes too!). Winning or losing a small town bragging contest over 1 goal in mid-Feb doesn't concern him in the slightest. Keep scoring 2 or 3, concede 0 or 1 and even the dodgy pens to the dark side can only be 1 or 2 each game - it'll soon take care of itself!

Bryan Watson

We are desparate for success but I don't see how anyone can think bemoaning the team when they are playing out their skin is anyway at all going to push them to the title. Earlier in the season and in times gone by you could understand it, especially under Beale we were ruddlerless, lacked a direction and identity under a snake oil salesman of a manager, we knew we were going no where fast and it wasn't good enough. However, we were electric on Wednesday playing some unbelievable football and only halted in scoring more by one of the best goalie performances the premiership has ever seen statistically. If people are boo'ing and bemoaning that then they want to have a word with themselves.
