What is it with us and the europa league. If we can get the same confidence in the CL when we play in it we could get out the group quite alot I reckon.

I know what you were saying about the di Maria booking but if that was our player he would have been off, u can't raise ur hands in Europe so I was surprised VAR didn't get him to the monitor for that one.

With regards to their pen it looked like VAR was only showing the ref the angle where u couldn't see souttar head it clearly onto his hand. It honestly felt like they were wanting him to give it so only gave him the angle that would make him more likely, maybe he got that angle first but to show the other angle multiple times at the end before he came away to give it was suspect and wrong.
