This was undoubtedly the best episode of Suchwita that we have seen thus far.

Oh .. all the hints in all the Suchwita's of the 7 members. They already have the songs ready for 2025-2026. BigHit and Hybe are already planning the tour. While they are off watching 'Aurora Borealis', the songs will be released one by one, so we all can learn the lyrics to be able to sing along at the concert(s). What do you think?

sevenprettyboys

Yoongi probably meant the last of the members to debut as a solo artist. Jin and Jungkook already debuted as solo artists (The Astronaut and Seven) even if they have yet to release solo albums. 11:34 they're not mocking their younger selves, they're just imitating how music show pre-recording introductions and interviews usually go. I know you both come from a place of respect, so this is me coming from a place of love — I think it is somewhat disrespectful to skip an entire minute of important conversation just because it could be something you've not watched before. It had to do with Taehyung's talking about burnout, and watching a small snippet of what the song is about + the song, will not diminish how much it will blow you away when you listen to it later. I hope you both allow yourselves to sit in that slightly uncomfortable feeling of not knowing the full story at times 💜 I hope you allow yourselves to experience bangtan fully, without fearing for spoilers (there are always going to be spoilers. Most ARMY experienced their discography out of order, it's okay, I promise 💜). My honest reaction after watching this episode (again): i love bts so much 🥹🥰

K

What was the point of skipping it?

Maya

I think so too, as i haven't heard him say the word "album', just 'solo'. Maybe that was poorly translated. Plus, we had Jk mentioning mini album so

genevieve higuera

They literally SACRIFICED their youth for their fans, their music, their artistry, their craft. They sacrificed because that was the only way to express their SINCERITY. SINCERITY is what makes them who they are. RM said he " wished there was a better word than "Love" to express how he feels about ARMY". I also wish there was a better word than " Respect" to express what I feel for BTS. MAD LOVE💜 and MAD RESPECT 🙌 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

LIBBY WILSON

I enjoyed Yoon-gi and Taehung interview. Being a true BTS ARMY OT7, I thoroughly enjoyed all the members interviews on Suchwita because each was unique and different, which is how they all are. I honestly believe they are going into the military to get a rest! Even though they are doing their "solo" thing, the members don't let the world forget they are still BTS! When they said, "The Best Is Yet To Come", they meant it! I can't even imagine what 2025 is going to look like!!! This is unbelievable from beginning to now. I can barely breathe! OT7 💜 x7

yoongi has finally achieved his goal of giving a safe platform for his members tp promote their solo works. diidnt cry the first time watching this episode but the water works opened up the second time. Please watch those two episodes of RUN BTS, they're in my top 10 favorite ones and I always go back to rewatch everytime time I need a pick me up.

the burn out subject was brought up after Jin mentioned it in his episode. but he knew that the story was not only his to tell so V may have thought that he needed to explain this more deeply. but i think Jin may have decided to explain his side first since he was the one who made a speech about it. it was also really crazy to see how other idols precent at the speech and the commentator reacted to this. the commentator even said something about not realising how hard it must have been and that he was crying a bit i can´t remember. and i think other idols realizing how hard BTS actually worked. korea is known for working hard so that is nothing choking, but BTS was very ekstrem. they had 3 albums go nr 1 on billboard in only 11 mounts. 3 albums they wrote in 11 mounts it was faster than the beatles who held the 35 year record, before BTS broke it.

Thank i haved this so many times but its realy nice to watch it you. Thank you for tbis moment. I have a sigestion. Burne the stage and bring the soul are two amazing documentaries that i would love to watch with the two of you. 🇵🇹💜💜

anne

bts found me through my best friend. We actually weren't close at the time but I wanted to be closer to her because we had mutual friends and I didn't want it to be awkward. I knew she liked bts so I started watching their content and listening to more of their music so that we could have something to talk about, but I ended up loving their music and loving them as people. Their lyrics have helped me through a lot and I watch run bts (the show) when I'm sad now. I find it impossible to watch it without smiling. I definitely don't regret being part of army and I will always be grateful to bts for bringing me closer to my best friend.

Jackie

i have a very similar story to yours. bts also brought me so much closer to my friend 💜

Selina T

Dah, I assume we’re not gonna get to V on IU palette at this time which is understandable cuz there’s been so much V content and you probly wanna get to the Most beautiful moment in life era. But if you wanna hear another fabulous vocal performance, and you wanna see more of Vs wit and goofy side, IU palette would be a good one!

Regarding 2018 Fake Love era All of us knew of the hardships but this was new info ... that V and Jungkook both were suffering from extreme burnout exhaustion... Jin hinted at it in his suchwita episode and both Jungkook and tae are his babies.... I was a bit overwhelmed emotionally watching TaeHyung disclose this. Ill admit non crying me ..teared up. Eh ... skipping that discussion around Tear devalues this episode a small bit. 🙄 ... it helps understand tae's healing ... and also the raplines release emotionally to this exhaustive time. I woulda loved to of seen you two come outta your seats to the sound of Outro Tear. Thank you for reacting Jared and Jordan 💫🖤💫🖤🌌🎶💜

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

Tae is special, vulnerable, emotional and very real. They have all worked so hard and sacrificed so much to the point of emotionally breaking down. To think that he wanted to be physically hurt in order to just have a break, to rest is unfathomable to me but burnout is real. Tae spoke about his feelings in Blue and Grey about burnout and being completely exhausted. Now they’re sacrificing another portion of their lives to fulfill their enlistment responsibilities. I think being able to express themselves through their solo activities has been the best possible thing that could have happened in light of what’s to come but I don’t believe they realized how much it would blow up, how successful it would be and this is affecting their 2025 timeline. There is so much content to come out before they reunite. How strong they have been as individuals is going to expand what they’re capable of becoming when they reunite. It blows my mind to even think about. I have no expectations because I know it’s going to be beyond anything I can imagine. The song you heard at the beginning is Snowflower. The long text from Yoongi to both Tae and Kookie is the one discussed in the 2018 Festa dinner but you got distracted by hearing The Truth Untold so you missed some things from that dinner. You guys work so very hard and feed us so well. Thank you for everything you do. You have grown up and become wise beyond your years because of the heartache and sacrifices you’ve made for your family to overcome the grief you’ve endured. You are both incredible, special men. Don’t ever change because you’re different, vulnerable, emotional and sensitive, kind individuals. Love you both 🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

I agree Amani. It’s an important part of the episode and really speaks to what they were experiencing in 2018. I was tearful watching Tae be so raw and vulnerable. 🫂💜

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

That’s so true Libby. It’s difficult to think that this is a rest for them but it really will be. We won’t have time to think before they reunite and blow us away with what’s to come. 🫂💜

Amani ○°●•7

Ditto to ALLLLLLL the @cheryl words .... and feelings 💜 Borahae u and Borahae J&j 💜💜

viperine

I loved this episode, but I don't have a favorite out of all the members' episodes, they're all so precious with honesty, respect, and love.💜 I know you can't please everyone and you're doing great, but it would be nice to see you loosen up and go with the flow so you can enjoy the correlations, spoilers are inevitable I promise you, and vast majority of 90+ million ARMY did not go in an orderly timeline with no spoilers when they jumped into the BTS rabbit hole 🤗💜

Peach⁷ (☉ ⊖ ⊜)

Cheryl you said all i wanted to say & I agree confidently to all you said borahae to you, Army, & J&J, & BTS always!

IfraH

14:05 you asked if it was Suga's first time listening to it, well Tae said in multiple interviews that the only members who listened to his album in advance were Jhope and Jungkook. He also said that he recorded the guides at Jungkook's house and that Jk helped him by directing. "I didn’t realize this at the time, but I really didn’t show the songs in progress with my bandmates that much. In the beginning, since J-Hope was the first to release his solo album, he listened to my songs. And Jung Kook also listened to my work-in-progress with me, and we had a lot of discussions about what the direction should be" V for Rolling Stone magazine.

chantal bavaud

I love your reactions but i dont know why you always make such a big deal with skipping songs you have not heard yet. Its okay to still listen to it most of the armys did not hear all the songs in order. It still going to blow you away once you do the deep dive

Daphne Schaffer

This was the most real and natural conversation... when Tae can eat all he wants and does while talking, then you know it's natural. One of the things about the comback is now RM, Suga, and Jhope can write songs around each members preference of music and it will be so good.

Daphne Schaffer

With hand over mouth because he is eating comfortably - more so than any other guest...and he says "I'm burning it up with vibes." I lost it!!!!!

IfraH

Yes that long text with "I love you" at the end that Suga sent to Tae and Jungkook in 2018, is the same one they mentioned in the festa dinner episode

Beckyboo⁷

I guess you guys will need to cram through their group discography to cure your fear of getting spoiled 🤷🏾‍♀️😆 It breaks my heart to hear how the maknaes were so exhausted and burnout. Jin said that Jungkook shut down emotionally. Things must have been tough but they are happier and manage schedules better now. I'm so happy Tae got this time to chat with Yoongi, it felt like a proper closure on their past struggles and looking forward for chapter 2.

Daphne Schaffer

You shouldn't have skipped the Tear conversation... it would've helped you understand how important the song was for the members. When the rap line presented it to the members during that time they all cried... because it was what they were feeling. Researching the song does not cover what Suga and V just said. This makes the song even more precious to me. There are not comments like this written except that they were struggling. Don't skip again guys! And yes, the text they are talking about the long text Suga sent and said he loved the. See, you shouldn't have skipped it. Army had good intentions but now you missed the most meaning part about the song and the texts Suga sent. One thing they all know about Tae is he likes to arrange things like trips together. He dis the same with Wooga Squad... he makes the calls, the schedules, the invitations, and creates a reason to get together, he loves the members. He will be a great husband planning family vacations.

Maya

Man you really need to listen to their music so you won't skip or miss or be distracted from the conversations haha

Butterful

im wheezing i was ready for something deep 1:02:11 not "suchireflection" 😭😭😭im cracking up

😂😂😂 love you guys so much, especially Jordan and his 2020fun and Suchwita puns. Being yourselves is what keeps us all watching. Thank you! I think you could have watched the tear part but you didn’t know that, and it’s good to err on the side of caution. You made me cackle out loud at 1.30am so kudos guys, really, it’s been a crappy week and you make such a difference in our lives. Thank you! I can’t wait to watch more along with you, Soops especially. 💜

sevenprettyboys

I agree with you. Muting is one thing, skipping entirely is another. The suchwita editors put such scenes for good reason, that is because they know it fits well with what is being talked between the members. Watching it will help them get the full experience and J & J, I hope you try to let yourselves sit in that slightly uncomfortable feeling of not knowing the full story at times. It's okay, I promise. I sometimes understand the muting w.r.t songs, but I didn't get why they skipped that part because it had to do with Taehyung's talk about burnout. Once again, I KNOW J & J come from a place of respect, which is why I hope they take this into consideration 💜

LIBBY WILSON

This is why BTS Is #1 in the BU but on the entire planet! 💜×7

Cherry Valens

Hearing the Outro Tear part during this made it so much more meaningful, you missed out! I agree you’re going to encounter spoilers along the way, you should just go with at the time instead of missing out on the moment!

JessNunez⁷💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Besides the music this is my favorite kind of content. I hope one day you guys get to watch BTS documentaries "burn the stage" "bring the soul" and "break the silence" in them they SHOW you how hard they actually work. Also the FIESTA dinners so you'll get more of this honest and raw conversation between the members. P.S it's okay to get a spoiler every now and then lol when I started going down the rabbit whole I would literally watch some content hear a song that caught my attention run to you tube, listen to the song and go back to what I was watching lol Every ARMY has a different journey and we are here no matter the order to experience it with you guys! Lots of love J&J Borahae 💜

Tommi92

Definitely the best episode of Suchwita hands down😢It is rare to see V talk so openly about his struggle but we all felt the change in him back in 2018🥺He went from being his uniquely, loud not ashamed of himself to basically him shutting down, not engaging and it was so sad and heartbreaking to see him went through that. I love the combination of Suga and V, they come from the same home town and their interactions is the sweetest🥰Love everything about this episode and can't wait for that reunion of all the members💜💜💜

Kecia ⁷

The world is not ready for 2025.

raeven b.

I would've wanted you to hear Tear with the suchwita episode, but respecting the process, I hope that after you two hear Tear, you'll revisit V and Suga's conversation regarding the song and their period of burnout, because it's so powerful after getting that context. Ugh. Hearing about their burnout in general was painful. I knew it was bound to happen in their line of work, but hearing them admit to it just made it so much harder for me to digest. But I'm so happy they are past it. <3 This was such a good episode. Absolutely one of my faves, even though I've loved the whole entire series.

A. Brown

This was such a powerful episode and I'm so appreciative to how raw and vulnerable Tae allowed himself to be. Talking about burnout is one thing, admitting you were so desperate for just 1 day of rest that you wondered did you need to hurt yourself to get it is a whole other level of honesty. I also so wish you had not skipped any parts because it added weight to what Tae shared. As others have said, there is no way to not be spoiled at all but it doesn't mean that when you hear a song in whole, despite any snippets you heard, that it will diminish in any way the impact you would get. Also I know Tae has been having a great amount of content for his album but I really hope you will get to all of the major appearances. The show with IU, the spotify show, the live performances all add different aspects of what Tae is wanting to show us of himself. Tae said during Festa 2022 that he wanted to show ARMY sides he has never been able to show before and he is doing just that. However, if any are missed it's like missing a piece of the puzzle. Anyway, here's hoping you will do more reactions to his solo appearances while they are still fresh and showcasing his current "musical color". Thanks for great reactions. 💜

Amani ○°●•7

Yoongi ... Sigh .... why isn't this getting any easier? 💔

LizP⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷

Jared saying "this BTS thing is so powerful, there are no words" confirms your understanding of what they mean to Army and what the purpose of their existence is. Your genuine love for them will make listening to Tear be more meaningful and powerful when you choose to. I respect what Army meant by not being ready for it in the beginning of your journey, however, I truly feel that you have reached a point where you can honestly appreciate and grasp what Tear means to BTS. I agree with those who say listening to a spoiler will not take away from your experience with any song. You already know I'm a fan of you guys jumping around the discography because new music is my jam!!. I can relate to Tae in that sense cuz I LOVE and APPRECIATE music from any genre in any language, from all over the world. This episode explained a side of V as well as the members which some people tend to forget, that they are humans too. Thank you Jared and Jordan for this reaction and all your reactions you gift us. It takes so much work, time and effort to create what you release and sometimes I think some people who demand more content tend to forget that you are human as well. I am so honored to be a part of your BTS journey and whatever you decide to react on I fully support you. I think your fandom name should be called the Twinners 😂 I'd proudly be the fanclub president 😄 Love you guys and thank you 💜🫶💜😉

prachi sahu

I really hope you react to tear and the 2018MAMA(artist of the year) speech where V cried so much. Tear was soo powerful and going into this song knowing the context behind is very important. PS- If you decide to react to this song just know that they are talking about 2 type of TEAR( 1. tear , 2. ripping something ) You can hear two type of pronunciation.

Aanchal Malla

What is the first song played here??

Same. I wish they would all just do it now and get it over with. This way seems more difficult and time is getting shorter for 2025 😞

LaNita Starr⁷

I'm dead hahaha Jordaaaaaaaan! You are a special human being. I love how raw and vulnerable you are. Thanks for always being true and open minded and adorable. Ok ok ok... this is the second song you guys have mentioned out of order.. On and Outro Tear... these are gonna blow your socks off! I loved this reaction. I literally cried watching this. It was so deep and heartfelt. Then the ending with all the members was kindove like closure officially, so now they can all seve. Even though we still don't have JKs album 🤦🏾‍♀️ I hope you guys are resting in-between your content so you don't get burnt out. I don't mind watching you guys eat, even green bananas 🤭 I don't think I have had official burn out yet, but with my health issues I can't afford to push my body to breaking. So I rest right before burn out would have hit me. Thanks for caring. 💜💜💜💜 Borahae 💜💜💜

Aaah.. How y'all feeling? Yoongi...💔 I've been thinking hard about this today. It feels like separation anxiety, at least for me, because they're like trusted friends of sorts, that have seemingly always been there in our corner cheering for us to find happiness and purpose. Relatable and reliable. It's hard when reliability changes through no one's fault..It's a powerless feeling and brings feelings of grief. Hobi is my bias and it stung bad, as well as with Jin, but I didn't expect Yoongi to feel like such a massive loss for me. They all are/will be a huge loss, but something about our sage old soul going away. He's comfort personified.😭💔 I think Namjoon will hit me even harder because his words have saved me and continue to over and over and over. At least Jin is over half way done. 😭😭💜

-Mac-

It's so weird. When Jin left, I was OK → But I haven't missed a single monthly msg, I smile so big when they come, and panic if I can't find it when I expect it. Hobi left and I was OK, because Jin was there to meet him and they all sent him off like JIn. I was sad but felt like Hobi was safe. [then I heard about that nurse and felt ten types of panic.] → I LOVED seeing them both at D-Day, and I look at Hobi's returning pics in his BDU's often. It's soothing. Yunki's imminent departure has me in my feelings → Mini-anxiety attack, and sulk mode engaged. I hugged Mang so tight last night and it was the first thing I remembered this morning. He's one of JK's wreckers and now I'm afraid of what I'll be like when Koo leaves. He'll complete his service June 21, 2025, and I'm already counting days. 😢🥺😢

viperine

🥺 I think by the time the maknae line go it'll feel so surreal.

Erin

I loved this episode! 💜😭 I was officially in a “pre-burn out” in 2017 and the doc said if I didn’t change something major, I would plow right into a full on burn out. I have never felt anything like that and it took me about a year to balance rest and continuing life/work and climb out of that exhaustion. A lot of it came with learning about myself, my limits and boundaries. So when I hear Tae talk about it, it touches a very deep part of me that struggled with the same feelings of exhaustion, feeling like nothing was possible and took colossal amounts of effort to just do simple things. I’m so glad they were able to work through it, come out on the other side and look so good and healthy now- with good boundaries and self-knowledge! A burn out is something I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy - it really sucks.

Didi

I can, a thousand percent, relate when you said you’ve never felt anything like that. I had an idea in my head of what burnout meant but when I experienced it, it was a lot more than I expected, and it was SCARY. I got Covid and that to me felt like I could finally rest. This made me force myself to leave my desk exactly at 5 most days as well as initiate no-meeting time blocks for my team so we can get our work done and prevent burnout. It’s been over a year, and now I’m just beginning to feel like myself again. I will never let that happen again. Ugh. 😩

Erin

I’m so glad that you’re beginning to feel like yourself again and that you were able to put some good work boundaries in place to help you and your team to avoid future burn outs! It does get better - just keep moving forward one step at a time. There have been 2 times in my post-burnout years that I have started to burn the candle at both ends, but my body and mind still remembers the burn out and throws out some pretty big red flags and has gotten me to re-evaluate my boundaries to set healthier ones. You’ve got this! I’m rooting for you 💜

Jordyn

Finally able to go on a J and J marathon to catch back up on what I missed. So much going on rn so this episode (and Layover & it's promotions) has been a breath of fresh air. I really loved listening to their conversation.

NJ7

This episode make me feel warm🥰 Glad to watch this one with you guys.

Didi

I’m happy you climbed out of it, too — it’s a long, hard journey and it’s worth it to be able to know the signs more clearly and prevent it from happening. It’s truly a big lesson in caring for oneself. Thank you so much for your kind words — it means so much and I support you as well 💜💜💜🥲🤗🤗🤗🤗

N ♡

Omg i can't wait until you guys listen to tear😭😭😭😭😭

Ellysa Vaj

Love love this reaction. Like you Jared, I'm always at a lost for words trying to explain what BTS means to me because the feeling inside is so much more than words can express.

JenR

Heads up, this is gonna be a long comment. Firstly, I’ve long since passed the point of trying to pick favourites for most things BTS related. And Suchita is a great example of this because each member’s episode has given us so much - I can't choose or rank them and don't know how anyone does. I think about the joy Jungkook’s singing and directness from his episode brought me, the special and relaxed bond between Jimin and SUGA, the amount of hope for the future J-Hope’s episode brought, the insight and love of Jin’s, the philosophical and in-depth thoughts of RM, and V’s vulnerability, and I wonder how I could ever compare them. Just like you said, I’m so grateful SUGA made this show so that we could have these moments. You asked us to talk about if we’ve ever experienced similar feelings of burnout like V expressed in this episode. I don’t normally go super deep on my own history, but this episode with V really helped me process some stuff. So I thought I would share it here. In January 2022 I was medically diagnosed with burnout. I had surgery in October 2021 and felt guilty about taking 3 weeks off work. So I rushed the healing process and as soon as I was allowed to work again I jumped into 6 long days a week at my physical job as a way to make myself feel less inept. I was also running away from surgery related trauma at the time, and because I paid for the surgery out of pocket I was rushing to recoup that financial security I’d had before. I honestly was doing well, or so I thought. Until Christmas came and my work took a week off. Returning to work afterwards, I felt like some piece of me was missing. I couldn’t get the rhythm right anymore. I stopped being able to sleep, or eat, and even being able to recognise my own emotions became impossible. If someone asked me how I was, in my head I was running through a list of happy? Sad? Angry? and being unable to attach myself to any of them. I was numb and apathetic, but at the same time experiencing extreme mood swings where one little thing would start this long mental deluge of negativity. This then lead to thoughts of what is the point of anything? Why am I doing this? Why does anyone do anything? Would it matter if I stopped working? Who would care? And yes, thoughts of, “I can’t stop, but if I were to get sick/injured maybe things would stop long enough for things to get better." Honestly hearing V vocalise that thought was like a slap to my face because it’s weird to have someone say one of your thoughts out loud, especially when you didn’t realise you had that in common. So I got diagnosed by my physician with burnout and he asked if I could reduce my hours at work. And I said I’d try but really I didn’t care about myself enough then to try hard enough. I kept saying saying yes when people asked me to do things, thinking it would pay off somehow in the future. And then I injured my back by partially slipping a disc. My friends often say my body has a way of physically stopping me from being an idiot because otherwise my stubbornness will just run on forever….except against medical advice I kept working. Technically I took 4 days off work with the promise to my doctor I’d do light duties when I returned to work and would see a physio, but what we all realised quickly was there were no light duties. I’d have to quit my job and I wasn’t ready to do that. I had a new goal to move to South Korea within 4 months. I wouldn’t be working this job then, so that would be the time I could heal (I am cringing so hard now thinking about this reasoning), and so I just had to push through. The good news is nothing worse happened for me and I’m aware of how privileged and lucky I am for that. As the reality that I would actually be moving to South Korea for a year hit, I was able to loosen up at work, say no to more things. I did my last day at the job 3 days before my flight to Seoul. And I had the best year of my life, though I was still dealing with symptoms of the burnout until end of February/early March this year. “If we weren’t distressed then we would be distressed now” - I had the same reaction to you guys over this nugget of wisdom. Because where I am right now is kind of a scary parallel to where I was in the beginning of 2022. There’s lots of instability in my life and I’m working a lot again. But I feel much more at peace with things - I know myself better, I can actually recognise the warning signs this time and respect them, and most importantly I know I can get through this and that "the future’s gonna be okay." During that whole burnout episode BTS was one of my only ways of experiencing joy, and through that I discovered you guys and your reactions. The rest is history. I don’t want to glamorise anything and say it was worth all that pain because there are so many healthier ways to do what I did, but I’m happy with where I am now in my life. And so, so, so grateful.
