What's amazing about their music is that each song is what I consider a "finisher". There is so much emotion and intensity in the songs because they pack so much into each song with dance, visuals, voice, lyrics, etc.

i can´t believe i forgot about this song i have only heard the jimin highnote in compilation videos and i got tired after hearing that 50 times in a row hehe. i really loved RM whispering verse it was so full of sorrow. Suga was spitting his anger and frustration like he does irl too. the way they think and act reflex their songs. they don´t try to imitate someone else. they have a way of captivating us and making us feel their pain. so beautiful. it is a really long since i watched the whole thing and my god that was beautiful my new, new favorite song hehe.

DO NOT SKIP We On or Look Here (RM's verses in both of those are FIRE)!! I also love Jump and Rain. Finally, Paldogangsan is special in a really unique way--it's a song playing on different dialects of Korean. Could be a really good one to go over with Teacher Wonji. Hard for us non-Korean speakers to fully access on our own though.

Let Me Know and Tomorrow are both prod. Suga masterpieces!! Seriously though, that’s part of the reason they fit together so well. Yoongi produced both around the same timeframe so the production has enough stylistic similarities that they flow 😊 From the school trilogy era I’d love to see you do Look Here from Dark&Wild or Like from 2 Cool 4 Skool. Throw in Miss Right from Skool Luv Affair and you’ve got three funky hiphop tracks that have an insanely good vibe!

I personally think that the best way to get through BTS' music... is to go through BTS' music :) there are so many gems you could easily miss if you only focus on a few (requested) songs and you might even surprise yourself. I think it's more natural that way, and you also get to appreciate their sound and theme much more in that manner vs. just listening to some per era. But this is just me! Perhaps an album listening "reaction" - no need to do a deep-dive of each song but maybe ARMY can provide a summary of the tracks of the album so you have an idea on what it's about. As a viewer, there's also this anticipation of finding out which song you'd vibe with when you first hear it (like what you did with JITB, Mono, and Indigo). You can maybe look into the songs and/or watch live performances of the ones that strike you. Saying this as well bc BTS' B-side tracks get better and better and it would be lovely to see you go through them, too (aside from the title tracks, of course), and so you can listen to the albums that I'm pretty sure ARMY sent you! Hehe excited for the gift unboxing :D Thank you again for making my Wednesday (in AUS) bc this is one of my favourite songs! The radio show performance is one I randomly watch just because :)

I adore this song, it's one I listen to a lot. It's just a beautifully musical piece. I came to have mad respect for Jimin in this song. He's basically not singing for most of the song and then he is expected to hit an extreme high note, hold it, and go down the scale by just jumping right to that high note. That is insanely hard. On the first one you played, he was slightly flat for the first note. The 2nd one, he hit it perfectly. The stress he must have been under, esp given the hate he was getting for his signing around that time. To see him sitting there pulling it off in that one where they were sitting around singing it, blew my mind.

Let Me Know and Tomorrow are the Crown Jewels from genius Min Yoongi. My take is Suga’s verse is when you realize that the relationship is in trouble and you are reliving when the relationship was strong. Jhope’ verse is denial with a touch of anger realizing that the relationship is ending and RM’s verse is the pain of acceptance that it’s coming to an end. Jimin is screaming out the pain once accepting it is finally over. This is a beautifully balanced song that I still listen to 9 years after it was realized. Loved your reaction. You guys need to react to every song on Dark and Wild because it’s a masterpiece. ‘We On’ is a must

I would love for you guys to do the entire Dark and Wild album but if you prefer just doing a deep dive into individual songs that's fine. There are a lot of great B sides on the first 3 albums but as far as MUST LISTEN songs IMO you can move on from here. The next album is The Most Beautiful Moment in Life part 1...(side note this album starts BU /BTS universe) the title track is I Need You...when you do this song please also listen to I Need You /urban remix...it's a different version of the song and gives a completely different vibe. (I remember before you said you like to hear BTS do different versions of their songs)...on this album along with I need you and DOPE, please listen to Hold me tight (its similar to Let me Know) ...Moving on , Converse High and the outro Love is not over...

Suga produced songs hit different, they always happen to be my favorites such as Autumn Leaves (most beautiful moment in life 2 album). Dark & Wild has such great songs, honestly just listen to the whole album… I think you will specifically also enjoy Look Here- RM really shines on this one but also the whole song is a bop. I personally also like So 4 More, it’s a more upbeat song

'OUTRO: DO YOU THINK IT MAKES SENSE?' THE MOST UNDERRATED TRACK FEATURING THE VOCAL LINE I wrote that in all caps because that's how strongly I feel about this B-side. As soon as I finished listening to it on repeat for about an hour I ordered Dark & Wild, immediately! I could go on and on about how the production of this song sucked me farther into the black hole that is BTS's diverse discography, but I won't, probably not enough characters allowed in this comment box. Seem to be one of the few Armies that bring up this song even for a B-side. It's so rare I can't find much live footage of it. Another relatable one like "let me know". It puts the period on the album. Please don't skip over it!

I’m really happy you are enjoying the Dark & Wild era! Let Me Know is soooo underrated. Maybe because they haven’t performed it in so long 🥲 Btw- I also really like the deep dive format because it allows you to include fun bonus stuff and live performances. This means you get a more well rounded content experience and it’s similar to how ARMY experienced things at the time of release and promotions. selfishly this also means more J&J content for me! ultimately y’all should experience the music the way you want to. That said, I think listening to the full album from start to finish is its own unique experience. This is especially true for the studio albums like Dark & Wild and Wings. In the streaming era, not a lot of artists make music with the entire album in mind, but I do think BTS puts a lot of thought into how their albums are constructed and the story they want to tell, sonically and lyrically. There's a lot of incredible songs left from this era and the Skool trilogy (Rain, Look Here, the vocal line outro Do you think it makes sense? and the intro to dark and wild What Am I To You? come to mind first) but if you're not gonna do a full album listen I'd be OK with you moving on to the HYYH era. Because I can't think of a song that parallels Tomorrow and Let Me Know in terms of intensity, production and lyricism during the early years, and I think you're specifically looking for those kinds of songs at this time. Though let me repeat, there are still a whole lot of great songs left to listen to! So it's your choice really if you wanna come back to these albums a year from now 😅 Moving forward, MUST listen bsides for the HYYH era are House of Cards, Baepsae/Silver spoon, Butterfly, Ma City, and Autumn Leaves! I really love deep bass tones so when I first heard let Me Know Tae's deep vocals really grabbed me hard and I felt it in my bones. No matter how many times I hear this song the impact stays just as intense. I also love how well Tae and JK's voices blend during Let Me know. My fav duet vocals have always been Tae and Jimin so hearing this one showcase Tae and JK was a real treat. All of these videos were fantastic and had a bit of everything. Please PLEASE PLEASE react to RAIN from the Dark & Wild album! its seriously so underrated and definitely a hidden gem in their entire discography!!!! Its a jazzy, Rnb song (with rap of course :) ). The visualization of the lyrics will transport you into the story they're telling in the song. The atmosphere of the song is so amazing and Jimin kills it again with his high notes.
