HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ARMY’S SUNSHINE (and the Perfect Second Leader of BTS)!! 🌞

“I’M YOUR HOPE.

YOU’RE MY HOPE.

I’M J-HOPE!”

Today, we learn a bit more about J-Hope’s sometimes overlooked LEADERSHIP skills, check out some behind the scenes footage of him and Jimin at Hobipalooza, and watch a J-Hope interview Jung Hoseok!

We’re in awe of this man’s ability to put others before himself, and we hope (pun intended) that today he’ll let others put him first.

Hobi’s Birthday Celebration is just beginning! And as promised...another original Jordan rap on the way 😉

ARMY, as always, we truly appreciate your love and support (WE’LL CONTINUE SAYING THIS UNTIL THE END OF TIME). Your subscription allows us to produce higher-quality reaction videos, and moves us closer to our goal of doing this full-time! Let us know if you have any questions, feedback, thoughts, etc. at any time! BORAHAE!! 💜💜

I can't wait to watch this later 🥰🥰

Steph

Time to get fond over my bias 💜💜 Thank you J & J 😘😘

PamTan

Are you watching Jhope in the box documentary? It will be available from tomorrow in Disney + and weverse

Pacific Pacific

Am I the only one who checks the length of the videos before watching?? My excitement is directly related to how long a reaction video you post 😁😁😁 That's how much I look forward to your videos 🤭😁😁 Love always 💜

Joy Jenkins

A Hobi Rap to Come!! Yes!!! Can’t wait!! I’m super pump-ed!

mheng⁷🪷 ⊙⊝⊜

super excited to watch this! hope you'd watch the j-hope in the box documentary as well 😊

emiliemarie

oh this is gonna be fun!

Bery

The song that Jimin sang at the beginning of the video is "the truth untold" .. one of my favorite songs and the story is very deep.. Please please please listen and react to it soon.

Alishea

I'm soo excited for this!! Happy Hobi Day <3

Daphne Schaffer

This is nice. There was a time when Namjoon was so tired and burned out from interpreting for the group that Hobi stepped up to encourage Namjoon, and told the others to use the interpreter provided by the company. Since this video Hobi has tested as an INFJ... very different today. I identify with the way he handles things because that is the way I am. Still a great detailed, intuitive personality with lots of passion. At the concert Jhope brought in his Kaws art wearing the gloves, Kaws was also featured on his album cover. I know the guys back in Korea where watching pumped up too.

shelby🖤

that first video was so good I'm so glad yall watched that. hobi is such a fun-loving person it's easy to miss how serious he can be when he needs to be. we don't appreciate him enough. when they were talking about how he was the glue holding everyone together it reminded me of how he almost left bts predebut and jungkook had to beg him to stay. BTS wouldn't have been bts without hobi. I'm so thankful he changed his mind.

ada

Hobi our eternal sunshine 🌞

Valencia Begay

It was JHope’s smile that first got me into BTS. He certainly is sunshine. I am thankful he came back to BTS after almost leaving before their debut. He is special and makes BTS work well together. Love our Hobi/Mom

Ale

😭 I seriously will always support you guys. It’s truly amazing to see how you show genuine interest in them. You guys are truly ARMY 💜 I say this because at one point in time a lot of reactors found it was easy to get tons of views from reacting to BTS. They only reacted to get the views and not because they were genuinely interested. But you guys knowing that Hobi is ARMYS sunshine 😭😭 you’re really immersing yourselves into the fandom. I love that so much! Keep it 💜 I’m enjoying watching you guys navigate our purple universe 💜💜

Ale

I love truth untold 😭 it’s one of my top 5

Ale

Lol I read this in a yoongi voice

J. Ezbet

About Hobi and mistakes on stage: You have to watch BTS performance of Black Swan on Jimmy Fallon. It was the first time we saw that choreography and Tae kicked poor Hobi in the head! HARD! But of course, he was such a professional, you could barely see him react.

Ale

When you said it’s so easy to forget that they’re massive artists. YES. I always seem to forget lol. Because they’re so down to earth in their content and they make it so easy to connect with them. Like when they’re talking to ARMY in front of a camera, you feel that they’re being authentic and it honestly does feel personal. I’ve never connected to an artist when they say “ I love you” or they address the fans as a whole because it’s never felt real. BTS were the first artist that made me feel like they actually care about us. They work so hard for us! To give us the best of themselves. So it truly does feel like a genuine connection.

Ash

Your reaction videos are always the highlight at the end of my days! Ugh, about to dive into this. Thanks J & J! 💜💜

TeeDub1013

I knew you guys would do exactly what I did during the JHope/Hoseok interview and forget for a minute that there weren't actually two people sitting there talking to each other. I love that!

Kecia ⁷

J-hope is such a special talent. His smile and laughter always brighten day. This was nice mix of content. I can't wait for the J-hope rap.

Butterful

Thanks J&J! 💜💜 guys i was wondering will we continue run bts / bon voyage? or are we focusing on the rise of bangtan this time, also take your time with everything! i am just curious :)

Daphne Schaffer

One of my favorite video moments is when Suga was being recorded and a little down... he send in Jhope. (he needed him). Oh you guys have a whole candy bag full of vocal line songs... they will tear you up. Zero O'clock; the full Butterfly song with dance; House of Cards, Louder than Bombs; Crystal Snow; TRUTH UNTOLD... o my Dimple; Pied Piper; Friends by Jimin and V; Magic Shop; it goes on... and the lives are fantastic.

Mee!! If it’s not over an hour I don’t want it 🤣🤣

Pacific Pacific

2 am central time tonight.. guess I will be staying up 🥴🥴

Kia

I love Jhope so much and every day I fall even more for him. I’m just sooooo beyond proud of him and his success as well as just who he is as a person. I tear up thinking about it every time. Also #BRINGONCOPEWORLD (Laurie Brennan’s hashtag)

MinWii

COPE!!!!

Daphne Schaffer

I loved when he interviewed himself too. Besides being a cute idea - It really does help ARMY at this point (and possibly intentionally) to see that the members are two separate identities. One is the persona with a stage name and the other is the real deal. ARMY needs to know that they are two sides and the members should be given the allowance of personal boundaries from the public.

Abi

Yes pls💜🙆‍♀️

Jess Horton

This is my favorite type of content, It all started with Michael Jackson Thriller or Ghost, the rehearsal, the makeup, the BTS (Behind The Scenes). I lived for that stuff as a kid. Hobipalooza was called that by army and maybe Jhope heard about it. However it was streamed live so that didn't mean Army would travel to see him in person, just on screen. Surprise! All the members do bring so much gratitude to what they do. I don't think all artists can bring their fans behiind the scenes and it be wholesome. The album was out, the concert was over no promo needed and then we get gifts like this, for ARMY. It makes us feel like friends and family along for the ride. TXT is a group by HYBE. They are the the first boy group to be formed after BTS by the label. 5 members, coined "BTS' little brothers". They performed the day before Jhope and also made comments wondering if fans would come support their set. It was packed! Looking forward to seeing them live in May! So humble of Jhope to say he was inspired by them. I'm sure it made their moment to have Hope and Jimin backstage watching from the wings.

Johana

You guys have me crying in my room on a Thursday night at 10 pm watching this video... I truly can't explain or put into words how much I appreciate BTS, and J-hope especially. He is truly a sunshine and such a great friend. Thank you guys for another great video!

Cherry Valens

Oh my goodness, I totally do this… It’s the first thing I do 😂

Eternity 7

Thank you so much!!!!! Can't wait to watch this 💜💜💜💜

Uyen-Vy

Can you guys react to JHope “MMTG” show and RM “PSICK” show 💜💜

Eternity 7

I love and admire Hoseok so much!!!! I aspire to have the same determination and passion and commitment as him.. he always keep a smiling face even in the face of difficulties! A true artist. 💜💜 I hope I can be like him as well. He is literally our HOPE. I hope one day you listen to his mixtape "Hope world". That album was what drew me in this BTS journey. It holds a very special place in my heart. Thank you jhope 🥰 Thank you guys for celebrating Jhope's birthday with us as well 🙏🙏 his documentary will be out in less than an hour 🫶🏻

Glaseon_711

That's the way it should be 🤣

RhadAnne

I hope (pun intended) that "Mama" will be included in one of the videos. I loooove his live performance of this song. I was sad it was not one of the choices in the poll but I think it deserves some credit.

SilvrArmy

Hobi is a performer to his very core. But it has to be said - before COPE there is SOPE!😁 I wish I knew how to link content, but the SUGA-Hope duo is dynamic and very hilarious. As you segue into Suga’s BD some of this content might be a nice transition. Thank you as always!💜

Alicia

Happy birthday to Hobi! Love him! 💜💜💜

Cecilia⁷

I believe they said they plan to react to Mama on Mother's Day :)

Singa7⁷

Happy Birthday to our sunshine! Loved loved loved all of this! Looking forward to what else you have in store. Borahae! 💜💜💜

soyaspinsxxx

The song jimin was singing that caught your attention is THE TRUTH UNTOLD, a masterpiece I'm sure got recommended plenty of times 😂 You should definitely put it on the list! Loved the videos you chose for this reaction, and if you'll allow me.. 🚨 COPE ALERT 🚨 the j-hope documentary that just dropped on Disney+ captured their whole interaction at Lolla! So heartwarming to see hobi all starstruck like that. Hope you get to watch "jhope in the box" soon, it's SO SO WORTH IT

Noll⁷ ⦿ ☰ ☲

Happy Birthday J-Hope!!! Thanks for the celebration guys! (PS: The song you asked for in the first video was "The truth untold". Amazing one. I hope you will make a deep dive to it too. Specially the live performances) Borahae 💜💜💜

jyn.

Every time I watch Hobi perform my brain always goes back to pictures of how when Hobi sweats, it always forms a heart. Like it's some sort ofphysical proof that he's doing exactly what he loves doing. <3 Happy birthday Hobi! 💜💜💜

jyn.

Someone needs to give Hobi an oscar for that interview with himself. It's so trippy that I would forget that there aren't two Hobi's, but hey, I wouldn't mind. We need more JHope's but then again, nobody could do JHope better than Jung Hoseok. <3

Sarah Prampolini

Tomorrow will also be my birthday and I have never been so happy on this day, as I found out it was also Hobi's birthday. He is my bias, but he has always been a lot more than that. He always made me smile even in those moments when I thought I wouldn't succeed. When I look at his eyes I always see a light that I miss. She spurred me to follow my dreams and be proud of who I am today. He became my hope (lol). The hope that friendship and love can truly coexist in a world that divides people more and more. I really really appreciate your opinions and your content about the boys. They are natural and sincere and I really love that. Thanks for all your kindness and respect. I purple you

Sascha

I loved the way you introduced SOPE and I agree, this duo is hilarious 🤗 So here is some SOPE content belooooow : SOPE proving that they are Soulmates without even trying | INSTANT TELEPATHY, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwbBCV3WGr8 Sope Being the most iconic duo, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cz6YgoVeTVg PS : @SilvrArmy, I don't know how to link content either, I copy the link from Youtube and paste it into my message... The inconvenient being that if they want to see it, they have to copy and paste the links as well

SilvrArmy

😁Thank you!💜

Fernanda

The frame with Jhope, Hoseok, Jared, and Jordan was trippy ngl lol

KarenH

It's funny. Jhope and RM both talking about leaving their 20's will be a conversation they can have again next year since Korea will be officially converting to international age as of June, 2023. They are going to be 29 for a loonnng time! 😁💜

Lizbeth Martinez

I became an army December of 2021. Let me tell you how that happened. So my two close friends and I planned a trip to Cali the first week of Dec 2021. My friend, Itzy, planned to go to the Permission to Dance concert with a friend on Dec 1st, her friend was supposed to fly over that same day. Her friend ended up canceling on her 2 weeks before the trip! She didn’t want to go alone so she asked if we were down to go with her. Honestly, I didn’t want to go. I didn’t know who BTS was, I didn’t know about k-pop and I was afraid I wasn’t going to have a good time because I didn’t know any of the songs. My friend and I both ended up agreeing to go with her because we saw how much it meant for her. Thankfully, she was able to trade her 2 tickets for 3 so we were all able to go! LET ME TELL YOU that concert tops all the concerts I’ve been to. I had so much fun and the energy all the members had was so contagious so it didn’t matter that I didn’t know any songs because of how fun and entertaining they made it. I was in complete awe throughout the whole concert. I though the choreography for Black Swan was so beautiful. I’ve never seen anything like it. Someone that stood out to me throughout the whole concert was Jhope. I couldn’t help but smile when his face would pop on the big screen. He is truly a ray of sunshine. After the concert Itzy showed me his solo songs and I completely fell in love. He’s been my Bias since haha. I live in Chicago, so when I found one he was going to be at Lollapalooza I immediately bought tickets. I’m blessed enough to have experienced HOBIPALOOZA live!! He did so good 😭 I’m also planning on getting tickets for August D 😏 wish me luck !! P.S I’m still a baby Army so I’m incredibly thankful for all the videos you guys have made and for all the effort you guys put into each and one of them. I’m always learning something new. Your videos always brighten up my day 💜💜💜 thank you 🫶

Litisha Miller

j hope in the box documentary is amazing, you’ll love it, it’s like this BTS bomb episode on steroids. It takes you back to D-200 to Dday at lollapalooza. It follows the entire process of the album release and prep for the concert. Sooooo good 😊

Litisha Miller

Oh and he gets to meet j Cole after the concert, it’s on the documentary

Precious

Happy Birthday Hopey!!!!!!! 🥳🎂🎁🎈I would love to see a Cope callab! Great name Jordan!!!!

esther kim

hi! if you're planning to watch jhope in the box then i HIGHLY recommend watching it on weverse instead of disney+! the weverse translations are just more accurate and picks up the nuances much better while disney simplified a lot of stuff to make it more "family friendly" i guess?? so there might be stuff that gets lost in translation and meaning

rowanthea

Guys I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if J Cole and J Hope did a collaboration. I love that you watched the leadership video. Hobi may not be the most popular in the group but he is the most respected by the members. Now I’m going to scream this for the hundredth time OUTRO: TEAR at Wembley OUTRO: TEAR at Wembley OUTRO:TEAR at Wembley

Sabrina J.

TXT are the younger brothers of BTS, if there is time, you should check them out!

SingingSeaDragon 01

I wish I could see their reaction to finding out about jhope collaborating with J.Cole for Hope on the Street. Oh the shock and excitement lol. Looking forward to them fan boying like the rest of us haha!

Johana

Hi Lizbeth!!! I’m also a Chicago ARMY and only got into BTS a few months after you!! 🥰🥰 I would love to meet more Chicago ARMY 💜

Lizbeth Martinez

Omggg hi!! My Insta is liz.cx3 if you want to follow me!

LaNita Starr⁷

Sooo funny seeing this after Hope on the Streets! Jimin is in fact the Rock and JHope is the Pillar. They each have these roles that their personalities naturally fit into the group. It would not be the BTS we know without each of their efforts and love for one another 💜💜 This was a wondertribute to the one and only Hobi Won Kenobi (my nickname for him)💜💜💜💜💜
