ENHYPEN Reaction delayed to next week! (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

I was supposed to upload my first reaction to ENHYPEN today. But I have to delay it to next week. Reason for that is that a lot of people have recommended "Fever" by them and as I was watching I felt extremely uncomfortable because it is a song that is more "seductive" etc.

They looked super young in the MV already so I was just sitting there, not really reacting cause I felt uncomfortable and after I checked out their ages, I was shocked to find out that most of them were minors back when they recorded that MV...

I dont know who thought it was a good idea to film that MV and create that song, it's something for much later, not when they are 15-17 years old like what T_T

Either way, that's why I got no ENHYPEN video prepared and it will be delayed to next week.

I will upload BABYMONSTER today instead and the rest of the schedule still stands!

Oh yeah that's also good! I know a lot of people probably wanna see "Bite me". The song is really good, the choreos too. But if you get this suggested a lot: Keep in mind at the time of Release Ni-Ki was still 17. He turned 18 the same year tho (if that makes a difference to you). The others were at least 19 I also gotta say: Fever has a seductive concept Bite me has a more mature concept I watched both mvs and they have very different vibes. Bite me is very vampire like lol

Yeah you are not the only one, their label was critized for giving them such a mature concept right from the start.... but yeah their vampire concept in general goes in that direction with love and desire as main themes in most of their songs . Bite me is probably also not the best choice then 😅 I would go with Drunk-Dazed or Bad Desire (:

tbh ,the members themselves acknowledged that recently that it would've been better if they were atleast adults while the filming of it. the company was heavily critized after that ,but the song was good .that is why i thought fever isn't the best choice for a first reaction. you should probably react to XO or Bad Desire

After No Doubt, I began following them in real time. It would be really cool if you reacted to No Doubt and started from there it’s such a great song and a really nice gateway into their music, you know? If the mv makes you uncomfortable but you still want to react to the song, you can always react to a lyric video or a more recent performance.

Unfortunately with Enhypen you’ll keep running into this issue. Only two albums have been released since Ni-Ki turned 18. If underage members singing songs that are a bit risqué is an issue, you may want to avoid them for a while. They are popular and make really good music, but unfortunately their lore is vampires and that comes with an element of sexuality. It’s not too intense, and maybe as an American I’m kind of deadened to the sexualizing of teenagers since I was a child in the Britney Spears era, so I may not be the best judge. But if it is something you are sensitive to, which I completely understand, then there are only a few videos you’ll be able to enjoy. I’d suggest groups like Seventeen, P1Harmony (who, while having two members underage at debut, haven’t done anything sexual), or Monsta X (who are MEN).
