GUMROAD POTENTIALLY BANNING NSFW (Patreon)

Hey everyone !As you know for all my Packs above Tier 1, I use Gumroad to share the packs for you to download.But Gumroad has just now published an update indicating they were banning all NSFW content. I'm not sure what will happen and when, so I would advise to download everything in your current libraby so you have a copy just in case.

The statement says "is created for .... sexual gratification". That is a gross mislabeling of your content. I don't understand this move. If you do need to find a new place to post content, I just hope it's easier for you.

Sending the packs to patreon is not the main issue. A lot of people buy packs directly on gumroad instead of coming to Patreon.

What about Cubebrush? They seem to allow NSFW content on there, so I don't think your packs would have any issues there.

it's sad to see more and more platform banning nsfw contents. fantia could be a decent replacement since users can buy a specific past month. moreover pixiv booth and fantia also allows digital goods (incl. zip files, just like how you uploaded them to gumroad)

Patreon or Gumroad is not gonna start banning 18+ content. It is the chain of Mastercard + VISA pressure > stripe + processors pressure > Gumroad Patreon are the tiny fish at the end of the cycle There is a reason they both put this out on the same day because the payment processor says here's our new policy you have until X day to follow it. The new required policy is new legal words saying no rap*y porn. If there's a new article with something really bad with real humans they ban them and point to the policy saying it was never allowed and go on happily. tumblr etc banned porn because they were struggling with getting in trouble with showing ads right next to it. Which is not the same as gumroad patreon. It still sucks though that they arent supporting the people that create on their platform fighting on your side and instead putting their legal "we can ban you if you get us in trouble" :(

I will pay to be a patron whether your gumroad is closed or not. Honestly, I almost never looked packs, because.... they are so huge in my iPad. lol
