Jason returns to the channel after 3 years! I checked and Leona was the guest for Part VI so it's good they always did those recaps before. This has been called "Jason vs. Carrie" with a lot of people saying it was the worst in the franchise but there was definitely worse after this. Jason Takes Manhattan is the final film before New Line Cinema would acquire it from Paramount.

Oh interesting! We won’t spoil what we rated but we did think it was a refreshing change of pace for the franchise.

Wade Wallenstein

I always look forward to all of your thoughts after the reaction and your ratings on the edited version! I agree it was a nice change of pace with them also keeping the wild kills.

Russell

This one was very interesting with Tina (and her powers) and gave the franchise something different. A lot of people really liked it in the theatre. Part 6 was self mocking and cartoon silly, and 8 on was frankly a farce. Halloween and Nightmare suffered the same fate as they went on.

Wade Wallenstein

I loved that they had a Final Girl who could fight back extremely well. I'm still annoyed at how Halloween and Nightmare turned out.

Final Girlz

We definitely appreciated it adding a new element like that :)
