Hey everyone!

The students were so adorable!! It felt like everyone was a Monstiez hahah, the energy was insane!

I was thinking, how are the members so nervous because they literally perform in front of so many people but then i thought: welp, i'd be scared performing in front of a smaller crowd of students in puberty as well LMFAO

They did so well!! Ahyeon popped the FRICK OFF, like holy shit. The backtrack is super quiet so you can really tell they are performing live. So impressive...

Was looking forward to this one, I think these are really fun. Those girls just lose their minds, it's fun and super cute, also super cool of the school to do this for them seems rather common in Korea. Never had anything remotely this cool when I was in high school. There are a bunch of these AESPA, Le Sserafim, ILLIT (more recent), NMIXX has one they did for an anti bullying campaign and met with a group of students afterwards to talk about bullying. New Jeans has one as well, they did one in Japan. Fun one, thanks!!

Baemon live is incredible. I've seen about a dozen different kpop girl group concerts over the last several years and no one is better than Babymonster at putting on a live performance. I can't wait to see them again on their current tour. Gonna try to see multiple shows! As a fan of many groups, I really can't stand the hate in kpop in general. It's sad the more popular and successful you are, the more hate you get. All I know is Babymonster sold out three nights in Seoul Jamsil Indoor Stadium to kick off their tour, along with all of their other arena shows so far on the tour. They also sold out two consecutive concerts at Kyocera Dome. That's 55,000 tickets for each show! I'd say they are doing fine. Anyway thanks for your reaction and support for Babymonster and many other groups too.

they are sooooo good at live... i'm shock again

Thank you for another great BM reaction. The "Drip" performance was released separately, but it was part of the same BABYMONSTER Dingo Attack event at Chungshin Girls' High School. What BABYMONSTER has accomplished is truly incredible. When it comes to K-pop girl groups, they are closer to the level of BLACKPINK and TWICE than any other current girl group. They still have a long way to go, but if you look purely at the numbers, such as YouTube subscribers, views, ticket sales, and overall engagement, they would arguably rank third, ahead of most 4th and 5th generation girl groups. Some of the hate they receive probably comes from fans of other groups who are jealous of BABYMONSTER's success. I'll never understand the mentality of people who can't simply be happy for others' success without trying to tear them down.

Some hate is so obviously forced - of course YG uses Ads - all companies do that. Music is always subjective so its totally fine if someone does not like the music Baemon publishes. But the things some people say about them (this goes for all groups obviously) are truly weird. if you take the official debut of April '24, they're on their second world tour in two active years. This August alone, they have shows in Japan, are considered one of the bigger acts at Gayo Daejeon summer along with Stray Kids next weekend, then head back to perform infront of a huge crowd at Summer Sonic before returning to their world tour schedule and then to Hong Kong for the Tencent International Music Awards where they are one of the groups that gets the biggets timeslot. At this spot at their career groups dont do all that usually.

My opinion on why they feel like a complete different group is when you watch behind the scenes or variety shows etc. they love what they do. Some groups in performances & other things. Feels like they just don’t know how to act & uncomfortable some times. Where Beamon news is perfect example. It’s a full blown SNL skit. They make fun of each other and laugh at each other. Make fun of themselves. They are young ladies. To have the confidence to do that. To not take making fun as a negative thing. It’s remarkable thing. It makes them a joy to watch. Live performances is really when a unbias person can really see. Oh these girls are different than the rest. Music countdown shows, won’t let them sing. Because if they did. The debate would be over. Haters though are secret to being really famous though. When so much hate that means polarizing & it actually how you know level up. Sucks but it’s human nature

idk where you are from, but highschoo in germany at least is super boring T_T no club activities (at least not the norm) and its just very plain... i should watch more of the dingo attacks hhahha

Jess

thank YOU for always watching heheh and yes i agree, the hate in kpop is ridiculous. i will never understand why people go for it. hate does not make your fav group do better

Jess

the hate is very forced in kpop especially because people are so parasocial. They genuinely believe that if they tear them down, they will do worse and their fav group will do (magically) better. Its such a weird mindset and has just gotten worse over time :/ but yeah babymonster is doing so well, i see them as my little sisters im so proud of them ahhhh

Jess

yes exactly!!! they can say anything about ads or views on their MVs but you cant "fake" sold out stadiums. They go on worldtour so shortly after their debut etc, some artists take years

High School in the US and it was the same, just school, boring school. maybe I will request one of them for the August request, haven't requested anything yet. Thanks!
