I dunno if its just me but for a 12 year old, she acts more like a toddler. She didn't even act like this when she was growing up in Sorbet so why has her character had a random 180?

I’m with what brago said, it’s like now, she finally gets to behave like what she actually is, that’s why I feel like her place in the future would be best as a SH apprentice, based off her past and and what her kuma have always been dreaming about

What does being her true self mean? If you're implying her true self ,which is a kid, then yeah from the perspective of an adult 100%. If so, contextualise how no matter what age you are, the older generation is always going to infantize you. 'You're only in your 20's, you've still got so many years' etc. Regardless of whether its true or not, there's always an innate need for people to act mature in situations where they're viewed as the youngest or least experience and rarely ever are constantly in their innocent or 'true self' in which you guys are referring too, especially when you're a 12 year old! You're whole identity is to push boundaries and try act more like an adult Especially around other adults. For me personally, i would prefer Bonney to be more like she was at Sabaody, Specifically when she stopped Zoro from killing Saint Charlos, considering she was 2 years younger then too it fells like a narrative regression. No matter how i look at it, shes acting like the age of Ace, sabo and Luffy all together which if she was then yeah, i would agree with your points more. As of right now it seems like she cant do anything without an adult by her side.

i mean, u gotta understand the threat level everyone is facing rn... Bonny can fight, but shes never been shown beating anyone strong, im pretty sure the reason why she was "acting grown" in sabaody is bc she was literally in her grown up form, so she might have been actually acting, or her fruit makes her behave that way (not sure), But bonny was never that tough or strong. Especially after seeing her flashback, Bonny has always had a child mentally, and she finally gets to behave more like one. I dont think you calling it a regression is wrong per say, bc imo that was the plan. But bonny stopping zoro from killin Charlos makes sense bc shes aware of Celestials given her history with WG and maybe she learned a lil more

I don't understand your point as you're using reasoning i never mention such as fighting and beating people strong. This isn't what i am saying. I am referring to why is she talking about rajin coming into her belly button which is a children superstition, the same as telling a 12 year old to believe in the tooth fairy or santa. Aisa and chimney are both younger than her btw

Did people underestimate giants? I'm anime only and not really in the fandom but huh? I always just scaled anyone that's able to even knock one out let alone beat them. Kuzan and Dollface who've trained under or with Saul. An elder taking them out or even just a Barques Works agent, that's just power diff or just getting the drop being unaware. Besides this there home, fuck yeah they're going to pop off.

You’re not wrong, but how people look at things is most fans care about the 1%. The 1% are special and unbelievably broken so the average giant always paled in comparison. We finally see the .1% of the Giants in Loki so now they’re starting to get their just due.
