ARMY, we have some questions…

HOW IN THE WORLD DID WE MISS THE SPELLING OF ‘ARMY’ IN THE “BUTTER” MV!?

Why didn’t y’all tell us sooner about the majestic, hypnotizing power of 3J!?! 🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻 Just kidding…we know you’ve been shouting at us from the rooftops about 3J for an entire year now! 😉😂

Today, we treat ourselves with FIVE additional pats of “Butter”:

1) “bts things you didn't notice in butter (hotter remix) mv”

2) “Butter” Live Performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

3) PTD ON STAGE LA (Disney+) Live Performance of “Butter” Remix w/ MEGAN THE STALLION!

4) [CHOREOGRAPHY] 'Butter (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)' Special Performance Video

5) [BANGTAN BOMB] The 3J “Butter” Choreography Behind The Scenes

We were certainly not expecting to be hit with an “Obsessive Compulsive Pursuit Towards PERFECTION” that rivals anything we’ve seen up until this point. This was truly NEXT LEVEL stuff, and we are eternally grateful to be able to consume it and share our reactions with all of you 🙏🏽

We realize that there is still quite a bit of BUTTER-related content left for us to consume. And we're a bit bummed that we forgot to include the Bangtan Bomb of BTS meeting Megan Thee Stallion. BUT DON'T WORRY…we will get to it all eventually!!

As always, we truly appreciate your love and support (WE’LL CONTINUE SAYING THIS UNTIL THE END OF TIME). Your subscription allows us to produce higher-quality reaction videos, and moves us closer to our goal of doing this full-time! Let us know if you have any questions, feedback, thoughts, etc. at any time! BORAHAE!! 💜💜

I'm so happy y'all watched the "things you missed" video 😂 those are always fun. Can't wait to watch all of this!

Anja

Haha! This escalated quickly! 💜💜💜

LizP⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷

I wonder if you guys noticed JK stumbled a bit during the Grammy performance as they moved down to the center stage towards the end of the performance. Also, the transition from Dynamite to Butter during the PTD concert performance is life!!! Can't wait to watch this video guys!! Thank you 💜💜

JunChoui

Butter related content...lol, bring it (even if it's only Butter adjacent!!) I had the "ARMY" spelled out (minus RM) printed and on a shirt in less than 2 hours after the song dropped. Sorry fellas :)))))

Alana W.

Not me commenting 5 hours ago y’all should watch this 😝

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

How did you miss them spelling ARMY in the MV? Maybe it was the 🍄🍄 🧐🤪🤷‍♀️😁🫶🏻💜💜

Les

i love Megan so much. ARMYs helped raise money to a houston charity in her name in honor of her collab with BTS. We love her and her bond with the boys. Funnily enough, this whole collab was found out through TMZ out of all places because her label tried to block the collab lmao. we had to sort through court files and make sense of the collab lmao. we are so grateful she came out. we all changed our twitter layout for the collab and Megan joined in! then we made her bully BTS into doing the same lol.

Angie7

We can’t tell you everything 🤷🏻‍♀️😂it will ruin the stunned look you get when you discover there’s more to BTS than you can imagine!

MistikButterfly

7:33 mark will never not be the most adorable thing I've seen in all ur content! 💜 👑 💜 I've been waiting for this realization. There is no ARMY without RM 💞

King

you guys are truly the highlight of my day...thank you for reacting to these videos!!

Johanna Ahoyo

Hello guys, how are you ? I hope you're both fine. I would like you to check this video of Jimin and J-Hope dancing : youtu.be/lTVny1Z0CQg and also this one of the 3J (Jungkook, Jimin and J-hope) : youtu.be/qROhqP1jryc They are MASTERPIECES You ABSOLUTELY NEEEEEDDDD to check that.

dyxqdthyfv

Are you guys gonna react to dark and Wild album???

Cara

Love the 3J dance! Glad you guys watched the behind the scenes too. Like you said, ARMY would have been fine with any take, but this really shows how particular they are with their work, and how they're always trying to give their very best each time. "real final final take?" 😂

J-Lee

Omg whattt! When you said you're gonna dive into more of Butter, I didn't expect it to be now! 😭 Wait-- I need to escape from work to watch this now! Work really is a hindrance to my ARMY life 😭 Btw, thanks for this! Love you both my FAVE brothers!!! 💜💜💜

Amiii

I‘m glad you watched 3J‘s choreography, the behind the scenes and the performance with Megan. I looove dancing, so I love to see BTS‘ dance practices and especially 3J‘s special performances or maybe I should call them the “3 Jacksons“ now 😀

Eli St John (Ellie) 🖤

5 of us watching the BUTTER MV when it first came out, and ALL 5 OF US SHOUTED “ARMY!!!!!” When we saw the formation. LOL

Unknown

Guys this is Nick, 3J's Butter choreographer review on the dance if you wanna hear him talking aboutthe dance. He reviewed a few more groups but you can just watch the intro and first section which is BTS(they already divided different section to each group). Here's the link: https://youtu.be/hw7O7lSpkgA

shelby🖤

megtan is the best collab to ever happen next to coldplay. most army already are hotties too so it was just an amazing treat. their interactions are so cute too. with all the stuff happening with Megan lately, we've been behind her the entire time. that's our girl. we cannot wait for the boys to hop on a Megan song next.

Abbie

I’ve lost count of the amount of times I watched this 3J choreography. It’s insane their so precise In anything and everything they do, as you said even if they posted the first take of this we would all love it and probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the first to the last, sometimes i wish they weren’t so hard on themselves but they are absolute perfectionists because of that, thank you for all this extra butter related content so soon! It made my night, anytime you guys post makes me so happy. Borahae! 💜💜💜💜

soyaspinsxxx

YESSSS I'm so glad you guys jumped into the extra content right away, hope it didn't disappoint! The Megan feature is up there for me for the best bts collabs, and the 3J performance is just extraordinary. All that work for less than 30 seconds, and all practice and choreo learning on their own time. Whenever you're ready, we've got lots of recommendations for more 3J performances and j-hope + jimin performances 💜

Raevan21

Same, Army, Same. I love my work but I've got BTSing to do!

Hyland

Jimin has an ongoing bitter vendetta with chairs. Its like Chair 100/Jimin 2 :D. This is a well known fact if you watch more lives/ RunBTS/ and BangtanBombs you will see his struggle. He won this time he jumped off the chair.

Kirssy Mago

I enjoyed it so much. They are always so committed to everything they do, even if it is something small, and Jimin like to make sure it looks as clean and perfect as possible.

Daphne Schaffer

I saw it right away the first time I ever watched the video. and now ARMY means even more because RM is in the middle, my bias. You missed the doors for ARMY in the video at the beginning and in the elevator, There is always an ARMY reference in their videos.

Yeontae

Now I excited for you guys to watch the entire PTD concert in LA ASAP. :)

Maya001

I loveee butter and Megan really spiced it up with her style it was unexpected but amazing! Fun fact when the BTS met Megan while they were in New York in 2021 they taught her how to do the hand choreo part of the 3J dance🤘👅 She said she loved the video they did. And the saga with Jimin falling of chairs continues 😂 it’s a constant thing lol chairs are his archenemies atp cuz he can’t sit properly

Sabrina K

I need yal to react to 3J Home party dance practice unit stage! They each dance to a different song

KarenH

"ice" on my wrist I'm a n"ice" guy... hahaha my favorite lyrics

KarenH

Every time I watch the 3J version, I'm mesmerized by j-hope's perfect flow.

Karla24.wintaebear

Proud to say I noticed the Army in the MV right away.

Alix Drifty

I was at the concert where Megan Thee Stallion performed - Disney+ did great in capturing the performance, but being actually there, I can tell you that from the moment she appeared to the moment the song ended, the crowd was cheering so hard that it was deafening. It was an amazing surprise.

Chris Augustine

Megan fought hard to do this remix. She had to sue her own label in order to release the Remix because they tried to block it.

Ellie

Ohhh thank you for checking out this set of content!! 😍

Sunny Young

GUys I caught it right away! many of us did. Because we have heard JK say many times you can't spell ARMY without RM.

Wendy stephesn

Jajajajaja All of us who work have done that every time something comes out of BTS. And we work to sustain the Army life💜💜💜💜.

Angie7

Exactly….I was thinking do I really need this job I gotta get home to see this!!!!

Tasnima

If you guys do carry on with Butter content, you should watch the 2021 Butter VLIVE, one of their lives after the release of the song, butter themed live where they share their thoughts, their reaction to one of the music videos and more, it’s a funny VLIVE overall and ONE of my faves!! Here’s the best link I could find on YouTube: https://youtu.be/9Lh9HQl_umY

J. Ezbet

I saw ARMY the first time I watched the video, it actually made me cry! Lol

Jess Horton

You may not get tik tok links because it might spoil future music and choreography you have not seen yet. The choreo could not have been more perfect. Each performance they do has new elements and it's so nice when Army gets surprises like this. They performed Dynamite over 30 times before PTD happaned and each one was different, in scenery, costume, theme, remix. Army stays alert for whats next and it keeps the artists(BTS) From getting bored with their own song. Learning choreography, the ratio averages that it takes 1 hour to learn 1 minute length of choreography. The behind the scenes process of performance.. many hours to master something so short. After they said final take, that was a practice day, and another occasion when they were wearing all white. That first day is to work out the kinks, blocking, and the camera crew to know their place.(my guess) Jhope is so precise and detailed I enjoy watching him work and attack every accent. That was the choreographer that stepped in with the dark pants. This dance was only made for this video and has not been performed any other time to this date.

J-Lee

Lol that's right ladies 😭😩😂

Jess Horton

Oh right I forgot about this. Army was 'right behind' her in support.

Joy Jenkins

Also completely off topic but I wanted to ask, how are you doing? How’s PT going? Also if it’s annoying for me to ask then please tell me. 💜

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

Not annoying PT great I’m at emergency with my friend who had a Kidney Transplant but some minor complications email chetipp@yahoo. ca if you want 🫶🏻💜

Kecia ⁷

I was there the night Megan performed. I don't think many of us expected to see her. ARMY went nuts when she appeared - it was deafening. We first found out about the collab when Megan filed a TRO against her label. They did not want her to release this remix, they thought it would be bad for her career (whatever!). The judge granted her TRO and the next day the remix was released. The way she fought to get this remix out will forever make me a fan. ARMY raised around $100,000 and donated it to various charities in her name as a thank you. And the bridge performance - when i first saw it on the Tonight Show I cried big fat tears. It looked so magnificent and I felt so proud of them. Kind of a silly song to cry to, but Bangtan just does that us sometimes.

Kimberly W.

Yes all 3 of them are complete perfectionists. One thing I love about them is they all made mistakes at different times or weren’t happy with the cut but you never saw them give each other a hard time about it. Always in it together & willing to continue doing it if they all aren’t satisfied even if they are tired. With the Megan performance I loved how they all were so inclusive to her in the performance. When she was done with her part & tried to move to the side you saw them encourage her to stay out front with them. I thought it was sweet they put her front & center. Also there is a bangtan bomb where they met her in NY I think for the first time (& her dog). They all seemed to enjoy hanging out together & they taught her the hand signals from the 3J dance.

Jd ✨

Jimin constantly falls out of chairs. You’d think a guy who has been trained in dance wouldn’t be so clumsy but alas 😂 it’s just a known fact that he falls out of chairs. Jimin vs chairs will always be a saga 😂 also I think lots of times we tend to forget that jhope is dance leader because of his personality sometimes. When you guys said oh jhope sounds like Namjoon right there in my mind I went “yeah he’s their leader”. Dance leader holds a lot of weight. He’s the first to learn choreo. He’s the one that teaches it to the other members. He’s the one that helps the other members when they don’t understand moves. He’s the one that leads practices. He’s the one that monitors dances in mvs for mistakes and imperfections. His job holds a lot of weight so he naturally has a leading mentality to him. and in Namjoon’s absence even when it isn’t dance related you can see hobi take over a leader role. There’s this one interview where you could tell Namjoon was mentally exhausted. They had a entire day of English interviews and for anyone that is bilingual and has to speak the language that isn’t their mother tongue all day and translate to others, that can be exhausting. Hoseok saw Namjoon was struggling to answer a question and he spoke up the staff to get the translators to help Namjoon out. Namjoon always says that if he weren’t able to be the leader that Hoseok would step up. I call him bangtan’s Vice President because if you watch him closely you can see just how much he leads even when he doesn’t speak (much like Namjoon). The 94s are a dynamic leader duo and when Namjoon gets tired and weary Hoseok is there to help him out.

Rae Avilez

Army lost it completely when Butter came because they spelled ARMY. Dude I forgot how freaking good they always looked in these performances. Like Namjoon on the bridge with that deimpled smirk had me melting. D2 was the only one that I didn't attend although I watched it through a live stream and I lost it. Army went crazy! We love Meghan. She fought her label to be able to work with the guys. I love this remix. 3J are always amazing.

Amani ○°●•7

Megan Thee Stallion is Army. She fought hard to do this remix and it is so BADASS. Now if only Beyonce (who is also Army) would do a remix ... heavennnn 🌌🌌🌌🖤💜

Jordyn

Yes, most Army caught them spelling ARMY on the first view. I know I did lol. Butter Era was such a fun time. The interactions bts & army had w Megan were great 💜.

Julie Kühnell

I love this type of behind the scenes content too! If you want to check out a similar video focusing on Jimin's style and obsession with perfection, you should watch his Black Swan solo shoot episode. It's so cool seeing him in his contemporary dance element.

SierraNicole

The whole time I was waiting for you to clock j-hope's ankles in the "must be giving Stevie" line. Go back and look at it. It's WILD. No bones. Megan was so much fun on this track! Like there was so much drama trying to get it released (she had to sue her label with BigHit's attorneys' help and pay her label $100,000 so ARMY turned around and raised $100,000 for a couple of charities she's shown support for to support her) but it was worth it. It was a very friendly collab. I actually was there the night she came out and joined them! It was such a fun surprise!

Melie

Yall are funny. I love this - it was really special. Remember this is during Covid so we missed them as much as they missed us. And I know you already mentioned it but there is a butter choreo that you have to watch that was released during Festa. It's so good. It's a choreo and also a practice version so no spoilers :)

Suttin More

I failed ARMY. I knew this day was going to arrive and sure enough it did. Butter was my first comeback (I'm a ON - "GRAND CENTRAL STATION"😜 ARMY) and I noticed everything. EVERYTHING. I even saw that RM was standing a bit forward to not mix with ARMY right behind him, but I always wondered: "couldn't he stand much further apart to clearly spell A R M Y. But was always where he was supposed to be, because he is R M: How DIDN'T I NOTICE THIS UNTIL TODAY? My ARMY card is revoked for one day, today. My brain is still ... 🤯

RhadAnne

I was waiting for this 3J content for soooo long!!! thank you. I am just smiling the whole way through. I have watched the 3J butter video so many times and watched each of their focus videos too. Perfecting a video that only lasts 30 seconds so ARMY will be happy? Only BTS will ever do! Also, another thing to add if you notice JK kissing his hand, he is actually kissing the ARMY on this video (ie he is kissing his hand where the letters A R M Y are tattooed) so yes. that is what that action meant.

Red

Jimin and falling off chairs… there’s a long history of jimin falling off chairs. There are compilation videos of jimin falling off chairs, his romance with the floor… for all his grace as a dancer this boy cannot stay upright while sitting

Joy Jenkins

I’m happy to hear it’s going well. I’m so sorry about your friend. Any update? Is she or he okay? I’ll be praying. 🙏💜

Lara

Reaction to more 3J dance

Shalia

Im never good at noticing those easter eggs. But for the first time, i saw the ARMY.

Joy Jenkins

Tae made a mistake in the PTD performance. I never noticed that before.

Joy Jenkins

You’re not alone, I didn’t realize it either 🤦🏽‍♀️

Joy Jenkins

The bridge performance is iconic because they all look like they are having the time of their lives! Also Tae is a fluffy haired poodle! 😂

Joy Jenkins

Fun fact: the bridge they performed on was newly built and hadn’t even been used yet. They were the first people to be on it.

Sabine Schubert

Dear Jared and Jordan, just want to add some more information to the performance for the Jimmy Fallon Show. This was part of the "BTS week" in 2021. Due to Covid BTS didn't come to the show personally but there were several performances (all filmed in Korea) for this show besides Butter: Dynamite, Mikrokosmos, Idol, Black Swan and an interview via Zoom... These performances are all stunning and impressive and worth watching, too. And there is so much more Jimmy Fallon/BTS related content. Of all Talk show hosts I like the interaction with him the most because you can see that he adores our boys honestly.

Fernanda

Oh my gosh I was there that day when Megan thee stallion came out!! I remember hearing people scream during jimins part and I was kinda confused why since nothing really had happened and it wasn’t until I saw Megan on the screen did I realize what was happening lmao everyone was so hype when she came out!! My video recording of this is hilarious the amount of times I screamed “ITS MEGANNN” BAHAHAHAHA so glad you guys reacted to it! Hopefully in the future you guys can react to the full ptd concert on Disney plus :))

Alice Song

Omg! Mind blowing 🤯 I jusst know it now

Lisa Montgomery

The guy in the video, the African American , is the choreographer

J-Lee

I knew you're gonna like this 3J dance video, not only the performance but also the behind the scenes as you guys truly admire and appreciate how the boys put a lot of work to perfecting their craft. And thank you so very much for getting to a lot of content all at once and as much as you can. We are truly having a blast in this community. Thank you, and you'll always remain to be my FAVEs! Borahae 💜💜💜

Anja

Thank you very much Jared & Jordan for this extra content. Butter was the first ever song I saw and I haven' t seen this Bangtan Bomb with the BtS yet. 🙈 It was amazing to watch the dance-line and how precise they are in what they love so much. Especially Jimin is known for being a perfectionist. Can you imagine how long it takes to do a performance with all 7 of them? 😅 Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, ARMY! ☀️💜

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

Hi Joy She’s back in the hospital but she’s ok. I hope she’ll be back home by mid week. Thanks for asking 🫶🏻💜🤗

Johanna

Hi Jared and Jordan! I hope you're both doing well. I really loved your video, as usual. I'm living for this Butter feast and really happy you're enjoying all this content so much. Since you alluded to liking easter eggs I figured I would try showing you a few. People might have pointed what I'm about to write before, especially since the reaction to the MV came out a few days ago already, but watching you catch on the the ARMY part made me think about a couple of cool stuff you missed. So just in case nobody else mentionned it or you happen to see this comment rather than another one, I'd like to point out a couple Easter eggs from the MV. First of all, the elevator scene. There's a few things about that elevator that you might not notice if you don't watch the behind the scenes or if you'renot crazy about making up theories like me haha. I won't spoil what RM says in the MV shoot sketch in case you plan to watch it but there's a detail I think wasn't included in any video, regarding the buttons V is pressing while entering the elevator. I came up with it on my own and they might have confirmed it somewhere but I'm not sure so just know that this might be off. There's a very short scene where we can see V pressing buttons in the elevator and we can see that there's 7 buttons with the numbers "B1, B2, B3, ..., B7" that I think represent the members. The B would stand for BTS and there's 7 cause BTS is 7. There's also a button with the BTS logo and a button with the ARMY logo. Finally, the button V is pressing as an "A" on it which I think represents ARMY. It's also next to the BTS buttons as the eighth one and BTS have said that ARMY is the eighth member. It also goes with what RM said in the shooting sketch (I'm letting you put two and two together yourselves on that one haha). Then, they might mention it in the shooting sketch so I won't get into details to avoid spoilers, but if you like little easter eggs you should look into the mug shot signs they're holding (no idea how you call those or if there's even a word for it sorry). I also would like to say that I just love how they made so many version of the choreography! The dance break from the version they performed on the bridge is the one of my favorite BTS dance breaks ever (with ON's) and every version is amazing in its own way. But there's one, a little less impressive, yet still very cool dance move that I particularly love because of its meaning. At one point during the chorus part they kiss their hands which doesn't seem like anything but is actually a really cute shout out to ARMY as they are kissing the spot where JK's tattoo of the ARMY logo is (you can see it rather clearly on the thumbnail of the Jimmy Fallon performance). So in conclusion, this song is not only a bop but also the cutest thank you to ARMYs and I live for it.

Ashleyder

Lol, obsessive compulsive pursuit of perfection is a good description for that behind the scenes... and you can see it's totally internally driven. Like, there is no one else telling them they have to do this or they have to do it better. This is 100% *them*, and that's why they've come so far, I think.

Ale

3Js shot it one day left unsatisfied and met again a different day to shoot it again. The second day the choreographer Nick was even there that whole time while they filmed . He’s the one going through it with them. Also I did noticed it spelled ARMY the first time I watched. I was focused on RM for his part, I saw how he pointed back while he said got ARMY right behind us. So I looked behind him lol It’s thanks to RM that I noticed it.

수진 신

빌보드 버터공연도 봐주셔요~~^^

Precious

I can’t believe I missed this!!!! The black guy that you saw was the choreographer of the Butter Dance by the 3Js. Maegan has always been part of ARMY. She said it was her dream to work with BTS and her record company fought her about it. She didn’t understand why they had a problem with it, but she won in the end. I love your reaction to all of the content in this video. Great job guys!!!!!!!!

zenna girl

The choreo they used on the Jimmy Fallon show is the original if I'm not mistaken and the choreo for the Grammy performance is different for that specific special performance. They regularly do things that way depending on the different stages/ venues they're performing in. I think they change it up to give it a fresh feel even though its the same song. Similar to what you mentioned in simply changing the background. Also similar to how they include awesome dance breaks during concerts. Thanks for the reactions I love watching you two consume it all. I know its a lot but I hope you're enjoying the ride.💜

863 kunharu

This video was created when after grammy. (As you know, They couldn't get the award.) Considering that, I think They wanted to show us not only complex choreography but only their spirits or mind.
