ARMY, we have ONE more double twin reaction to share with you. After today’s video, we’ll be hopping back into our review of MV’s and The Rise of Bangtan!

In today’s video, we introduce BTS to one more set of twins, Cathy & Carmel (both from New York City). We were hoping to hook their souls with V’s “Singularity” and leave the Twins Days Festival having successfully birthed two new baby ARMYs.

However, to our surprise, Cathy and Carmel weren’t blown out of their chairs by the song. They did end up providing a thoughtful and genuine analysis about their experience listening to the song, which we truly appreciated. It also gave us an excuse to listen to this magical song again! If you haven't already seen our first time reaction to Singularity, check it out on our YouTube page now ----> https://youtu.be/LOaflciAnyY

WHAT DO YOU THINK IT WILL TAKE FOR CATHY & CARMEL TO BECOME ARMY? Should we try again next year?

Check out Carmel’s YouTube Channel- “The Fitness on Fire Experience”: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFx8cAYzWksYnUX28H5pmBQ/featured

Thank you for the video! I'm excited to continue The Rise of Bangtan, I'm watching it for the first time too so I'm waiting for you guys to do it together :) If I may leave a suggestion, besides N.O I would strongly recommend you react to Attack on Bangtan/Rise of bangtan which is the other track they promoted of their next album. Even though it doesn't have an official MV the live performances are crazy! You will get to see the chaotic side of a BTS concert besides the professional one you already know. The performance in the epilogue tour Japan is my favourite: https://youtu.be/gP0Vo0U3Yn8 Thank you for your hard work! 💜 borahaee

luciaaarm_

I wouldn't put presure to them. Im sure that bts will find them when they are ready. Thank you guys to take the time to introduce them, and we hope they get to see more of bts' content and love. Borahae♡♡♡♡

Daphne

Uuuh that was interesting, I love their perspectives and insight! 💜 Also thank you for posting eventhough they didn't feel the song, they were really respectful and appreciative of someones work of art even when it was not for them and that's what matters 💜🙏💜 personally love Singularity a lot, it makes me feel a special kind of way that is hard to describe but in my opinion it is taes best solo song to date (plus Stigma uuuugh 🎯 please do a reaction to that one some day, I'm really interested in your thoughts) 💜 so excited for your next videos, thank you for your time and hard work to make ARMY smile, borahae!! ~

Meagan.OT7

What great people to have on the video! Loved their reaction and honest thoughts. I appreciate people that at least give a BTS song a listen to before saying they don't like it. Everyone likes different things but it's good to hear that they appreciate the art(the song) even though it is not necessarily their cup of tea.

Aja Anderson

It is a humbling experience to be presented with people who do not know or care for BTS' music. I have to remind myself that just because I love something, it doesn't automatically mean that others will too. I also know how deeply this song, and the theory behind it, touched you both so I am sure it was a bit of a shock to hear that they weren't particularly impressed. I can appreciate their feedback and I do appreciate that they spoke kindly about Tae and his art, regardless of their feelings. Maybe they would appreciate the song more if they were aware of the possible connection to the singularity theory? To each their own, I suppose. I hope you two didn't feel too disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm, as always I appreciate your reactions and your care towards BTS and ARMY💜

Amani ○°●•7

@aja Anderson pretty much communicated what I wanted to say. To add to: 1. Music transcends language. I admire rappers and reactors who 1st turn CC off to "hear" "feel" the cadence and lyrics then a 2nd listen w the CC on ... 2. Like most BTS songs ... Singularity has nothing to do w a relationship between two people. Tae is a lyrical visual writer and his fight w his own duality is admirable 3. Thanks J&j for exposing BTS to others. If its meant for them BTS will find them 🌌🖤🌌🖤💜

MelBe

First of all, i like Cathy&Carmel. They have charisma and i enjoy hearing them talk. And thanks for introducing their You Tube Chanels. I will definitely test Cathy´s Cross. I think you should try it again next year. Maybe it´s better to listen to more upbeat songs like Butter, Ma City, Dynamite or Airplane pt. 2. I would like to see your reaction to the tiny desk concert or the

Tanya G

I enjoyed their perspective, i think because I relate. I have to admit, when my daughter tried to introduce me to BTS the first time, it was through the individual artist single songs like Singularity, Epiphany and Serendipity etc… I hated them. She did this because I couldn’t tell them apart when they performed as a group, (I’m embarrassed to admit!) My response was similar to theirs in SOME ways. My first response was ‘why would I listen to a song I can’t sing along with?!’ Lol At least these ladies are open to listening to another language. I had to begin with the 3 English songs before I could give myself over to BTS and all that they are. It took me a bit to figure out, as you guys are doing now, that BTS doesn’t write meaningless love songs. There is a personal connection to the singer(s) with deeper meaning; always symbolism in the lyrics and the videos. If you don’t spend time knowing them, I don’t think you can ever appreciate their incredible skills and might as well stick to their North American English songs that are fun and energetic, but without depth and feeling.

HershMarie✨?

I appreciate their reaction with this MV. I also appreciate the fact that they did give BTS a chance before saying they don't like it just like other people. Being an army is not like any other fandom. At least, for me. Supporting and loving the boys is what army does and we know that not everyone will like them but we always appreciate people for the time, effort and the respect towards them. I still love this reaction though and I do appreciate it from my heart! 💜 When RM wrote this song he knew V would be perfect for this song because of his soulful voice and V fell inlove with it just how you guys did when you first listen to it. This song is just a masterpiece, an art perfected by RM's lyrical talent. This song is one of armys fave solo of taehyung and the live is just out of this world . It's written by namjoon, It's pretty much about being in pain and suffering experienced being in love. This song has a whole deep meaning and story to it. If you guys are interested, there's this good youtube video about this song's explanation. It is crazy and mindblowing. 😏🙂 https://youtu.be/wEqc6KES7GM https://youtu.be/9d49DUT2rv4 Looking forward to your next reaction and the ROB ✨💜

MelBe

i wanted to say the BTS week by Jimmy Fallon

Tanya G

Completely agree! 💜

Loredana⁷

Hi Hersh Marie! Jared and Jordan have already seen the MV of Singularity in their YouTube channel and in that video they also watch the amazing explanation video you posted. If you haven't seen their reaction yet , I recommend you go see it because it deserves a lot! I think I have watched that video at least 5 times!

HershMarie✨?

Oh I know Lol! The explanation about MV I didn't know that they've seen it before. I'm one of their early supporters and patrons but for some reason I can't remember seeing their reaction to the explanation which I will watch now. I'm also talking about the live performance. Thank you!!! 💜💜💜🤓

Suncedars Hul

Thanks for the video, I see they weren't ready to be found by Bangtan yet lol the time will come when they'll least expect it 😊💜

Heather ⁷

thank for the video, that was a tough watch but everyone deserves an opinion. You really would not understand this if you did'nt watch Fake Love and also a little knowledge of the Bangan universe.

Tri

Just to say this was written by Namjoon not by Tae and I agree Tae fights with his duality and beautifully conveyed this through his vocals and the visuals. Namjoon captured his essence well 💜

Amani ○°●•7

Damit i knew that ... 😏 just typed that thought process out incorrectly.. thanks for the correction

Alishea

It's fascinating to hear others' opinions because they were right that the MV seemed like a dream because it essentially was, V in a dream-like state, I'm glad they caught that! I respect both of the twins' opinions on not listening again it's understandable ^^ thanks so much for sharing this reaction with us guys! I'll be eagerly waiting for your rise of bangtan reactions 💜

Angie7

If we all liked the same things there would be no need for differences.. most of us found them in moments of despair or last resorts...and it’s in those moments that their voices touch your heart in some way depending on what your listening to.....I had seen Dynamite 1st and was intrigued by the dancing but it was “Love Myself” that broke me down...it still hits hard.....I think maybe if they saw a dance performance then followed by a slower song they might find themselves wanting to know more but it’s their perspective and I like that they don’t belittle BTS or the fandom 💜

Glaseon_711

It was very interesting to hear their opinion! This is the first time I've seen a reaction to "Singularity" in which the song didn't sink into the soul. And it seems to me that many factors influenced here ... First, the girls did not know what to expect and what the context of everything was. They just plunged into it in an unfamiliar language and a genre of music that (perhaps) is not congenial to them. And it's very interesting! Despite all this, they expressed very fresh ideas)Thank you guys for different opinions. We are waiting for the return of The Rise of Bangtan. I would like you to listen to BTS music in the order in which it came out) Tell me where I can recommend you a live performance not by BTS? I myself came across this live not so long ago and I want to show you this magic and flavor of my country. Besides, I doubt you see this often! We love you guys! Oh, tell me, have you changed your mind about creating a chat yet? I have a lot of questions!🤣🤣🤣💜💜💜

LizP⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷

You nailed it!!! I respect people's reactions, opinions, etc. But when people get downright offensive and rude that when this army gets defensive and mama bear comes out! Lol. I know not everyone has the same experience we do and I understand that. I appreciate the ladies being honest and respectful. Jordan and Jared were very gracious and I love how they respected their reaction.

layla pop

Differences in opinion are what makes the world go round. I love how they were respectful of the art even though it’s not their cup of tea. 💜

HershMarie✨?

Girrrllllll LOL!! Tell me about it! 🤭

Christina

Wow that was pretty surprising. To me this song is one of the most incredible pieces of music to grace my ears… when I was new to BTS and didn’t immediately warm to all of their music, this one stuck out to me because it’s so soulful and so amazingly produced. The beats are just 🥵. But i guess it’s not for everyone..

Sarah Park

I am truly enjoying your reaction😊 please do more their music reactions💜

And

Thank you for another video 💜 but yes definitely can’t wait for more Rise of Bangtan & new music reactions from you guys!

BTSOT7

Could we please go back to you reacting to songs?

April Forgue

If I was introducing someone to BTS first I would ask what type of music they like and suggest something in that genre since they do them all but you only know a handful of songs. I suggest focus on your own reactions when you have more knowledge you can then make better suggestion for someone else to listen.

Frances

Great idea

LIBBY WILSON

I have to agree. There are so many BTS songs in different genres, you have to find out the type music they like first. Everybody isn't opened minded as most of ARMY is. BTS journey to success is a wonder to behold. People like what they like. I have a classical music background spanning over 40 years and I have come to appreciate different genres of music except Polka. This is one reason I love BTS so much because they always surprise me. ARSON and MORE by J-Hope have made it to my favorite Playlist. I still adore them regardless to what others may feel about them. Just know that I will always view your reactions but I can't promise I will visit the sites of those who just don't get it. I purple 💜 you.

Frances

I’m about to express an unpopular opinion - Singularity isn’t my cup of tea either. I have a BTS playlist of about 200 songs and Singularity isn’t on it. Of course I love V’s voice in it and I appreciate the talent (always), but it just isn’t a genre of music that I listen to. My favourite songs from V alone are Sweet night, Christmas tree, and inner child. So, I’m not as surprised that Cathy and Carmel didn’t like it, and I think it’s worth trying a couple more songs if they’re interested. BTS have songs in so many different genres, I’m sure there will be something that appeals to them.

LYLY

These women are wonderful. I'm always so amazed when people are able to explain why they don't like something without being mean. Please bring them on again but this time it would be cool to make them listen to 3/4 songs with different genres. Like for exemple Black Swan, Idol, Dynamite and No More Dream. Just so they could experience a little bit more of the diversity and see if there's anything in it that they might like or give us another great explanation on why they don't. Thanks for the great video guys !!!

J-Lee

Hmm, I guess it's understandable. We do have different types of music that we like. I love Taehyung sm, but same here, I am not very fond of Singularity. It's really a matter of genre preference. Which is what I like with BTS, coz they're very flexible doing different kinds of genres. When I introduce BTS to my friends (who are mostly hip-hop lovers and dancers), I always start with Mic Drop, Steve Aoki remix. You haven't heard that song yet, it'll blow your mind! 🤯😆 Is there any possibility that you guys can jump into reacting and listening to their most popular songs from time to time? As you go on with Rise of Bangtan, you'll be left with just some other songs in the list 😊 I'm talking about the most popular ones and maybe like their title tracks over the years: like Blood Sweat & Tears, Fire, Mic Drop, Idol, Dope, Dionysus, DNA, I Need You, Spring Day, Save Me (and I'm Fine to go with that back to back), Pied Piper (and Dimples to go with that too), Mikrokosmos, Boy With Luv, ON, Butter, Dynamite and Permission to Dance. Just once in a while, I think you can insert these along your journey. I think it's fine for you not to do this in order. I actually listed them just randomly. It's just necessary that you've already heard a wide range of songs that you can introduce to others when they want to learn about BTS. But thank you for doing this and trying to convert other people to being ARMYs. It's a mission we all live up to! Lol 😆 Thanks for the video my fave brothers! See you in the next! Borahae 💜

dani monique

-how many twins do you two know?

jaredandjordanBTS

Haha... we met all of these twins at the annual Twins Days Festival!

che ★

i agree with this! i respect these women and their opinion, and the fact that they still were able to somewhat break down what they had just watched which shows they respect it too. but it probably would have worked better if it was set up towards the genre of music these women like, instead of the genre the brothers like. so agreed again, that it would definitely help if they had a broader catalogue of bts' music to take from when trying to recommend to others. going forth i hope they focus more on reacting to bts songs rather than having others react to bts songs, even if videos like this are fun ^^

dyxqdthyfv

Please continue reaction to the rise of bangtan and BTS discography … there are so many

Yasemin Kaya

I think it is a good idea to listen to the songs you listed. Maybe Fake Love too. Just to get a wider range about their music.💜

DinaArmyMom

Nice job of showing some different content. Everyone will not like BTSs music and that's okay. Your subscribers have said that they've introduced friends with Mic Drop, Fake Love, Rap music depending on musical taste. I feel like you have to know at least a third of their discography to confidently recommend music to others. So that you know what songs to recommend. I would like to provide some feedback for your Patreon channel. I think you should stick with reacting to The Rise of Bangtan on a consistent basis, for instance once a week. React to BTS songs a couple of times a week. I believe you may have only reacted to 10 songs. For lack of better words, I feel like your reactions are scattered and all over the place. I appreciate all your efforts in providing different content however I feel consistency is key. I know BTS has a ton of content and it's easy to get lost with all of the requests coming in left and right. I get it! 🙂 I have seen most of their content however when I find reactors that are genuine I will rewatch again for a different perspective. Which is why I joined your Patreon. I hope this doesn't come off as negative because it is not my intent. I wanted to share my thoughts as a subscriber. I look forward to more content!

J-Lee

Oh yeah Fake Love. Sorry I missed that one coz I literally just listed the ones in my mind randomly. Thanks for mentioning that Yasemin!

korgi

i love how raw and honest they were as well as respectful, it was pretty impressive how they picked up those little things and the message right away whereas I have to look back at the lyrics and some further explanations as you guys do as well. i appreciate you guys for exposing more people to bts and though they might not have really liked the song I'm glad that they went into it with an open mind since a lot of people look at one crazy because it's in a different language or mock it. i enjoyed this reaction and can't wait for new content :)

Harfey

It was nice to see them be so honest. I think the only thing from this reaction I would've wanted besides what we got is just explaining what the purpose behind the song is.

Sarah Park

I fully agree!!! Once in a while please Feel free to react their music randomly….just don’t stick to their music in order..

Bee

It was nice to hear their insights! And it’s also lovely to hear people who don’t like a song not immediately trash it or be nasty! Honestly, as a lot of people have said in the comments already, Singularity wouldn’t have been a song I’d have chosen for an introduction to BTS’ music. Although, I do know of a handful of people that found/got hooked on BTS through a solo or subunit song, I’d still never pick a solo or subunit song if I was initiating an introduction to them. Others in the comments mentioned a lot of their title tracks and more popular b-sides as good introductory songs and those, I agree, are a much more solid way to introduce someone. It’s understandable since you haven’t heard much of their music yet that you’d go for a song that really spoke to you personally on a sonic, lyrical and stylistic level but I agree with others that because of BTS’ sheer versatility in their discography, it’d be much better to start introducing people when you yourselves have better knowledge of their discography so you can show or recommend songs from BTS that may be in more of a style or genre they already enjoy. I’m really hoping you start digging into their discography a bit harder soon! Don’t get me wrong, I love the occasional reaction to funny videos etc, but their music the main event when it comes to them after all! Also reactions to their reality series like Bon Voyage and In the Soop, and docuseries like Burn The Stage, Bring The Soul, Break The Silence, where they show amazing insights of what goes on behind the scenes when they’re working or touring would be awesome! All in your own time though, don’t feel pressured! Borahae! 💜💜

Precious

Thank you Caramel and Cathy for your very honest opinion. You described what you didn’t like about the song\ video tastefully. I saw the disappointment and appreciation in the faces of Jared and Jordan and I had to laugh because I get it. When you find something that is valuable to you, you want to share it with the world. The truth is that BTS is not for everyone. I still feel that this was a great video and you all did an excellent job. Great job as usual guys! Borahae!!!

Shalia

I appreciate their honesty and i understand how they feel. I did not become an ARMY when they debut as their debut album and songs were not the kind of music i like and i could not identify with the message. It was during the Love Yourself era that i found my love for BTS.

dulseokbangtan

Here to push the BTS Carpool Karaoke agenda once more. They sing 2-3 new songs plus one you know but their personalities really shine and you see Namjoons leadership. https://youtu.be/T4x7sDevVTY

And

I agree with both of you. I remember when I first got into BTS I was so excited to show them and their music to other people too even though I didn't know even a half of their discography, looking back on it, it was way too early 😂

DinaArmyMom

I agree and I love Attack on Bangtan and believe I requested a reaction. There's one good link for that live and I always include it when I request a reaction to it. It's by IceCream Kookies. 😊💜

SkyWatcher

Yes, please add Carpool Karaoke to your list of things to react to, it is amazing !

And

Yes Carpool Karaoke is a must watch! Though I recommend reacting to ON and MIC Drop before that

Saphy

Hey guys, this is the first time I'm making a comment. This is just a suggestion, if you're intending on introducing other people to BTS' music perhaps just play the song to them without subtitles to begin with and the 2nd time with the subs. A lot of us ARMY got into BTS by firstly 'experiening' their music either through videos or live performances without the subs because sometimes 'reading the subs' can get in the way of 'properly listening to the music'. That's how I got connected with their music - 'I felt it' just like your guest mentioned. Great work guys. 💜

SilvrArmy

Musical taste is so subjective and these lovely ladies very gracefully demonstrated that point. There are plenty of artists with huge followings but I am just not into their particular style or lyricism. Since Singularity was so clearly not to their taste, I am curious where their musical interests lie. My sister (we are both in our 50's) has become Army more recently after finally wanting to know who I was listening to and what is this "BTS babbling" I was constantly doing. We both have very wide-ranging musical tastes, but you never know where the connection is going to hit. So I gave her a list of songs with videos: Mic Drop, Save Me, Black Swan, Persona and On (Jimmy Fallon). I told her I thought by the third video she would get hooked - and she did. She has joined me completely in the rabbit hole and this has added another layer to our sisterhood bond. There is so much diversity to BTS's discography - if you cast a wide enough net you are definitely going to catch some new Army! Borahae!

Katherine Cordero

I love the way they talk and how respectful they are. Sometimes I get a bit disappointed when someone doesn’t like something I love but i feel appreciative when people give it a try. Not everyone will like it and maybe this just wasn’t the song for them. Before I became army i remember hearing Dynamite and not liking it, but one day i heard Save Me and now i’m an army. Looking forward to your future videos :)

VancityGal

It's so interesting that one person can completely lose themselves in this song and melt into it and others will have no interest in ever hearing it again. This is def a top 10 BTS song for me and I would have thought anyone who loves R&B or Neo-Soul would find this so enchanting, but not everyone connects with it. I appreciate the honesty and wish them well on their musical journey.

leat

the thing about BTS song is that they get better every time you hear them because kpop is both visual and beats but with bts the lyrics is also important. you simply have to watch it more than once to fully understand and appreciate a song like that. their title songs are attentions crappers and more easy to like. at first i didn´t like this song but now i love it. it´s so strange. BTS is a whole new way of enjoying music

Georgia Homer-Hughes

when is the next reaction to rise of bangtan im really enjoying your pattern find myself waiting for the next

jaredandjordanBTS

Hi Georgia! Our next MV reaction will be coming tomorrow (related to ROB chapter 3!) and then another one Thursday 😊 we’re hoping to release our reaction to the full chapter on Saturday! 💜

Georgia Homer-Hughes

Amazing I can’t wait for it !! Thanks for the quick reply really loving the videos and I really think you will enjoy the next chapter 💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Thanks so much for your support 😊 cannot wait to share the next chapter with you!!

leat

if you watch the explanation video the images makes alot more sense https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j12lGmsY1ZI Korea has a way of speaking in symbolism and images you can see that in kdramas also. that´s what drew me to korea in the first place not BTS but BTS made it way more special.

Ree

Kenya girl u over here too😂👋🏽 and great choice

Ree

I appreciate this reaction so much. I watched this video so many times and never understood the images that went along with the lyrics. I like how Carmel compared it to dreams and I agree, not all dreams make sense. It’s dope to see everyone’s own interpretation on this one.

PamTan

You still need to learn how to introduce BTS to somebody new hahaha. First you have to ask about their musical taste and find a song of that genre, usually every ARMY vibe with different songs. I was not a fan of Singularity at the beginning, but after listen to the whole album I understood the meaning and the song changed completely for me.

jaredandjordanBTS

Ahhh we cannot wait for this! N.O. and Attack of Bangtan will be the next two songs we check out! Now we are excited to check out the live performances. Thank you for your love and support SugaMint 😊💜

jaredandjordanBTS

You're spot on Lucia! BTS will find them when they are ready 💜 BORAHAE!

jaredandjordanBTS

Thanks so much for your comment Daphne! STIGMA is on our list :) we cannot wait to get to it, as it appears to be HIGHLY popular amongst ARMYs haha BORAHAE!! 💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

We feel the exact same way Meagan! The fact that they were respectful and kind is all that matters. BTS will come sneaking up on them one day when they need it most 💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Thanks for this comment Aja! You're spot on...it was a bit of a shock (especially for Jared) to hear that they weren't particularly impressed. But we truly appreciate their sincere feedback. We wish we had more time with them to deconstruct the meaning behind the song. Perhaps an oversight on our end. Maybe next year when we see them again at the festival haha...but we truly appreciate your genuine comment and cannot wait to share more reactions with you!! 💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Yes, we were so appreciative of their honesty as well Veronica! 💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Thanks so much Amani and Tri!! Your point about duality is key, and in hindsight, we wish we had explained this to them in the moment. Nonetheless, we appreciated their honest feedback. BORAHAE!! 💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Thank you for this comment MelBe!! Cathy and Carmel definitely have Charisma :) And your suggestion to check out some of the more upbeat songs is well taken. We have to learn how to introduce BTS to others haha 💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Thank you Tanya!! Your honesty is so refreshing. We're certain that your experience is similar to that of sooooo many other ARMYs when they first listened to BTS. Your point that "BTS doesn't write meaningless love songs" is such a BEAUTIFUL way of phrasing it. This will be stuck in our minds for awhile now. We truly appreciate you 💜💜💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Thank you all so much for your comments here. You are SPOT ON. We wish we would have spent some time deconstructing the song with Cathy and Carmel, but we are so appreciative that they remained open-minded and respectful. Thank all of you for your support of our YouTube and Patreon. It means everything...and more. BORAHAE!! 💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

This sounds interesting! Did they host the Jimmy Fallon show for an entire week?? Perform? 💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Thank you for your comment Heather! It was definitely a bit shocking for us to realize that Cathy and Carmel didn't fall in love with the song like we has. However, you're right...context is everything! Fake Love is a song we still need to get to as well 💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Thank you Alishea!! it warms our hearts to hear that you enjoyed the reaction. Next up is N.O.! We're excited to share our reaction with you 💜 and then Attack on Bangtan...before we watch Chapter 3 of Rise of Bangtan! Can you tell we're excited? Haha

jaredandjordanBTS

You're exactly right Angie! If we all liked the same things there would be no need for differences. SPOT ON. We are intrigued to hear more about your story behind "Love Myself" causing you to break down. Perhaps we can get into this more when we CHAT ;) BORAHAE!! 💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Thanks so much for your comment Glaseon!! Your analysis is ON POINT. Context is everything, especially when people are listening to BTS for the first time. You can recommend any artist you'd like to us by sending us a message on instagram if you can 💜 and nope, we haven't changed our minds about creating a chat yet! This is something we're working on. It may take a few more weeks. We love your questions 💜💜💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

You're spot on Layla! They were open-minded, kind, respectful, and very eloquent. We appreciated every minute of it. And we appreciate you as well 💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Right!?!? Jared was really taken aback after Cathy and Carmel left the room haha to him, this song is also "one of the most incredible pieces of music to grace my ears." It just goes to show that we all have our own tastes and preferences. 💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Thank you Sarah! More music reactions coming this week 😊💜

jaredandjordanBTS

This is incredible advice! Thank you so much! We will absolutely work on expanding our own exposure and knowledge of BTS' discography before having others react to the few songs we have already heard 💜 we were very eager to share haha 😂 BORAHAE!!

jaredandjordanBTS

Thanks so much for this beautiful and honest comment Elizabeth! You have so much more musical knowledge and experience than we do, and we cannot wait to listen to some of your favorite songs. We totally understand your not being able to visit the sites of those who just don't get it!! We purple you MUCH MORE. 💜 💜 💜 💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Oh really! That is fascinating to hear Frances. It intrigues us and makes us want to take a look at your 200 song playlist 💜 You're exactly right. BTS has songs for EVERYONE. Borahae 💜 💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Ah your suggestion is wonderful, Marly! Having them listen to 3-4 songs with different genres would be interesting, and would allow them to experience a bit more diversity. We truly appreciate your comment and support 💜💜

Alishea

Yes! Both songs are amazing and you will definitely have fun listening to Attack on Bangtan 😄 I'm excited right here with you guys 🥳💜

Jared and Jordan thank you for your comment. Tears came to my eyes because I do highly value your comments. I love so many songs by BTS and the individual members from Joke by Nam-joon (RM), House of Cards Live by the Vocal Line, to Cyphers 1-4 by the Rap Line and all the performances in between. I will be 69 next month and I never in a million years thought I would end up becoming a member of BTS ARMY and joining you guys on Patreon because your reactions are stellar and spot on. So I will be here waiting for you two videos and comments! BORAHEA (OT7💜×7)

Although I am opposed to the patron concept, I subscribe to your patron account because I really enjoy watching your genuine reactions to BTS content. However, I was hoping that since we are paying $5 per month to you guys like any other subscriber, we would receive more content from you guys on a regular basis. I didn't find anything particularly unique about your patron service compared to YouTube; we receive reactions to videos once a week, occasionally. sorry hope u didn't mind I really love your reaction I just want more content since I am paying

All due respect Sadia, it might be challenging for them to put out even more content than they already have. 3 videos a week seems like alot to me. Also, they do have jobs and lives and as you know, there is so much content that is almost overwhelming to go thru. I understand you are paying for a subscription, however please be a little patient. They are doing a great job with the content and requests. They are new to this journey so give them time 🙂

Sadia Rahman

I just subscribe to them because I really love them and their reaction, but they are doing wonderful as said. I was hoping for more because I really love their reaction, and these two boys are amazing, but you are right—I should give them a little more time.

My mom and the beautiful ladies are very similar. She reacted almost the exact same way as them. She appreciates their dancing and the music but she prefers to listen to their 3 English songs + Bad Decisions that recently came out. I have to say that I'm so thankful to her because like these ladies she is still willing to give any song or video about them a try before she says she dislikes it or not. I got her hooked on their funny videos though. She like me can see when someone is being themselves and actually having a good time, not just because there are cameras on them. So far she likes JHope and RM the most because of their expressions and how they react to things. Slowly but surely I will make my mom an Army as well. Borahea! Thanks for the quality content you guys give us every time!

화은 김(Jullisa)

I prefer your pick! (Jared&Jordan's). They sound more comfortable with speaking Korean in this song..! Japan Tour one was great one, too. But always original one is the better.(my personal opinion)

Angie7

Yes just let me know when you decide to do this so I can have my daughter on hand to help me because I’m truly computer illiterate 😜and I’d have to use her laptop 💜💜💜

Trinda 💜

Although they said they wouldn't listen to the song again, I'm glad they didn't just throw it out and appreciated the song for what it was. I love that. Jared and Jordan please listen to Stigma by V when you have a chance. It is really beautiful and as much as you guys enjoy Singularity, I think you'd enjoy it just as much if not more. It also shows V's wide vocal range ability. Love your guys videos as always!

jaredandjordanBTS

You’re exactly right J-Lee! It’s a matter of genre preference. We probably should have started with Mic Drop as well haha that would have been a new experience for us as well! That is a fantastic suggestion and one that we think we’ll take. There’s just too much content and music for us to hold off on all of their most popular songs, right!? Thank you also much for the suggestion!! We appreciate you and the time it takes to craft these beautiful comments 💜💜🙏🏽🙏🏽

jaredandjordanBTS

You got it! Next video dropping later today! Check out our YouTube page for a reaction to the N.O. MV, and then Patreon for an extended reaction to the dance practice, lyrics, and BTS Episode! 😊

jaredandjordanBTS

Thank you Dina!! Knowing at least a third of their discography before confidently recommending makes a lot of sense! We truly appreciate your feedback. This is incredibly helpful. With the MVs and tracks for each Rise of Bangtan episode, it may be difficult for us to react to 1 episode each week, but definitely every two weeks! You’re so right about feeling like our reactions are all over the place. We’ve dabbled in a lot of different types of content, and sticking to ROB will help provide structure 😊 This comment is one we will treasure. It does not come off as negative AT ALL! It is truly constructive criticism at its best, and we hope you’ll continue to keep providing it to us 😊💜🙏🏽 Borahae!!

jaredandjordanBTS

Thank you for this comment!! You are exactly right. We are so appreciative that they went into the song with open minds and did not mock it I’m any way. BORAHAE!!! 💜💜

jaredandjordanBTS

Yes!! That was an oversight on our part. We should have spent time explaining more about the song to them! Thank you for your comment 💜💜

And

Yes I agree, Liz! 3 high quality videos a week + their jobs and lives outside of YouTube & Patreon is A LOT. Even though I would love 10 videos a day I don’t want to see them get burnt out from creating content just to create content.

J-Lee

Yeah, Mic Drop is always a good way for me to go. Just in the mention of what the song is about, my friends gain interest listening to it. RM came up with the inspiration for the song when he watched former Pres. Obama's speech where he dropped his mic after his impressive speech. So the song was basically made for BTS' haters, that's why RM called it Mic Drop. Plus the outstanding choreo as usual - it's really amazing, can't wait for you to get there. Thanks guys for taking suggestions every single new video you drop. I know it must've been a lot for you both to take in and accommodate what everyone was requesting, so I hope it's not getting too much for you. I am also trying to suggest what hopefully can help you guys so you won't get burnt out of what you're doing for us. But I believe you'll soon get a hang of this, now that you've touched abit of almost every content that everyone wished you'd get to. So thank you, once again 🙏 Borahae 💜💜💜

I can appreciate when people don’t like the songs they hear because that’s their preference and I can respect that. They weren’t disrespectful just giving an honest opinion. The truth is that some BTS songs click with me right off and some hit me later depending on whereI am. Loved this.

Braided Bread Loaf

Thank you for the reaction! I loved the honest and respectful opinions. I've heard a few other people also say that they are surprised by the fast pace of the choreo as compared to the slower beat. I don't know what the actual reason for this is, but I can share my own interpretation :) The lyrics talk about Tae's voice being trapped under the slowly melting ice. When the ice melts, his true self will break free, and he will be forced to face himself and the consequences of his actions. The choreo is sharp, restrained, almost frantic at times. In my mind, it represents well the trapped voice struggling to be free from the ice.

Mariana Núñez

I´m a twin, too. This choreo is impressive. No one could imagine of dancin like this at a slow music. It is beautiful.

Amani

I am a new subscriber and I hope to see your reactions on V and I advise you to see Singularity Live Performance
