ARMY, these album reactions are tearing us apart…in the best way possible 😂😂

We finished recording PART 1 of our reaction to RM's INDIGO earlier this morning and still have quite a bit of editing ahead of us.

As we had to do with MONO, we’ll be releasing PART 1 of our INDIGO reaction tomorrow, instead of today! Our apologies for those of you who eagerly await our customary Saturday (5pm EST) video drops! With your permission, we may have to institute a “flexibility rule” that allows us the option (if needed) to release some of the longer / album reactions one or two days later.

In the meantime, DO YOU HAVE ANY GUESSES as to which song was Jared’s favorite and which song was Jordan’s favorite!? Let us know in the comments below!

BORAHAE 💜💜

Comments

Cherry Valens

My guess is Wildflower was Jared’s!!! I say Still Life is Jordan’s

Kallie

Still life -Jared and closer-Jordan or vice-versa

Ellie

Please take you time! We'll be here waiting for you. 💕 - I'm going to guess Yun for Jared & Still Life or All Day for Jordan.

Maria Ramirez

I’m guessing Yun or closer pt.2👀 I’m so excited can’t wait for tomorrow

Amani ○°●•7

Oh egads ???!!! ‼‼‼ how the holy paJeeeezzzz could you pick 1 fav? .... guess what? ... ok so a 🔪 is at my throat right? .... Jordan? Closer or Change pt 2. Jared? Yun or Wildflower

LizP⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷

Hey guys!!! I'm looking forward to this. I wanna guess Jared's favorite is either Yun or Closer. Closer is my favorite but then again I can listen to this album on repeat without skipping over. Jordan...perhaps Still Life?? Not sure but as long as you enjoyed the album I'm a happy camper 😁💜💜

Aphrodite ⁷

Closer Jordan Still life or change jared

Ellie

I would also love to offer some links to help further your Indigo analysis that may not have already been suggested. About 2 days ago, RM shared an interview with HypeBeast. It is probably one of the most insightful interviews I've read of his. The original is in korean, but here's a translation thread by an army friend. Origional: https://hypebeast.kr/2022/12/bts-rm-solo-debut-album-indigo-release-interview#Echobox=1671098403 Translation: https://twitter.com/MoonieJoonieee/status/1603880093427781632?s=20&t=Ivszm-hv2ZX-H0HY9lCoLA I'd also love to recommend this accounts Indigo Analysis thread. It breaks down joon's lyrics, offers theories (some of which were confirmed in namjoons hypebeast interview), references to previous songs, provides background on the feature artists, artwork, etc. It's long, but very insightful - the author of the analysis is a 2013 army & joon bias. https://twitter.com/MoonieJoonieee/status/1600888205326184448?s=20&t=wYdBG9m199pHh1oMfOUzAg

And of course, other great content to consume from Joon's debut (that most likely have already been shared): - Indigo Magazine Film (bangtan tv) - interview with Zach Sang (one of the best interviewers BTS have met since their US debut in 2017. If you wantch the earliy ones back from 2017 & 2018 and compare them with the other ones during that same time period, you'd really understand why). - Live in NY @ Dia Beacon - Live in Seoul @ Rolling Hall (subs pending)

Iris

I’m willing to bet five dollars that Jordan’s fav would be Still Life. Harder to tell with Jared because he seems to gravitate to vocals and lyrical content more…perhaps Yun, Closer or Wild flower. Lol. It’s like choosing between my three kids… difficult to do on most days.

Steph

A flexibility rule is compleeeetely understandable 😂😂 We all had the chance to consume all the album content as it came out over a period of several days, we would never expect you guys to have it all ready to go right away, especially with everything needing to be thoroughly analyzed haha. As eager as we are for updates, we get that this can be a lot at once 😅 I think that Jared’s fav could’ve been forg_tful or closer and Jordan’s would maybe be wildflower, but I guess I’ll have to see!!!!! It’s basically 3am here so goodnight everyone 💜💜

morphee

i can't wait for your reaction i think jordan's favorite title will be still life and closer or maybe yun for jared personally i can't choose the one i like the most i will listen to them with the same pleasure in different situations or places

Kia

Ahhh I can’t wait!!! I think for Jared, Closer might his favorite but if not, it’s up there in the favorites. For Jordan…hmm I’m thinking Yun or Still Life (I think Yun for sure would be one of your favorites if it isn’t the top). I think you both probably really love Change pt.2 (especially Jordan) and Wildflower (especially Jared). I honestly couldn’t even choose my favorites just yet. Every time I start listing, I realize I’m just saying the entire album lol. But for me rn Hectic has me in a CHOKEHOLD. It puts the biggest smile on my face. So does Still Life. Indigo is yet another masterpiece of work from Namjoon. I’ve just been feeling so immensely proud of him. Always have been but with this release and lately it’s been even more so. He deserves everything. Indigo has been serving as my mood booster. With Jin leaving and a lot going on in my personal life, whenever I put on Indigo or watch any recent content, I can’t help the cheek aching smile that spreads across my face from how proud I am of him and how much I love these songs.

mheng93

cant waaaaaaait! i have a strong feeling you'll both love Yun, All Day and Closer. the first time i heard it i immediately thought of you two! 💜

Valary Atieno

So excited,I was even thinking about your reaction to indigo album, and it's like you read my mind, looking forward to it,thankyou

Anja⁷

Good morning everyone! I'm really fine with a flexible rule.Take the time you need. Here in Germany we say quality before quantity. U 2 have a private life and x-mas is also ahead next week. Although I have listened to INDIGO several times I couldn't take one song as my favorite, so I wouldn't guessing which song you both like the most. ARMY, have a wonderful weekend! 🫶

LYLY

i’m guessing forgetful jared and change pt2 (or all day) jordan. just because no one else is saying those two lmao

Miriam

It's either closer or wild flower or all day........

Miriam

Am so glad that there many armys that love closer 💜 like me!!!!!!!!! I think it's becoming my best. This album is going 2 age like fine wine 🍷

Ann Camille Sim

oh...here it is!!! can't wait! for Jared- closer; for Jordan - lonely or all day or Yun... scratch that, i think you both like all of 'em 😁😁😁😁

Saphy

I'm eagerly awaiting your reactions guyz. I think Jared's fav Indigo song might be Closer and Jordan's is Yun. I predict that you'll both like Wildflower, Still Life, Lonely, All Day and Hectic just a little bit more than the rest. 💜

Tiffany1013

I hope it's the same as my fave: Closer 🎶Duh duh diddy bop, duh duh diddy bop🎶 💙💙💙

Johana

Yay! So excited for this reaction, and of course it’s totally okay for you to release it tomorrow :) Mm like everyone else I think Jared’s favorite is Closer and Jordan’s might be… lonely or Yun or Wildflower 🧐🧐 Wildflower is just 🤌🏼

Anja⁷

@Tricia Thank you! 💜

Gabriela

I don’t know why but I think Closer (for Jared) and Change pt 2 (for Jordan) are your favorites! Maybe also All day for both of you!

Jani

EXCITED! I hope you liked wild Flower and still life! 😍🤩

fox

I don't think it's possible to guess a favorite song after y'all only listened once 😅 I am only hoping y'all really liked All Day 💜

genevieve higuera

Who could pick a favorite with like 10 different genres, 10 different vibes? I consumed Indigo as a whole and enjoyed and loved every crumb of it. A 74 year old great grandmother here, who is always blown away by the genius of Kim Namjoon😭😍💜The Album is an iconic Masterpiece. This album is Timeless.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Jared and Jordan please, even if you don't post it watch the RM Indigo Magazine Interview you will be speechless as RM goes into detail, the motivation, concepts and construction of the Album and we get to go inside the mind of a genius.

Daniela

Take your time, we appreciate you both! I would say Jared’s maybe Closer and Jordan’s Yun. My personal favorites are Change pt 2, Hectic, Wildflower…. But really the whole album 😂 RM recently released his live concert with some of the featured artists, I always enjoy live versions, if not through reaction hope you take some time to check it out! 💜

Hectic and Lonely are on repeat in my head righhhhhhtttt nowwwwwwwwwww... 🎵🎵🎵🎵🎼🎼 🌌🌌🌌🌌🖤

DinaArmyMom

Can't wait! No permission needed and no need to implement flexibility rules. Do what you need to do we can wait. 💜 This whole album is running through my head constantly. It can be any song on any day, multiple times a day. 😆 I don't know who likes what song but I think Closer, All day Lonely, Wild Flower, Still Life and Yun are someone's favorites! ☺️💜💜

지순

아 정말 진심으로 기대되요. 으 못 참겟다 못참겟다~😛💜💜💜

SilvrArmy

Of course we’ll wait! And I love every track so much - I don’t know how you would pick a fav😁💜💜💜💜💜💜

Juliann Terrell

Every song is a different vibe- it’s what ever you are feeling that day. I literally can’t pick one. Closer and Yun for you guys.

Eitan

You don’t need our permission to change the “rules” you made up!! It’s your party, take your time and bring out the best content you can. We will all wait happily :)

Eitan

I have so much trouble picking a favorite, it changes depending on my mood and evolves over time as I absorb the album with repeated listens. Like others have said, it’s quite simply 10 perfect songs so they can all be your favorite in any context. That said the Closer - Change 2 - Lonely stretch of 3 songs is probably my overall favorite part of the album. If I had to pick one song it’s probably Change 2. My guess on your initial faves: - Jordan = Lonely - Jared = Closer

Mel

This album is a viiiibbbeeee. 💜💜😍😍Every song in Part 1 is a favorite for various reasons but I'll say Jordan liked Closer or Yun and Jared liked All Day!

Biljana Monteleone

Thank you kindly Jared and Jordan. Indigo is on my daily playlist and I love how each song makes me feel. Grateful for another masterpiece by Joonie and so looking forward to watching your reactions. Stay safe, warm and healthy everyone. Borahae from California 💙

Melie

Thank you J & J for all your hard work!

leat

i bet Jordans favorite is "Closer" i have been thinking that from the beginning because of the Poul blanco´s rap it´s drake kind of vibe idk how else to describe it. but i could also imagine you love the title song and change pt 2

Andi Park

Jordan probably closer, and Jared my guess is still life.

LIBBY WILSON
>>97732669

I'm a 69 year young grandmother and I have listened to the entire album at least 5 times. Nam-joon really showed his versatility. He's not Kpop, he's not rap, he's not Idol...he is so much more than one genre. He definitely proved himself to all the nay sayers and the haters! Thanks guys I will be waiting for you.

Crystal

I think Jordan’s favourite is Closer and Jared’s is Still Life. But I think you both lost your minds at All Day

Amanda Vicente

OMG I can’t wait for this. I think the favorites will be Stiil Life and Closer.

blupand4

I did jump in at 5, lol but no worries! Looking forward to your reaction 💜💜 I thk Jordan’s lonely Jared’s still life hehehe .. tough guess! Let’s see if I’m right lol Mine is closer. All are great songs tho . Tough choices

Sara JIN

I can’t wait for this. I think Jared favourite is Lonely or still life and Jorden Closer

leat
>>97740693

i think it´s the other way around. but lonely i don´t see that as a top favorite. i think jared is more of a wildflower guy hehe

Alishea

My guess is Closer I love that song 😌

leat
>>97726438

but jorden is the drake fan so that´s why i am thinking it will be closer because he loves the more melodic rap. but we will probably be surprised

Jannae' Sifontes

Honestly, there are so many good songs on here, I doubt I'll be surprised at whatever they say. My personal faves right now are Still Life and Wild Flower.

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

Hey guys I was awake at 2:30 am when this notice dropped, deleted and dropped again. Seriously! GET SOME SLEEP!! I’m more interested in which tracks resonate with you, what moved you and my only guesses are that nothing about this album is what you expected it to be, full stop. One thing I will say is that “Lonely “ PASSES the MF’ing car test, hands down! Have you thought of a less edited, raw version of your process? Length and time are not important to us and it could provide an insight into the dynamic between you two. That could be interesting. Much love 🤗💜💜🇨🇦

Veronica⁷

It's hard to guess because they are all so good but if I had to guess...I'd guess All Day and Closer. I love the entire album. Each song is so different, bringing out different emotions. The MV for Wild Flower is what got me.

Bwana

You two are wonderful for always keeping us updated on your progress. We always appreciate you. Now, I think Jordan likes Change2 as his top pick and Jared likes Closer the most. RM made a right move in choosing Paul Blanco for that r&b grove. I predict you both Grover to Wildflower, one of my favorites. Me, I simply can’t pick a top. I love the entire work of art titled Indigo ❤️‍🔥

SkyWatcher

Thanks for keeping us updated and yes, we will wait for you, please don't feel pressured, this should be an enjoyable experience for you as well as us ! 💜

Ellysa Vaj

Thanks for the updates. Don’t feel pressured to rush yourselves. I’m sure you’ll always deliver us amazing content. Can’t wait for it guys! This album is such a gem.

Les

Im guessing Jordan likes All Day the most and Jared likes Yun or Closer the best lol

juliana

Like I said on the comment section of the car test video I can't really watch the videos when they are uploaded directly on patreon so if you could post it as the old way, on YouTube, I would appreciate it. Much love and looking forward to the reaction ♥️

Crystal
>>97783432

Ahh do you have issues with sites like Vimeo and Muse too? I have nothing but issues with those sites :( I have to watch on the lowest quality setting, and even then it takes all day with constant buffering

Kirssy Mago

Guys, dont worry we knownyou guys work hard and is the holiday season too. You guys need your break. I'm still excited and looking forward to the videos whenever they come. Jared (Closer) just like me and Jordan (all day or change pt 2.)

juliana
>>97755290

Hi Crystal. You asked me if I had problems with Vimeo or Muse and I'm replying here since I can't do it on the other comment. I don't have any issues with them, Vimeo sometimes gets slow but nothing out of this world. Wouldn't it get better if you download the actual app??

leat
>>97759885

me too and also if it´s the part 1 of the album they haven´t reacted to wildflower yet so i think closer is the one.

Rihab Bhar

I'm waiting on this reaction like my life's depending on it😂😂 But don't ever feel pressured to always give us reactions plus it is the holidays so yall defienotly deserve some rest💜💜

Lily

Take your time- we all rather have you both take the time you need as you always put out such in depth quality work and we all appreciate that.

Eitan

Question: how many of you while listening to Indigo have felt compelled to replay each song multiple times because you are simply not ready to leave that mood as quickly as RM says you should? So you end up stretching a 32 minute album into 90 minutes 😂 These days I often find myself listening to it like: Yun 2x, Still Life 2x, All Day 3x, Forg_tful, Closer 2x, Change2 2x, loop back to Closer one more time to hear it flow into Change2 into Lonely, listen to Lonely again…. ok maybe jump back to Change2 again to hear it flow into Lonely one more damn time….. then once I’ve fully processed my emotional state I’m ready to hit the fucking city (emotionally speaking) and bop with Hectic….

Rheichel Tormis

No need to apologize. I am sure it is a lot of work for you boys to edit long videos. Although I know most of us eagerly wait and anticipate your scheduled reactions…..I am sure I am not the only one who understands that it must take a lot of work to edit the long videos. I/we appreciate all your hard work in putting these videos up and your reactions. I will patiently and eagerly wait for your Indigo album reaction. Can’t wait.

Rishu

I honest to rm listen to the album on repeat for hours and its accompanied me in many of my daily commutes and just is perfect for winding down

jaredandjordanBTS
>>97761244

We need to work on getting more sleep but it's so easy to get carried away! Love the idea of a more raw, less edited version. Thanks Cheryl 🤗💜🤗💜

Roni

INDIGO is my favorite album of 2022! From beginning to end it is perfection and so relatable.
